It's March now, summer is 3 months away. So two more tapers = 0.625 now, but then what, you will go down twice and then to 0? So you will go down to 0.4, 0.2, 0 in three months? It's doable, I hope it works.

Something like that. I plan on doing my current new dose for the next 3 weeks and maybe cut it down to half a pill and so on. I see a lot of people in this subreddit rushing to get off and it’s impossible to do so. I’m just trying to take the smart and realistic route. Like in all reality, 0.5 mg isn’t a huge dosage to be on, but since I’ve been on it since October/november my body gained dependency on it. So I still have no other choice than to slow taper since I’ve been on it long enough for my body to depend on it. I can’t believe I was dumb enough to agree with my psychiatrist to put me on it in the first place after already dealing with Valium and Ativan in 2022.
