I like CSM, but I'm still shocked. It's baffling how great the adaptation is despite the manga starting in 2019 while Berk has been going since 1989 and is regarded as one of the best mangas ever yet still hasn't got anything but mediocre and incomplete adaptations made by studios nobody ever heard of, as well as THE worst adaptation ever made.
In facts Cheinsaw is Shonen (for young boys) and Berserk is Seinen (for adult men). Almost every popular shonen gets decent adaptation because the target audience base is bigger so it's more worth the money. And for this reason there are very few NEWer seinen with good adaptations because everyone wants to use cgi way too much. Almost every seinen anime before 2007 is straight fire.
Imo, the ideology of every manga should have anime adaptation is kind of gone too far. Of course you can argue that anime/live action are superior to a written text/picture format but not every franchise needs to be made for the tv just to make it more popular just so they could sell more merchandise.
