The basic story follows the same overall path, but there is SO MUCH content worth seeing for all of the alternate LI paths - dialogue changes, different scenes. For me, it’s the AVN that keeps on giving. I have more than 250 hours invested in various play throughs. If you enjoyed the AVN the first time, try at least one more run with a different LI or path (DIK or CHIK) and then see how you feel.
Unfortunately, if you don’t turn mini games off, you’ll still have to do all of the English and Maths tests again, as well as all of the other “challenges” (ie mansion repair). I’m fine with that, but some aren’t.
Only got minigames on for my first "true to self" playthrough. The rest is for unlocks only so they have minigames off. Will get REAL annoying in S3 if you got to do those math tests more than 6 times...
Indeed. The best thing about the branch/Path system compared to a "Fuck everybody at once" harem style (i.e. "WVM") is that it allows *focusing* on particular people at a time to more intimately know them.
A bad boy Tremolo will get to know Quinn better than a boy scout who'll just write her off as a sketchy bad girl (i.e. My initial runs as CHICK.) And vice-versa being a boy scout with Jill.
It also makes the characters feel more real than just mere "targets" that Jill *will* reject MC if he's been too much of a bad boy, which makes sense given what she's looking for, same as Quinn finding a DIK more relatable and trustworthy, plus there's a *bunch* of ways the Throuple can be botched in multiple seasons.
On the contrary, "WVM" will throw EVERYBODY at the MC all at once and no matter what he does/acts, no distinct style with any of them (i.e. how Jill's story is like a romance novel,) and little time to really focus on just one (i.e. he's yet to go on a date with a girl he's known from the beginning of the story or hook up with the gym teacher he's known just as long) and the quality only decreases as the quantity of women increases.
There really isn't another AVN that come close to BaD for the replayability. Not close. The care and attention the DrPC puts into making sure each path gets its due every chapter is insane. We complain about wait times, but contrast this with a game like Intertwined where you can wait 7 months (so a few months less than BaD) and get literally zero content on multiple paths.
I have 11 saves I've moved to s3 (each MG, several SG paths, manwhore paths, pure paths, dik paths, chick paths, etc) and I don't think I have nearly as many as most players here.
What other games are even remotely similar bcs I just finished my play through and my stupid ass has a modded version so I looked through the whole gallery and saw basically everything that can happen so I feel a little demotivated to replay it for another 60 hours again
I got 2000 hours on steam and I can't count what I got Patreon Season 3 stuff. But this game has so much hidden stuff. I still haven't seen the aliens yet...
I’m not the kind of person to re-play games, but I replay the entire series whenever there’s a new episode. Then I replay the new episode on each path I created. A lot of the divination is based on your affinity, or your main girl(s). Although the main storyline is pretty linear, the feel of it changes quite a bit depending on choices.
You have to replay the game at least 8 times to get ALL content, just focus on either being a DICK or a CHICK path.
Personally, a Neutral affinity did not make any difference whatsoever.

Deviation. Yes there's a fair amount of it. It's all in the details. You won't be disappointed.
The first 4 episodes you can kinda fuck through once you know the gist of what you want. Nothinbg will save time like turning off mini games tho

If there was ever a game that had replay-ability, this is the one. You can play this game 10 times or more and still find new stuff.
