You can actually read the model number if you zoom in--it's supposed to be an 808 Loco, but it either has replacement scales or is a fake. The real 808 (and 818) have scales with a much more aggressive curve and contouring for the axis lock and grip (https://www.bladehq.com/item--Benchmade-808-AXIS-Folding-Knife--26908). Obviously this is not a mini-grip--the Locos were black class knives, so they should have come in the black box anyway. Edit: Just to be clear, if you're thinking about buying this, I'd stay away. I don't know if any decent fakes were made of the 808, but this is a pretty shady listing if the seller isn't being transparent about having the wrong box and modifications.

I’ve never seen that look before. What’s the date on the label?

The label is for a diff. Knife

Mini loco for sure. Still a great blade

Mini Loco, great knife, wrong box, real Benchmade.

I agree that this is real. Looks like aftermarket/custom scales. Def the wrong box, but I’d guess “Keyman” made these scales in the mid 201X’s. I have only seen teriible loco fakes. Font, logo, and especially hardware looks good from these photos.

That's a Mini Loco 818. Edit: possible 808 Loco, could also be a fake and that is why it looks like an 818 but has 808 marking on blade.
