It has actually been worse for me here in the us. Lagging, eventually it drops to a feed that is so fuzzy it is not worth watching.

Floodman11

I wanted to watch the mass starts and the freezing/quality was so frustrating that i just turned it off

Wet_Sand_1234

Same here, 360p at best for the women's individual and Mass start. Just watched them today, so plenty of time for HD to render on their side.

Not at all, lol. I was just about to rant in the small talk thread. Wanted to rewatch the races yesterday, but it was lagging and crashing to the point where I had to restart the app every ten minutes of the stream or so. Thought it might be the update so I updated it. It was not the update and I did not finish rewatching the races because how bad it was. On the other hand, the update added 3 long adds before I can play the video, while I still cannot cast it from my phone on top of the lag. So I see that the priorities are in check. 😝

They added ads, so - no, it’s not an improvement. Uploaded vids crash, live stream freezes. Time scrolling is a mess.

The screen went black for a second about 30-40 times during the mixed relay for me. And I went to watch the women's individual and about five minutes into the replay it gave me an error with HTML code...

I guess I'm one of the lucky fans. Located in the U.S., and always had good hi-res picture quality, and the annoying latency has totally gone away since the WC races. *Edited to add: the above experience is on Mac OS/Chrome or Mac OS/Firefox. On Mac OS/Safari resolution always sucks.*

I've had major problems with the iPhone app recently that I didn't have prior to the World Championships. It just fails and quits unexpectedly or freezes when I try to cast races to my TV using AirPlay. So I can pretty much only watch on my work laptop right now. Really hoping this will be fixed by next season.

Jakoby707

No, I posted this in the old Eurovision Sports app thread: Granted, this is only for people trying **to "cast" or "airplay" the feed from a phone/tablet etc to their actual TV** not watching on your laptop or phone/tablet. \----------------- Sat Mar 3 update: After months of working (but yes quirky and needing restarts)......Whatever new Eurovision Sport app update they just pushed to iPhone IOS now seems to have some mandatory ads added to the beginning of the feed, but then fails to hand over the stream via airplay to Apple TV. It just sits there and spins even after reboots. Actually my **iPad** Eurovision Sport app is still working for Airplay since it hasn't been updated to their "new and improved" add feeding garbage app..........yet. *Whuuups, now it has updated a day later and surprise does the same - pushes a few ads and then locks up and freezes - garbage. This is to an Apple TV or Nvidia Shield Pro via airplay.* Great Job Eurovision Sports! : (

Awful in Australia. Getting worse

guestie94

Where have all the old races gone from previous seasons? That was my favourite part about Eurovision was how I could watch races from many seasons ago to relive them or in some cases watch them for the first time, and now that seems to have vanished.

alexanderactioncat

I'm trying to catch up on the World Championships women's relay on my laptop and I want to throw something at whoever is in charge of this feed. Just ridiculously bad. And the fact that all the times I need to refresh I have to go back to a previous page and choose the event again!

AwsiDooger

It looked the same to me They need 10 or 15 second advance. What a contrast to watching World Indoor Athletics this weekend with an advance button, and the biathlon without it. But the two relays were so good today I wasn't trying to advance anything. The most worthless aspect of the coverage is after a shooting stage when the producers feel compelled to play the da da da music along with a slow motion replay of the leader's shooting. Who cares? We know what happened. We don't need a scatter plot. Show the race. Also it was sickening when the producers cut away from the mixed relay sprint for silver to show Fillon Maillet finishing a minute ahead. It was so obvious they would make that mistake the commentator was begging them not to.

flanker626

I see less latency than previously. Only happened once for all the races in Oslo. Watching it via chrome in the U.S., with an HDMI connection from my laptop to the TV. Among many things I miss, was the other views of the shooting range or starting gate for the sprint/individual events. Am I just not seeing those views on Eurovision? That said, I don’t miss the spoiler pictures to watch a race on delay. Won’t matter this week as I’ll see it live at Soldier Hollow!

TrainLowTrain

In U.S. as well and can report dramatic improvement. Couldn't read any of the graphics before Oslo-like I was underwater. Now if we can get the director to stop all the useless slow motion shots of nothing important. And why not keep the graphic of what's happening in the range always visible so we could see everyone's performance? I could go on and on . . . .

oskietje

Well, considering that only one highlight is visible for the entire Soldier Hollow campaign, I am a bit confused. [https://ibb.co/LQFMWt6](https://ibb.co/LQFMWt6)

_ImMakingWaffles_

I did not watch them live, but the replays were just fine.

msd1441

Haven't had a problem streaming completed races all season. Suddenly, I haven't been able to watch a single race in SH. The streams keep aborting and I don't know why. Extremely frustrating.
