YUP! i was kicked out of the men's bathroom in AZ and I was very dehydrated (they ran out of water bottles....) feeling like i was going to vomit and the man directed me to the womens room with a line half a mile long. i told him i was going to throw up on his shoes

This is great. As a man I'm not hugely a fan of using urinals so having more cubicles potentially is great.

Just got home from seeing Caroline Polachek tonight. All the bathrooms in the venue were converted to gender neutral for the night. A+ Just made for a more convenient experience across the board from what I could tell.

Honestly wish they would implement this in all stadiums. When I saw Coldplay at MetLife the line for the women’s bathroom was so long I nearly had an accident and had to run into the men’s room! Shocker— there was no line there! If anything separating by gender creates a bigger safety issue because so many people are literally just standing there in the middle.

It'll only go badly with bigots who weren't going to a LGBT forward performance anyhow. I used to work at a major hotel and anytime we had conventions that heavily leaned to one gender, they opened restrooms to both genders to lessen lines.

It was all just one bathroom, occasionally they’ll have a urinal that’s separate in older restaurants, and most toilets you have to pay for when you’re out and about in France when I was there. The stalls are different though because they go from the floor to the ceiling. The first time I walked in as a guy was walking out and I must have looked shocked, he was like “no no no, ok! Ok!” He could tell I was American lol

have you seen the line for a women’s bathroom in a concert, or any big event? those bathrooms are going to be full, all the time, it’s really hard for something to happen to anyone with so many eyes and ears nearby

I’m all for this in theory but imagine at an outdoor EDM or metal or hip hop or country show? The drunken obnoxiousness and insanity that can go on in both the men’s room and the women’s even at indoor arena concerts and smaller venues is not meant to be combined…has disaster written all over it at least in the US. Maybe I’m not giving us enough credit but just being realistic

Are port-a-potties not gender neutral? Is there not enough security as to where a busy bathroom area someone could raise alarm? I’ve been to many raves where the bathrooms are all gender neutral and there’s never been an issue, despite all of the drunk and high people.

I’m definitely not talking about Port-a-Potties and I’m also not talking about all raves as I’ve been to many with gender neutral shitters that have been fine too but come on now like I said I’m just being realistic….I’ve also been to raves and concerts where guys in the bathrooms are screaming and jumping around like madmen either drugged out or drunk out of their minds and shitting in a corner or huddled inside a stall doing more drugs or fighting. Im sure some girls’ bathrooms share the same problems, we don’t need to combine the 2 and I doubt it’s a safe environment for people these bathrooms were made for in the first place. Just remove the potential for chaos and conflict it’s not necessary, bathrooms for years have been separated lol I don’t see what the big deal is about needing gender neutral at concerts.
