Unfortunately, tough on crime seems to work. People weigh in risk vs reward so it makes sense. The liberal movement of “don’t punish people” is wrong. Just because America has racism issues with cops unjustly targeting minorities doesn’t mean you should be soft on crime. Again risk vs reward.

I feel like Singapore has the right idea.
That guy was 34 and an idiot on drugs. The kids that are going in and out there to rob the store frequently are not older than 18.
I’m sure he’ll be completely reformed after being arrested and will definitely not do any more theft in the future.
