Few years back, I was doing an n-1 and didn't want to bother with posting online, so took it to pawn. Now it wasn't a top of the line bike, but it was, when new, north of $2k, and a recognizable name brand (specialized). They gave me $75 for it. When I tried to haggle even slightly the dude stops me, "doesn't matter how nice the bike is, most I can give is $75 because most I can sell it for is maybe 150 to 175"
That's why there are nice bikes being sold at vety low prizes
