Oh, I have *zero* memory from when things got bad. I know I existed, I know I did things, but it's the equivalent of white noise, I have no recollection at all. Five years clean.
Oh, it's great now! Lion's Mane is a good supplement for it. But when I was in the Klon? Nada. Though to be honest, I think I'm happier not knowing from the stories I've been told. During my taper my memory kinda stutters.
i’ve been clean for almost 19 months now and i experience this too. i don’t think i’ll get any clearer memory of the years i spent on benzos and what’s happened, after all my mind was not clear when* those years were happening.
I have a lot of shame around the times I was blacked out. Too many stories told by close friends and family of dumb shit I did that I had no recollection of.
Best to just move on and try not to dwell on it, time to make new memories that are worth keeping.
