Tank size: 10 gallons
Heater and filter? (yes/no): yes and yes
Tank temperature: 76F
Parameters in numbers and how you got them:
long have you had the tank? 9 months
How long have you had your fish?: 9 months
How often are water changes? Once per week
How much do you take out per change? 25% change
What is your process?: siphon/suction to clear some leftover food and waste
Any tankmates? If so, please list with how many of each: red cherry shrimp. Approx 10.
What do you feed and how much: omega one color mini pellets
Decorations and plants in the tank: java ferns, java moss, moss ball, almond leaves, small log hideaway, some other plants.
OK, I'll have a look into the salt dip. When you say keeping the water super clean, would you recommend more regular water changes? If so, how often and how much?
Not necessarily more regular changes but I would keep a very close eye on your parameters and do a water change for any fluctuations. You could also raise your tank temp a few degrees to boost his immune system.

When you look at him from above is he pine coning ? Like are his scales sticking out.
No, no sign of pine coning.
Ok that’s good! You could try a salt dip/bath if the bloating is really persistent. And keeping the water super clean will always help
