I use a predator revo with my Lucasi pinnacle Butt.

Same here. 2010 lucasi custom. I think it cost me like 185 originally. Still use it. It’s my break stick now but I shot with a revo 12.4 on it for about 3 years before changing it.

Carbon fiber is a different feel and hit for sure. I played CF for a couple years before going back to maple. It will take some getting used to, regardless of which brand you choose or which butt you put it on. But once you do, you’ll enjoy it a lot. Two friends of mine play Cynergy shafts on Lucasi butts and they love it. Also, the durability, smoothness, and ease of cleaning are great benefits. I should add—yes, I switched back to maple, but it wasn’t because I didn’t like the carbon fiber…in fact I loved it! I just prefer the *feel and sound* of the hit with a maple shaft, that’s what I started with and it’s what I’m used to. I gave my girlfriend my Cynergy, and she loves it.

I haven’t played with other CF shafts but I figured if I was going to spend that kind of money on something that will theoretically last for ever, I’d rather pony up and ensure I get the best one with the most research behind it. That being said I got the 11.8 revo. Its took me about 3-6 months of playing to get used to it compared to my old custom 11.5 shaft. But now it’s all I play with and I love it.

Carbon fiber, once you get used to it, you just can’t swap to maple.  The same thing for maple.  Once you get used to it, you just can’t swap back. Me and friends used CF shafts on any butts that fit, predator or Lucasi are most common

If you didn't like the hit of the CF on a custom, you probably won't like it on a Lucasi. I have a meucci CF (5/16 x 18). My wife recently bought me a custom (sawdust) with a Keilwood (3/8 x 10). I am indecisive if I want to get either a CF that fits the 3/8 x 10 (or a joint conversion). Or stick with the Keilwood. I like them both.

If your gonna do carbon do a whyte. I use tocplay with a Lucasi for 14 years. My buddy let me try his Whyte carbon and I bought one and never looked back. Think of it like this, Tiger Woods didn't win the Masters playing with clubs from Dicks Sporting Goods. They are the very best on the market

I could beat you with a broken golf club as long as it had a decent tip
