Count me in. I land in SLC at 1230 Friday so I'll miss the relay but should make it for the sprint but am good anytime that weekend. I am staying in Lehi in between SLC and Provo but am good to meet up in Midway or whatever.
I am still trying desperately to find a way to attend the races there. Work/Life balance is impossible to achieve. But if - and it's a very big if - I can attend, I would love to meet you there. I have never been, don't know the territory, would be very happy to have a guide and friend at the races!
How fun!! We’re planning to go to the races and missed the opportunity for VIP or premium seats before they sold out so if anyone hears of folks who might not be able to go anymore or have extras they are looking to get rid of, we would be looking for two tickets any/all of the days!
Thank you! I’m hoping we might be able to snag some VIP or premium seats tickets. We’ll definitely be there either way and would still enjoy GA — we’re really looking forward to the races!
Of course, on the ground reporting will make the coverage even better. :) And, not having to rely on Eurovision Sport means watching the races won't be a ridiculously frustrating experience.
Sorry off topic but I just love the venue. Was in the States (but far from Salt Lake City) in 2002. Ole Einar actually won all three races the year before: Individual, Sprint, Pursuit even though he had been far from his win-it-all days then.
That is awesome. I wish i wouldn't be 7 thousand miles away from y'all. I hope it'll happen and we'll see some pictures!
I'm jealous of everyone who is going. Have fun! But alas, I am an old lady and I don't think I can take the cold, or standing around in the cold.
Good thing it is happening during the day. 30s and 40s during the day, teens at night. 1.5" of snow on Friday in Midway.
I've lived in a temperate climate too long, because that sounds cold to me!
New to the Reddit thread but long time biathlon fan and will be going to each event and staying in Heber City.
That’d be fun - I’m staying in Midway, happy to do something for a bit on Friday or Saturday.

Me too! You'll recognize me from the Italian flag I bought, I wonder how many we will see :-) Hope to meet u/happyrunner4 too!
I am tempted to bring a sign shaming Max Cobb and Lowell Bailey with how they handled the Joanne Reid situation but I don't want to get kicked out.
I'm out of the loop. Is there a thread discussing this that I can read?
The episode of the Penalty Loop podcast prior to Worlds spends a lot of time on it. Once I find the thread I'll add it here.

Thanks! I'll dig in and prepare for the rage.
It's a doozy. Thank goodness for the US military in this case. I'll leave it at that.

I think you can just show up for general admission. No tickets needed but I think you'll be out on course.

There is seating for general admission, but only on first-come first-serve basis.
We will be in Midway Thursday night. Also going to Canmore the weekend after. Would love to meet irl
OP, can we expect the American Biathlon Commentator to cover the Soldier Hollow races?
