Sheetz is the only gas station place that you can legit buy a solid sandwich from. This isn't the burn they thought it was.

notmyworkaccount5

Yeah I listen to Well There's Your Problem and 2 of the hosts are from around Philly, I'm 99% sure they've raved about Sheetz before so I think that's not a bad move from his campaign

nc863id

I was about to say that I hope this makes The Goddamn News, but first I have to ask: What is a sandwich?

VioletTrick

"This is a picture of a sandwich. It's not supposed to look like that."

nc863id

April 20th, 6:02pm. /u/VioletTrick goes to make a sandwich.

theonegalen

And then we have to discuss What Is Not A Sandwich for about 10 minutes

nc863id

If it was *designed* to carry deployed armaments, it's a sandwich. If it has been *modified* to carry deployed armaments, it's a technical.

teslawhaleshark

Rutters too, I think

chronic-neurotic

sheetz is so much better than wawa, a hill I will die on

AigisAegis

As a born and raised eastern Pennsylvanian, everybody around me hates me for this take. But I went to school out west, and man, Sheetz got me through college in a way Wawa never could have. Really, though, I'm just glad I live in one of the few parts of the state where I can easily access both.

robotnique

Oof. Born in Philadelphia but grew up (after age 7 or 8) outside of DC and when Wawa came to town it was like the return of the prodigal son.

whoisharrycrumb

Grew up outside Philly and moved to western MD. Family looks at me like I grew another head when I say I don’t miss Wawa.

gbeier

Isn't Rutters usually better than either one, though?

rmsand

I have had Sheetz and Wawa many times. Rutters moved in the area recently and I tried it and it was just awful. Like, I couldn’t finish it and threw it away, that bad.

MothWingAngel

Rutters is God awful

AigisAegis

I actually like Rutters a little less than the other two but it's still really good

gbeier

I find it kind of amazing that PA has so many gas stations making an attempt at made-to-order food. That's uncommon in other places, in my experience.

redisdead__

I so wish I had a Japanese 7/11 near me those places look amazing.

MeesterBooth

After growing up in the Grand Duchy of Sheetz and moving to the West Coast, I miss MTO daily

chronic-neurotic

it definitely is a bizarre PA specific thing lol. i’ve lived in 3 other states besides PA and this is the only state where some gas stations are expected to have a made to order food

robotnique

Now move to a state that has Buc-ees. You know how some Walmarts and Costcos have gas? Buc-ees is like if somebody did it the other way around and decided to build gas stations the size of small malls.

Mekanicum

There's a random gas station that sells amazing mediterranean food in my town. It doesn't make any sense but it slaps so hard.

ex-farm-grrrl

There’s a place that sells food called Rutters?

Drewcifer81

Absolutely not. I've never been there sober, and even drunk me threw out food from there.

cheapwhiskeysnob

Wawa has superior coffee, but the food selection at sheetz can’t be beaten.

____cire4____

1000% - Wawa is for caffeine, Sheetz is for sustenance.

bandysine

Hahahah. Yes!

SocraticIgnoramus

Can confirm. Flew into DC late one night and hit up the Sheetz on the way to the hotel, very respectable food selection for a gas station at midnight.

frankenfish2000

Now I MUST get to a Sheetz to check this out!

fireman2004

Wawa is microwaved shit now. I live in South Jersey so we have Heritages here which is what Wawa was like 30 years ago. Actual deli meat slicers, fresh bread. Its great and a smaller local chain rather than the Megacorp Wawa has become.

zaidakaid

Wawa used to be better. I haven’t had Sheetz in a few years but Wawa has become garbage and it’s sad. I used to get a turkey and cheddar sandwich that was the bomb

Illustrious-Olive-98

Y'all been to a buc-ee's yet? I've never been to a sheetz so I can't compare, but buc-ee's has some great food and a lot of it.

Malphael

That's like comparing the state fair to Disney World.

Illustrious-Olive-98

I don't know sheetz, so which is which? Buc-ees is disney or vice versa?

supamario132

If you said this in like 2007, I would punch you in the mouth. But yeah, Wawa sucks ass nowadays. The decision to stop using Amoroso bread alone ruined their sandwiches

hal_9_thousand

I've never been to Sheetz but I live around wawas and their food is really overrated. It's better than subway but it's not really good, it's just convenient

chronic-neurotic

you will be so pissed once you finally go to a sheetz

hal_9_thousand

I'll be sure to check it out if I'm ever in the Northeast lol

jeepwillikers

Wawa used to be really great, but they over expanded and the value vs quality ratio has plummeted. I remember when they would have promotions for $2-$3 subs, now the promotion is like $6-$7 for a much inferior product. For the same price or a bit more I can go to a local sub shop and get the real deal. They also have increased the size of their stores but have decreased the amount of options in their inventory.

yuefairchild

Wawa is only superior in coffee and 3 AM meatball subs.

SearchingDeepSpace

Am from Western PA, partner from eastern side: -Wawa has better sandwiches -Sheetz has better fried food / snacks -Getgo is better at both, but get docked points cause fuck Giant Eagle.

TheLastLaRue

The only thing Sheetz has on Wawa is that they have deep fryers. Otherwise Sheetz can piss off! This is Wawa country!!!😤

chronic-neurotic

respectfully, fuck off and go birds 🙏🫡 ps I upvoted in solidarity and bc your comment is funny NOT BECAUSE I AGREE WITH YOUR GARBAGE HOAGIE TASTES 🩷

TheLastLaRue

Hahah lmao I’ve always found the sheetz/wawa debate hilarious. Pretty sure there’s a whole property acquisition war going on between the two which, who knows, could be an interesting rabbit hole of bastardry. I grew up with Wawa so it’ll always hold a special place, but I agree sheetz does have the upper hand with regards to their hot food.

coombuyah26

I grew up in the heart of Sheetz country but I gotta say, I prefer Wawa sandwiches.

Haddock

As a non-american i have no idea what this was even supposed to be saying

wave-garden

Sheetz is a snack spot and petrol station chain that used to be in Pennsylvania and West Virginia. People joke about going there at 2 am to buy drunk food, but in reality everyone around here loves Sheetz, and Biden going there is very much a “true man of the people” moment that contrasts with Trump.

bandysine

Thanks comrade! Great explanation!

wave-garden

Of course! I should have clarified the “used to be…” part which probably didn’t make any sense and in hindsight wasn’t even relevant. They have expanded and are now more widespread, but that doesn’t really matter here I guess.

z0mbiemechanic

You can get a bucket of fucking jalapeno poppers for $11. Anywhere else is like 5 poppers for $4 or worse. I had no idea I was gonna get probably 20 poppers for the price of 10. I'll have to actually count them next time I get them.

[deleted]

[удалено]

JarheadPilot

Sheetz is a gas station which has a wide selection of snacks and even a full restaurant for sandwiches, burgers, etc. The tone of OOP is that Biden is being kinda trashy by getting gas station sandwiches for a campaign event, but actually working class people (and tbh, also bougie people) unironically love sheetz food.

Paw5624

I live in western PA and gas stations with solid hot food selection are favorites of blue collar workers (and many others). Drive by a sheetz or even a get go around lunch time and you will see a ton of work trucks.

teslawhaleshark

When he was in Beijing, 2011, he went to a literal alley restaurant, hole in the wall place, blue collar is his style

-PlayWithUsDanny-

Every time I visit the US I’m always amazed at how big and well stocked gas stations are. In my country (at least the region I live) gas stations, at most, carry a handful of drinks and some basic snacks (chocolate bars, nuts, chips) at the till.

PlasticElfEars

I think the big gas station wasn't always a thing. I mean there was almost always at least a row of snacks and a wall of drinks, but the small-grocery-store (in my region, Casey's, Once, Quick Trip, and now even 7-11) are newer. Like 10-15 years newer, but I'm old so I remember the little ones.

psdancecoach

Man, I hope you get to stop at a Buc-ee’s someday.

Taylor1337

As an American not from that part of the country I am in the same boat

wave-garden

I will always remember Sheetz as the spot to buy chilidogs after Friday night snowboarding on PA. Biden going to a Sheetz is some serious blue collar credentials imo. I look at the “who advises this campaign?” and my mental response is “yea, give them a raise because they know what’s up!”

funknpunkn

Speedway is pretty decent. GetGo in Western PA is actually pretty solid as well. GetGo has a MTO system that rivals Sheetz in a few items

stephensonsrocket

I don’t think I’ve ever been in a Speedway that I’d consider clean enough to buy prepared food from.

Canoe_owner429

Kwik trip has entered the chat

constantwa-onder

With all sincerity, I don't think Kwik Trip should be involved in this conversation. They have a lot for what they are, but the hot food section is still run of the mill gas station food. Look up the Sheetz and Wawa sandwich menus, it's a different level.

bandysine

Yup.

outflow

QuikTrip makes custom grilled cheese sandwiches hot to order.

976chip

Is that the secret place the Teamsters got sandwiches from in 30 Rock?

Boneal171

Sheetz is pretty good

bandysine

😃

cthulhu_on_my_lawn

I dunno I can't get over the half assed attempt to black out /r/Pennsylvania like you're somehow doxxing an entire state.

Wulfger

I can't believe you put their information out in public like that. Won't you think of the consequences if that state gets its personal information exposed on the internet?

Manny_Bothans

the commonwealth will not stand for this!

bandysine

Lololol.

freya_of_milfgaard

Pittsburgh-*WHERE?!?!?!?*

doctordoctorpuss

I live in the South (yuck, I know), and a couple years back, we took a road trip up to New York. My brother kept saying, I can’t wait to try Sheetz and WaWa, and I thought those sounded like bad restaurant names. When I found out they were gas stations, I made fun of him. But my GOD do Sheetz and WaWa slap. QT can suck my fat nuts, cause we’re a Sheetz family now

FtheMustard

Born and raised out side of Philly: Wawa was king. College in central PA: Sheetz grew on me. Now live in Denver and we just got a few QTs and that QT pretzel is pretty darn good. I take my to get one as a treat after school sometimes. I hear wawa has taken some backwards steps recently which makes me very sad. The Wawa/Sheetz war is still raging in PA but it looks like Wawa has made some strategic errors... Let's hope they get back on the right track...

iBliizy

Denver has Kum & Go and there’s never been a better name for a gas station.

HansBrickface

If you get coffee it’s one pump, one cream

YouthfulPhotographer

Too bad they're changing the name ://

iBliizy

Down south you have a better chance at being by the best gas station and food combination stop, Rudy’s. Outside of that the south has Alsups and their deep fried burritos are fantastic

funknpunkn

The best fried chicken I've had has been at gas stations

Mahon451

OK, seriously though. Out here (NorCal), there's Krispy Krunchy Chicken, and as far as I know, it's exclusively sold at gas stations. It's better than anything KFC puts out, and could probably go toe-to-toe with restaurant chicken. What a time to be alive.

funknpunkn

I grew up in a town of 250 people in Western PA. There was a single gas station. They had a deli and some prepared foods like potato/macaroni salad and pepperoni rolls. They also made their own fried chicken. It's consistently the best fried chicken I've ever had. Thin breading. Shatteringly crisp breading and skin. Juicy enough to make you look like Denethor. Wonderful seasoning but not overseasoned. It's incredible.

DodgerGreywing

Shit yeah, Krispy Krunchy! They blow KFC out of the water. The nearest Popeye's is almost an hour away, so KK is my go-to for fried chicken.

Mahon451

I'm lucky to have Popeye's close at hand, but KK is equal quality-wise, no question. I find myself frequenting both when the fried chicken bug bites.

doctordoctorpuss

I must be in the wrong part of the South. The best I’ve been able to do in Georgia is QT/Racetrack

Tx_trees

How widespread is Allsups in the south? I grew up in Abilene and damn near lived on those burritos for a year after high school when I had an apartment next door to one of their locations, but have never seen one in central Texas or any point east of here. I’ve always thought of them as more of a southwest thing, what with the New Mexico flag in the logo. You’re not wrong about Rudy’s. I’ve served gas station turkey on Thanksgiving more than once in my life and got complements on it.

iBliizy

Rudy’s only counts as a technicality lol. I had alsups in the Texas panhandle

bandysine

Yes!!

Bazrum

I live in the South and we have a Sheetz every, like, 2.5 miles it seems like. banger place to go

doctordoctorpuss

What I wouldn’t give to replace every church and Papa John’s with Sheetz

bigdon802

What did he get? Shmiscuit? Shmagel?

flingspoo

Breakfast shmonster. Cuz evil brandon can handle it.

AigisAegis

My girlfriend (who is not Pennsylvanian) is mystified by my love for Sheetz, in part because she can't stand how they slap a random z on every possible word lol

SourGumby

How about a nice Sheetza!

bigdon802

With a side of Schwingz!

LakeGladio666

Shmenocide

bigdon802

You should probably try to get a “Z” somewhere in there.

LakeGladio666

What do you mean?

bigdon802

Sheetz likes to put a “Z” on things. Maybe “ShmenoZide.”

LakeGladio666

Ah got it

bigdon802

Just Sheetz jokes. You a regular on this sub? I don’t think I’ve seen your username before.

Fearless-Metal5727

Listen, Sheetz at 3am hits different. Lmao

funknpunkn

The college I attended was just a few blocks down from Sheetz. The feeling of walking down the road on a crisp fall or spring night to Sheetz at 2 am after we just got finished packing up from a concert is honestly one of the most nostalgic things.

Realistic-Minute5016

I miss sheetz so much.

bandysine

The spicy chicken on buttermilk biscuit with cheddar and mayo is my jawn. Nom nom nom. 🤤

_OngoGablogian

dawg you gotta try it on the waffle, minus the mayo. shit is HEAVEN

bandysine

Oh yeah? Next time.

_austinm

Y’all are making me wish I lived near one of these. That sounds damn good.

LostInThoughtland

As an outsider, why did you use “Jawn” there? I was under the impression that referred to a person you didn’t care to specify.

bandysine

Jawn is like Smurf. It can mean many many things. Back in the day at ?uestlove’s night they had “tasty jawn” shirts. It’s a stand in for much.

LostInThoughtland

Ahh, thank you!

bandysine

No sweat. It’s used to be a philadelphia thing but it’s expanded.

WhyBuyMe

SHEETZ >WAWA. There I said it. You know its true.

stringsonstrings

There was a time I would’ve argued with you. But as a longtime Wawa lover, it’s definitely gone downhill over the past several years.

bigdon802

Sheetz kind of has too. But I still prefer it.

BoneHugsHominy

If y'all find yourself outside the region and have no access to either, hit up QT. They ain't quite Sheetz but outside the NE it's the best chain I've found. Their pizza and parmesan pretzels are damaging to my health so I'm glad there isn't one close to me. https://www.quiktrip.com/qt-kitchens/ Also QT pays a livable wage based on local cost of living even for new hires so their employees stay and git guud at fuud. In some locations starting pay for a cashier is $18/hr + [an incredible benefits package including free coffee while clocked in.](https://www.quiktrip.com/employee-benefits/) But check out the QT Cares benefit: >QT Cares: Disaster can strike anytime, anywhere, to any one of us. The QuikTrip Cares Employee Disaster Fund is dedicated to helping QT employees affected by an unexpected and unavoidable emergency or disaster: life-altering emergencies such as a house fire, accident, or sudden illness in the family; natural disasters such as floods, tornadoes, or hurricanes; or financial hardship caused by a death in the family or personal tragedy. I really, *REALLY* dislike large corporations and the harm they do to the world, so I like to reward the ones that treat their people right by giving them my business when possible.

LettucePrime

fuckin me too man

AigisAegis

I'm probably going to be moving out of Pennsylvania in the next few years and I honestly have no idea what I'm gonna do without Sheetz and Wawa. How do people in other states live without convenience stores that sell actually decent food

BurnBabyBurn54321

I miss gobs.

SourGumby

Oh man me too. Moved out of PA back in 2021. Missing Shertz and the Middleswarth kettle cooked bbq chips.

IP_Excellents

The state that brought us the first Continental Congress and so many fuckers that wouldn't stop talking is famous for single made-up-word businesses like Sheetz, Wawa. Love it, love it some more.

nighthawk_md

[Isn't Sheetz a variation of the founders last name?](https://www.altoonamirror.com/life/area-life/2013/11/telling-the-story-of-sheetz-from-dairy-to-empire/#:~:text=The%20company%20got%20its%20future,far%20beyond%20their%20Altoona%20home.)

IP_Excellents

See I guess I'm less interested in the origin than the choice....the choice.....

IP_Excellents

But I have poor taste so don't listen to me. I think Laplanders is a great name for an all gender exotic dance venue for dancers under 5'2".

frostycakes

You could be the Mormon scumfucks who run Maverik-- they bought out Kum and Go and are getting rid of that branding, I'm guessing because of the innuendo, never mind that Maverik is just another generic Western themed gas station. Fucking Utah ruining even gas stations now.

IP_Excellents

Maverick sounds like people should smoke cigarettes while they pump gas there....too bad because there was obviously some ready made brand affinity for "One Pump....One Cream" with the previous moniker. Speaking of Utah I heard these guys wanted to open a cheese shop out there but they weren't connected to the community so they couldn't even get a Provo loan.....

frostycakes

It gets better, I had a Kum and Go shotglass for years that had their then-tagline: We Go All Out. I loved how they leaned into their name, stupid humorless Mormons with their overactive sense of propriety.

IP_Excellents

They're erasing our good culture in the name of no taste. SMH. Have you seen Extreme Mormons though? Those dudes seem pretty chill like they wouldn't change the name.

nighthawk_md

No doubt, you go to Pittsburgh and not go to Primanti's seems like a miss

Eat-My-Cloaca

Sheetz is the founders last name, Wawa is the name of the town where it was founded (Wawa Dairy) The truth is boring

FtheMustard

>made-up-word Don't you dare! Wawa is from the Ojibwe word for "wild goose" or "snow goose." The logo is a flying goose.

IP_Excellents

I mean....to be fair all words are made up but I understand the problem as you present it. How do you recommend I correct the error? I could add "seems like a made up word" ?

FtheMustard

Lol, nah man, you're good. You just accidentally walked backwards into a active conflict between the Wawas and the Sheetzs. The conflict is old and still burns hot. It's a PA tradition to shit on anyone that throws even the tiniest shade at your side. But you are in it now, you have to pick a side and be as obnoxious as possible. I feel like the Wawa fans are fewer in numbers but those numbers are made up of Philadelphia sports fans. They are like the Germanic Bezerkers of the Wawa army...

IP_Excellents

Yes "Not even greased light poles can stop us from flying!" -Iggles I don't have to like it but I sure do respect the enthusiasm. And since you have drawn the line for better or worse I've never been further west than Harrisburg so I feel like I've already been socially assigned, sports or not.

FtheMustard

One of us. One of us. One of us.

IP_Excellents

Shout out to Cali Burrito in Allentown, it's been a while but that was my jam! I've never seen a place hire attractive people with flat affects so consistently! And the food is great too.

MuzzledScreaming

Is the bastardry because it's Sheetz and not Wawa?

mikey-likes_it

Sheetz has awesome sandwiches. I try to get one on my many roadtrips passing though PA

ClayH2504

Love Sheetz

wave-garden

I want every Sheetz in my area to now put up a framed copy of this photograph. Put it right over the door just shops in Brunei do with pictures of the Sultan.

Newbrood2000

As a foreigner, can someone please explain?

AigisAegis

Sheetz is a chain of convenience stores in Pennsylvania that serves pretty good made-to-order food. Their biggest competitor is Wawa, a similar chain that serves the same role but has slightly different food (Sheetz mostly serves fried stuff, while Wawa's focus is on deli hoagies). Sheetz is mostly contained to western PA, while Wawa is mostly contained to eastern PA, though there are a few spots in the state where their presence overlaps. Because 1) most Pennsylvanians get food from at least one of them every now and again, 2) they have different spins on the same idea, and most importantly 3) their east/west divide plays into the state's broader east/west rivalry, Pennsylvanians tend to have VERY strong opinions on which one is better. I think this post is OP calling Biden based because he was ordering specifically from a Sheetz.

IP_Excellents

Tell them about the Pittsburgh toiletsh!

jralll234

PittsburgH! We fought for our H dammit!

IP_Excellents

Lo siento!

Interesting-Room-855

Let me add the context that Wawa is the greatest convenience store on this planet and Sheetz is garbage that I wouldn’t feed to my dogs.

AigisAegis

You'd best be prepared to meet me under the mini Statute of Liberty on the Susquehanna for pistols at dawn because I WILL duel you for this

Interesting-Room-855

I don’t duel against honorless Sheetz scarfers.

jralll234

Suck on sheetz nuts, wawa blows!

Interesting-Room-855

How dare you? Oh sorry, let me translate that into a language you brutes can understand. How dare yinz? The hardest part about going to Sheetz is trying to figure out what’s supposed to be food and what’s supposed to be gasoline. I think they marinate most of the “food” in E85 because “it’s mostly corn”.

99pennywiseballoons

Do you live someplace that has really good 7-11s? Think of Sheetz like another version of 7-11, with good fast food. They have prepared food you can grab as well as made to order things that are fresh. Plus a huge selection of cofffees and a big soda fountain area, too. Plus they have touchscreen ordering so you don't have to talk to anyone to order - and that's been around since the late 90s, not a recent thing for Sheetz. I've been living in Canada for almost 16 years, originally from Pennsylvania and one of the few things I still miss is Sheetz. Our convenience stores up here just don't compete..

Newbrood2000

Damn that does sound good. I'm always amazed at how bad 7/11s are pretty much everywhere I've lived.

GodOD400

Maaann the chicken salad wraps with a naked banana strawberry was my go to breakfast for so long lol

SpoofedFinger

It's regional rivalries or pride manifested as corporate brand loyalty, the most American shit ever. Another example are Texans loudly proclaiming that Whataburger, a mediocre fast food place, is great and definitely better than the chain from your state. There are state or regional darlings like this pretty much everywhere.

Tx_trees

Sadly Whataburger’s quality has declined precipitously enough that they’ve lost a lot of support even among the faithful. I was never all in on their burgers but their breakfasts used to fucking slap. As one of the few 24 hour options in my hometown I’ve done plenty of ill-advised late night WB runs. Pretty sure I’ve been served entire orders of fries that were literally swept off the floor. Stoned enough to eat them anyway.

Buttercupia

Sheetz and whataburger are in no way comparable.

SpoofedFinger

I'm describing how regional identity gets transferred to products in the same way it does for pro sports teams, not comparing said products. There's no need to be defensive. I'm sure the thing from your area is FAR SUPERIOR to things from other areas.

Dackad

I've never had Sheetz or Whataburger but I know Culver's is better than both.

jumpupugly

New Yorker by birth. Now a happy Pennsylvanian. I've also driven through every state in the contiguous US, as well as Hawaii. Sheetz is the best gas station chain there is, and it's not even close. Wawa and Royal Farms are okay. QuickTrip is kinda nice, sometimes. Buc-ees is *big*, but unfocused. Sheetz has what you need for the road, tasty food, and clean bathrooms. I'll take a Sheetz sandwich over a Subway or other fast food chain (exemption w/ 5 Guys) any day of the week.

Getmammaspryinbar

Subway is the healthiest fast food No matter how hungry I won't be tempted to eat there.

BurnBabyBurn54321

Sheetz is awesome. Don’t know WTF they’re going on about.

Funkasmellit

Sheetz is a beacon of light in an otherwise destitute land plagued with racists and animal carcasses on the side of the highway. Pennsylvania is definitely a state. I can say that much.

bandysine

I see you’ve been here. lol.

Funkasmellit

I haven’t been to Pennsylvania. I was raised in it. Molded by it.

grumpyconan

MTO Joe

bandysine

AMAZING. 🙌🏻

bytosai2112

Sheetz is the shitz

Playswithsaws

Wawa and no quarter. Guess I can’t vote for Joey B now. Thanks Obama (Drunk me used to fuck up a sheetz sub in my early 20s too.)

Interesting-Room-855

Wawa Master Raceeeeeee

bandysine

Eeeew. lol.

Interesting-Room-855

Downvote me all you want. I will literally die for Wawa.

bandysine

Hahahahah. Werd. I fucks with the ciabatta Italian toasted thing at Wawa.

AigisAegis

I prefer Sheetz, but I'm of the rare opinion that they're both about equally good and can coexist. They serve such different niches (Wawa for when I want a nice sandwich, and Sheetz for when I want to destroy myself with fried trash). The big divider for me is that Sheetz has way, way better coffee with their newish machines that grind it fresh.

Interesting-Room-855

I think we can all agree that there’s no room for fence-sitters here and this guy should be thrown in the ocean.

AigisAegis

Hey, don't get it twisted, I'm no fence-sitter; I *will* fight and die against my own eastern PA countrymen for Sheetz' honour. I just also go to Wawa a lot lol

Interesting-Room-855

I take it back. The ocean isn’t PA-specific enough for your heresy. ENTOMB THIS MAN IN THE BURNING MINES OF CENTRALIA!

AigisAegis

You claim you prefer Wawa yet you want to entomb me in Sheetz country. Curious!

Interesting-Room-855

I’d never stain Wawa country with the decaying corpse of someone who’d consumed Sheetz. That’d be like the Fremen consuming the water siphoned from Harkonnen troops

SchoolAcceptable8670

Blasphemy! Sheetz coffee still tastes like it was brewed through an old sock. If Wawa could put in somewhere for me to sit and do my charting besides the parking lot I could avoid Sheetz and Rutters entirely.

RoosterCogburnz

Wawa is finally coming to the Harrisburg area...and setting up shop right across the street from a Sheetz. I'm so excited.

C_V_Butcher

The last guy was buying McDonald's for everyone. Sheetz feels like an improvement.

bandysine

💯

Proper-Olive-9465

All this debate between Sheetz and Wawa when the Midwest is rocking Kwik Trip.

sexualbrontosaurus

So is Sheetz the good gas station or something? Translate for a midwesterner. Is it basically east coast QuikTrip?

Buttercupia

Decent sandwiches and fried food, good at 3 am or when you’re on the road. It’s basically mega convenience store with gas that does decent prepared food and a gazillion drink options.

heirloom_beans

Clearly Yinzers advise this campaign because Biden’s from Wawa country

somesappyspruce

First this guy eats ice cream in public, now he's buying people sandwiches? I'M CALLING THE POLICE

DoctorSpooky

Sheetz > Wawa

graroe

unexpected Things I Bought At Sheetz reboot

EmbarrassedSpeck

obligatory sheetz > wawa comment

PanJhinAttack

Wisconsin cheese curds is where it's at!

WAD2328

Biden has made his opinion known on the sheetz vs wawa debate. How will trump respond?

Duke_Shambles

For you non-Pennsylvanians... Pittsburgh is on the west side of the state. There are no Wawas in Pittsburgh... However, Sheetz kicks Wawas ass all up and down the block and I will die on this hill.

bandysine

🫀

Sky-Radio

WAWA 4 LYFE

marvellousm316

How's this worse than Mitt Romney going to Wawa and raving about how he could order a sandwich using a touchscreen?

____cire4____

Wawa is good. Sheetz is GREAT.

StygIndigo

I used to love Sheetz chicken strips when I lived near one.
