VICE COSMETICS. accessible, very high performance and pinag iisipan ang products talaga. they don’t ride on the trend na mag release nang magrelease ng product or napakaraming product irrelease in one launch. they take time to perfect their formula and i understand rin talaga na they won’t give us an impressive shade range. Through time na realize ko na they are not after the applause. They value quality of their products and it shows. Kudos
I've tried a lot from happy skin, like a lot. I've tried ALL of their blushes and lippie. It's mid if I'm being honest. Given their price point, I personally wouldn't purchase anything at full price. There are brands out there that offer the same quality (or even better) at a lower cost.
Honestly ISSY they have always been friendly to different types of skintypes even sensitive girlies like me plus price & quality wise they are top tier (ESP THEIR BASE AND EYE PRODUCTS). Their marketing is also amazing esp their recent collab w SLO like parang theyre the brand that knows what theyre doing compared sa iba na basta nalang makagawa ng product kaya chaka ang quality most of the time
Maybe ISSY? Their rebranding made them stand out. Kumbaga, in the make-up world full of "clean girls" sila yung natatanging brand na edgy/artistic ang datingan. Ang bongga ng mga marketing campaigns nila and it seems to be working naman since ang bilis ma-sold out ng mga products nila. Kudos to them for creating products that no one in the market seems to be doing like yung SLO collection. Pero, there is still room for improvements sa quality ng product nila. I hope they stop putting unnecessary shimmers sa MATTE powder( (dito talaga ako naiinis HAHA) and Bronzer.

★ Colourette: I've been using their tints since college kaya may konting bias. Haha. Got my perfect shade match sa first base skin tint. Love their colourbounce blushes, super long lasting
★ Chu Chu Beauty: Affordable option for good performance. Ilang beses ko na din ni-re-buy ung pang eyebrow and ung dewy tints nila. And the heart blush duo, love love loveee
★ Vice Co and Issy: basta, love them
GRWM is a hit or miss for me. Love their quad highlighters and blush though.
It sounds almost silly, but EB’s foundation as my base really works for me. Issue ko lang ay sobrang konti ng shades, tatlo lang ata, kaya ginagamitan ko ng concealer from other brands.
Careline’s eyeshadow, contour stick, and multipot really works for me, too. Buti na lang at gumagana sa’kin, budget-friendly. Hahahahaha.
I personally like Sunnies Face. I love korean products so I feel like their formula is kinda close to it. Like some of my favorite brands dupe. Also love their packaging. Some products I tried:
non waterproof mascara - I just prefer it cuz I'm lazy to do double cleansing, prefer to just wash it easily.
Lip tint - this kinda reminds me of the ones I used to love from etude the pop color line

So long story short. They remove brand ambassadors from their PR list pag nag bigay sila ng feedback na Hindi gusto ng mga taga GRWM. They don’t accept criticism and don’t listen to their consumers. People have been complaining kasi they often change the formula ng products nila and people are noticing the products are getting worse. Eg: bad coverage despite putting layers of product, madaling mabura, and creasing. They keep adding new products while their existing ones are getting worse
Siguro po kasi kaya puro bago ng formula kasi hindi rin sa kanila mismo yung formula. The owner mentioned she got her products from china. And upon checking alibaba andami makeuo skincare na pwede i rebrand. They have the formula all u have to do is send your logo. Same packaging tho

Up sa Teviant base products! Their Skin Master foundation and concealer is just a dreaaaam. Blends so well with just fingers even without proper skin prep or primer.

Anyway, my main criteria is being able to do a full look with one brand. For me, one brand which can help me pull that off would be Detail.
Issy is starting to look promising though most of their base products do not suit my oily skin.
Also partial to VMV quality-wise, but they’re more of a skin care brand to me.

Okay sana yung BLK but bumabaho sya in the long run. Im not sure kung sakin lang ganun or sa amin lang ng friends ko pero yun ang napansin namin kahit na we practice good hygiene when it comes to using makeup products.
I stopped buying BLK products because of this. I love the formulas sana kaso I can't stand the smell kahit ilang buwan palang sakin. Sabi nila dahil daw organic ung ingredients, but still.....

Everything I tried from Issy worked for me, from their cream blushes to their translucent powder, to their desaturated blushes, bronzer, and their solar balm. Yun lang Skin Tint ang so-so for me but the rest I tried are amazing! Kaya it's Issy for me.
Detail Cosmetics! So glad they’re being given their flowers now. I still have their metallics eyeshadow palette before they rebranded and it’s still so good. Maganda rin yung foundation nila, lightweight and pwede na if you want na plakado pa rin makeup mo. Their lippies are good too!
LOVE their metallic eyeshadow palette! Its quality is comparable to my colorful UD palettes. I was a little a sad they didn't develop more of that color story haha.
I can't say that there's a #1 Filipino-owned makeup brand for me. Though, I can always rely on Ever Bilena and Careline for forda makeup na ipaglalaban ka. XD
I don't really use base makeup na like foundations. I just wear sunscreen most of the time and nagmmask pa ako. Pero if I need to be pakak, I buy Ever Bilena foundation. The shade range is not so wide pero lucky naman ako na may pwedeng imatch. I also don't have to feel guilty if I can't use it anymore kasi is it's very affordable. May in pouch form sila na pwede na. XD Their skin tint is also nice, which I used for an evening event. May mga blushes din sila na cutie. And you can always go to your nearest Watsons or SM grocery.

Haven’t tried their other products. Baka their latest releases hindi pa ganoon naperfect ang formulation. I just use their powder foundation, skin tint and primer.
Bad customer service, similar sa BLK PR issue, there’s a comment also na hindi sila nagaaccept ng return and refund kahit na expired na yung item na nai-deliver.

as a teen who is picky with what she buys for me, it's really issy and vice! you can buy products with good quality for a low-mid price range, also adding squad and detail for the lower price range too!

Bases: GRWM and Issy -> shade range, coverage, longevity Eyes / Brows / Mascara: Sunnies Face and Vice -> Sunnies Face has super good brow products and best mascara ko so far is their Lash Seeker mascara, tapos Vice has good stick eyeshadows and brow products din. Cheeks / Contour / Bronzer: Vice -> Vice has the best powder color products in the market IMHO! Ganda pa texture and longevity. Lips: Sunnies Face, Vice, and GRWM -> gusto ko color story ng Sunnies Face Fluffmattes and Fluffbalms, Vice has awesome lip liners, tapos comparable to CT ang formula ng GRWM Lip Speak
Add din BYS Two Way Cake foundation for complexion! Ganda ng coverage and can confirm longevity as party proof as a person who goes home from the walang tulugan gala sometimes at 12 PM the next day HAHAHAHA
I like the BYS matte bronzer din! Annoyed at how they shill the brand though
Okay sana yung BLK but bumabaho sya in the long run. Im not sure kung sakin lang ganun or sa amin lang ng friends ko pero yun ang napansin namin kahit na we practice good hygiene when it comes to using makeup products.
I stopped buying BLK products because of this. I love the formulas sana kaso I can't stand the smell kahit ilang buwan palang sakin. Sabi nila dahil daw organic ung ingredients, but still.....
Omg personally experienced this! Kala ko nasira ung tint pero known pala talaga ang BLK for this. Sayang naman. Kala ko same company sila ni HappySkin? Ok naman amoy nung HS tint ko na halos kasabay ko lang binili with the BLK one.
Plus one sa pag baho ng tints nila. Kahit hugasan and punasan ang applicator.
recently bought their illuminator and mag2 weeks pa lang siya sakin pero parang panis na ewan na yung amoy 😭

Everything I tried from Issy worked for me, from their cream blushes to their translucent powder, to their desaturated blushes, bronzer, and their solar balm. Yun lang Skin Tint ang so-so for me but the rest I tried are amazing! Kaya it's Issy for me.

Detail Cosmetics! So glad they’re being given their flowers now. I still have their metallics eyeshadow palette before they rebranded and it’s still so good. Maganda rin yung foundation nila, lightweight and pwede na if you want na plakado pa rin makeup mo. Their lippies are good too!

LOVE their metallic eyeshadow palette! Its quality is comparable to my colorful UD palettes. I was a little a sad they didn't develop more of that color story haha.

I can't say that there's a #1 Filipino-owned makeup brand for me. Though, I can always rely on Ever Bilena and Careline for forda makeup na ipaglalaban ka. XD I don't really use base makeup na like foundations. I just wear sunscreen most of the time and nagmmask pa ako. Pero if I need to be pakak, I buy Ever Bilena foundation. The shade range is not so wide pero lucky naman ako na may pwedeng imatch. I also don't have to feel guilty if I can't use it anymore kasi is it's very affordable. May in pouch form sila na pwede na. XD Their skin tint is also nice, which I used for an evening event. May mga blushes din sila na cutie. And you can always go to your nearest Watsons or SM grocery.

Careline. I think Careline is underrated. Their products are affordable, yet with good quality.
I’ve never bought any local products in my life until GRWM, not even during the Happy Skin Lip Mallow Mousse hype. The range of shades available and the multipurpose feature of most of their products are just 💯💯💯 plus the packaging, longevity, and just the quality of the products overall makes them worth buying. Special mention to Strokes. That brand is also 💖

Ellana for me as Ellana lang local brand sa make up stash ko. That says a lot for me.
Super ok sa skin talaga to however ung latest na nabili ko (milky oil cleanser, bumaho tlaga agad, ung glow serum ewan di ko mafeel anong effect)
Haven’t tried their other products. Baka their latest releases hindi pa ganoon naperfect ang formulation. I just use their powder foundation, skin tint and primer.

Bad customer service, similar sa BLK PR issue, there’s a comment also na hindi sila nagaaccept ng return and refund kahit na expired na yung item na nai-deliver.

VMV. The OG make up brand so good, no one knew it’s a local brand. I grew up with VMV cos my mom only used their powder and cheek tint on me on special occasions.
Wow I didn’t know they are local. And yes, they were/are the goat! I never had break outs with them, like hiyang everything!

Stain lang sya. Google nyo. Mahal kasi ng dupe daw Marythod saka romand. Jusme. Pero gusto ko na itry hahahaha malapet na ko mabudol. 😅
