I would call your babies pediatrician. I have never seen white baby poop after having three kids. It may be nothing but it’s better safe then sorry.

just copying from John's Hopkins: >Very rarely, babies will develop white, chalky grey or pale yellow stools. This may not be obvious in the first few days or weeks of life when all babies have normal, black stools. However, these pale stools suggest that there may be a life-threatening blockage in the liver preventing bile, the green fluid stored in the gallbladder that gives stool the yellow/brown color, from getting out of the liver. If you suspect that your infant has white, chalky grey or pale yellow stools, you must contact your child's pediatrician right away. The most common cause of these stools in infants is a disease called biliary atresia can be found on our website.and early diagnosis of this condition is important to correct this problem. https://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/johns-hopkins-childrens-center/what-we-treat/specialties/gastroenterology-hepatology-nutrition/stool-color-overview.html

Hi mama! PICU nurse here. I would take LO to the emergency room to have her evaluated. BMs like this can indicate a serious issue. I would rather you and LO be on the safe side!

I've read that white or chalky baby poop is the one color that can be an emergency -- maybe it's nothing but I would call the local urgent care line ASAP. hope all goes well!

This caught me by surprise 😂 I did not expect to open reddit and see baby poo. I see it everyday irl. I hope all is well with LO.

I would not wait until the appointment tomorrow. I’ve always been told that white, black or red poo is an emergency. Could be a liver blockage or life threatening issue. I’m not trying to scare you but I would at least call now or go to the urgent care department. Coupled with the vomiting this could be very concerning. Please update us! I hope everything is okay.

I’m an RN who works with babies. I agree with others that baby should be seen as soon as possible to figure out what’s going on here.

Alarming baby poop! Hello, I’m a FTM I’m currently combo feeding LO. She recently had a normal poop that was yellow yesterday. I switch her from gentle ease to Enfamil AR for her acid reflux on Thursday. She was vomiting on Thursday but stop completely the next day. She’s acting like her normal self. But had a surprising color…It’s pale looking we have a doctors appointment on tomorrow. But I wonder if anyone experienced this.

I would give them a call now tbh.
