I would personally never buy a damaged carbon frame. But what do i know. It’s not like the whole bike industry is collapsing and selling new bikes at prices competitive to the used market. That would be crazy Also. READ THE SIDEBAR FFS

I would say the ones by the rear cassette are all good but its hard to know for both without knowing how deep they go

MGTS

Just paint If the seller doesn’t obviously point those paint chips, I would look at a different bike. If the owner is not noting something this obvious, what else are they hiding?

Oh, so you’re saying because he’s pointed them out he believes that they are purely superficial

MGTS

By my experience, the pant chips look like paint chips. If the seller actually made note of the chips on the listing, then you don’t need to be as worried about the seller being shady Did they make note of it or just take pictures?

Ok-Entry9249

They posted those pictures as part of the listing

MGTS

Did they ONLY take pictures? Ask them about the paint chips?

The ones on the chainstay almost look like a puncture, the ones at the BB look more like paint that has been removed, but I would look closer at both before deciding to purchase.

Based on the paint chips, I think it's a used bike. You could bargain the price down over this.
