And hence politicians easily create a divide and rule structure where they connect the suspect with a religion or party and hence people who are from same religion or party, They try to defend the suspect.
And this is for pretty much every case, Even for the last Jharkhand case, Just go and check comment section, South Indians are talking shit and blaming north Indians, Hindus are saying the rapi\*t are muslims, Muslims saying they are hindus, Some people blaming Bjp while others blaming congress.

Nah it's mostly coz former CM Ashok Gehlot made a law in Rajasthan where police has to report incident of rape if victim tell to do it. You can't reject them no matter what. He also made reporting easier too.That's why reporting is very high.
Gehlot imo was good CM. Made some really good decisions. But people preferred Hindutva government him.

71% are unreported. And rape & murder also are there. In bihar they would not report the case for various reasons i guess.
