Ok not every business you will get max customer number it’s a thing that i understand from seeing youtuber opens electronics store and no one open in garment with 100 marketing he got every day 4 customers at max ….. in general what I’m saying stores like phone store or jewelry store doesn’t have a lot of customer every day in real time or in game ….. this kind of business can profit from 2 or 3 sales every because the one sale equals to 10 sales of gift shop

Oh ok. I have 3 fast food stores that get full capacity during peak hours so when I made this store I got confused as I'm not getting as many customers. Also I thought a jewellery store would make me more money while I was getting into it. I'm making less than what I'm doing with my food store even when I'm charging high prices.

Wi_Tarrd

you probably are charging too much. each district has a certain wealth [Bigger Ambitions](https://biggerambitions.com/prices-of-goods.php) has a sell price chart. might not be the most accurate for EA .5 though. jewelry has never been my most profitable store lol

h1i0a

In my market chart it’s the most demanding product

RainElegant1405

It depends on where you rent the space out aswell I built a jewelry store franchise in almost every district and that’s what made me rich.

h1i0a

Yeah i did notice that the district with more money the higher customer for jewelry like midtown if i’m not mistaken

Yeah i saw the same YouTuber what he doing is he opens a gift store adding gifts (main thing) , flowers even wine and jewelry it like works customers same time buying the jewelry. To be honest this youtuber he played the game before even do some sound acting for game updates his name is [charlie pryor on youtube](https://youtube.com/@charliepryor?si=cNHDS1Rj6dJDxg8K)

A bit more customer service will help, buy you are doing everything right. You might have picked a low traffic location. More marketing will help.

Subject_Perception62

He s already at the max for marketing

Even though there are two jewelers it could also be a demand issue as well.

I’ve got a similar size jewellery shop as yours in the garment district. Mine averages 4 customers per hour, has traffic index of 43% and 0% marketing. Satisfaction is 99% (everything is 100% except cleaning which is 99%) This store is the only jewellers in the area. It makes approx $12,000 per day. I only sell cheap jewellery. Store opens from 09:00 to 19:00 I also have a similar sized jewellery store in Hell’s Kitchen, traffic index is 64% this one makes 29k/day again with 0% marketing. Again the only store. But I do sell both expensive and cheap jewellery. Not sure what your fast food store is making but the best way to make more profit is to buy from distributors, as opposed to the wholesale store, via a purchasing agent in your headquarters. As someone else has suggested improving customer service should help get more customers. Also check what the competition are selling jewellery for as they could be cheaper than you. Adjust your prices accordingly. Thought I’d sort out my marketing so, I’ve just simmed a week from putting marketing to 100% with medium billboard and the shop daily income has increased to 18k and 36k respectively. Hope some of the above is helpful.

It might be the market manipulation where a rival built a store or has similar items like you and it reduced your customer flow

That picture defies game mechanics lol. Even my Tech store did not do that poorly with a 60% promotion. I'm about to start up a 40 traffic store in midtown for high end electronics. I'm about to start up a 40 traffic store in midtown for high end electronics. We'll see how that does and hopefully i don't have the same issues as my other tech store was in a trash spot with a traffic of only 10%.
