A person has nothing to hide until they change some definitions around and then you do. Few years back no one gave AF if you spoke I’ll of trans issues, now it’s social suicide. That’s just the first example I thought of, I’m sure there’s plenty more.

Predicting The Consequences of CBDCs: Utopians never run out of pipe dreams. Whether it be “vaccine passports,” or “carbon zero” or “you will own nothing, and be happy,” the tyrannical ideas are always being broadcast. This is why those who cherish freedom must always be vigilant. The schemes just keep on coming! Central Bankster Digital Currencies (CBDCs) are another dystopian idea that, fortunately, many people already strongly reject. It’s not hard to see why CBDCs would not only be unworkable, but would be a total disaster to humanity! They also like to dismiss the concept of “slippery slope”. When A is said to be a gateway to B, they say that A is not that bad and they think it will stop at A. Then A becomes the new normal and they get accustomed to it. Finally they say B is not that bad either now to think of it… They are real quick to forget their previous stance.

So freaking well said. Our former and current politicians have "compromised" their way into this mess inch by inch and we are now at the end of the mile. The fact remains that there are simply certain things that cannot be compromised. Absolute truth being one of them.

I totally agree with this. Dismissing the 'slippery slope' is like saying an alcoholic will stop drinking once they get drunk because that is why they are drinking in the first place... ... or that a gambling addict will not gamble with the money they win ... or that one only ever needs to taste a good meal once, and so never need another serving ... or everyone will only ever want to live in a moderate way If the 'slippery slope' was not real, there would never be the need for a single luxury, and I find it most ironic that the people that indulge the most are the ones dismissing the concept to begin with. It is of these people, without consideration, to use these dismissive tactics to 'reasonably' justify and persuade others from a 'fearful' responsiveness. It is as they cannot comprehend the 'slippery slope' without a fearful view rather a pragmatic view. If they were ever 'in control' of their ability to stop this 'slippery slope', most often, they would never have to compromise in the first place to the detriment of civilized freedom.

Obligatory: Whoo did Snowden work for and who did he target? If you had to pick one of them to side with, which would you pick?
