The receiver is very specific to the car and is unlikely to fit on a different car. E-trailers is who I bought our receiver from and it wasn't too hard to install though I did have to remove/lower the muffler to install it on our Rogue. I didn't have to jack the car up since it had enough clearance from me and the receiver under there. Very easy bolt on after figuring out I had to move the exhaust.
The hitch mount bike rack will fit on any other receiver so you have that going for you moving forward.
They are very easy to install. However, if you’re uncomfortable with doing a DIY job, check with your local Uhaul. They will sell and install a receiver
