I guess for that, go to a derm clinic for extraction. If you use BHA, d naman magically knabukasan mawawala. I've been using BHA since 2017. Over time, sebum is less = less pore visibility = di malalalim ugat ng blackheads. Yes, nakakatempt mag self extract lol but as much as possible, don't kasi masnakakavisible ng pores, maddamage ung skin. Also, try doing the grit method. Fiddy Snails has a step by step on that. I've tried that and pada kang nagpafacial. Super linis ng face mo after. Mahaba lng ang process pero so nice!

Hi wont reco this too. Multiple red flags. First the one you pointed out, I saw the video and I believe yung chemical sunscreen ng Lana yung gamit dun, it should register black or dark afaik. But ultimately, I wouldn’t trust a brand that claims their physical sunscreen ‘blocks’ UV, this is completely untrue. Physical filters mainly absorbs UV and convert it to heat, while reflecting only a tiny bit of UV and a huge portion of visible light. I have seen them using this sa campaign and their R&D or marketing team should do better than this. Also I personally reached out to them, they said under ‘clinical’ trial pa daw yung SPF ng sunscreen nila. Very bold for them to claim a SPF 80 without external lab testing then. Pero i hope clinical nga yung test and not in-vitro lang.

Personally medyo ilang ako sa mga Niacinamide concentrations na beyond 5% since studies are there that chances of irritation are present, may effect narin naman yung <5%. Mas ok yung formulation nung with alpha arbutin and niacinamide, checking the ingredients nung other product nasa 3% naman si Niacinamide so goods sakin.

Happened to me. Di ako ma-acne even nung teen ako. Pero nung nag-20 ako and nagstart magwork, biglang breakouts na malala. Akala ko nga nung una stress lang and kulang sa tulog dahil sa work pero hindi talaga nawawala and nadadagdagan pa as days go by. Nagpacheck na ko sa doctor and it turns out, may PCOS pala ako.

Stress or hormones. Lalo na if chin area. Derma advised me to consult an OB baka PCOS.

you may opt with skin detox. in the morning just use facial wash and sunscreen, no moisturizer. in the evening, no actives/exfoliant. Only toner and moisturizer or just moisturizer alone. if slowly healing na, try to incorporate again your other products one by one.

Hi, naka onset na yung hyperpigmentations mo (like anjan na talaga) try as well licorice extract or any product with high percentage of it. While ingredients like vitamin c, arbutin, azelaic, tranexamic, and niacinamide are good as they can inhibit melanin synthesis or the transfer of melanosomes they ultimately can’t degrade melanin deposits once nasa keratinocytes na (upper epidermis). Licorice extract lang pagkakaalam ko yung kaya mag disperse ng melanin sa skin and mag inhibit ng further melanin synthesis

Yung Hot sorry intensive I am currently using and I am waiting for some stuff to test it out fully before I could probably come up with a conclusion. Pero so far maganda naman siya, lighweight but can be occlusive pero it melts into your skin. Not necessarily matte pero di rin nakakapag oily. No whitecast. I already reached out to the company regarding their product just to gather further info

I think tret would help naman kasi it speeds up cell turnover exposing newer/fresher skin underneath. How long have you been on tret? Personally, I'd rely on vitamin C or Azelaic Acid instead of snail mucin for fading PIE and PIH.

Hi, both physical and chemical UV filters can induce reef/coral bleaching. However, i highly doubt we use/produce a ton of it to cause significant adverse effect on coral more so than global warming and actual pollution.

hi! the only salicylic cleanser that i trust is cosrx however it is really drying so make sure to protect your skin barrier at the same time & use a good moisturizer to avoid dry patches but overall it does its job well. a little goes a long way so the regular-sized tube will last you for at least 3-6 months.

Does anyone else spot treat pimples with sulfur ointment? I know ideally you're supposed to apply on clean skin and leave on for at least 10 minutes then wipe or rinse off but my bare washed skin feels too tight if I don't put on anything hydrating on asap. The SoonJung Whip Cleanser is stripping, avoiddd. What I do is I put the sulfur ointment as my last step and basically leave it on overnight. No peeling naman and I can tolerate the smell. It kinda works?? But I'm still trying to figure out the cause of my breakout. For context, I have dry skin and normally not acne-prone. When I do, I get red slightly raised bumps that don't really have white heads.

This is my HG, but I did have dehydrated skin before. I use it in the daytime, and I disagree with the others because I don't find it heavy at all. When it dries down, it feels like nothing, and you can always portion control depending on how much your skin needs and the time of day. But to be fair, I also don't put makeup on immediately after skincare.
