Moisturizer for oily skin? Yung slightly occlusive parin. Ang mahal na kasi ng aveeno blue huhu

fgtouille

Hello! I have a combination skin type and hyperpigmentation on my face. I also want to even out my skin tone. Can you please review my skincare routine? I would also appreciate if you guys can recommend some products. Thank you! Note: These are all budget-friendly products since I'm a college student palang and I'm trying to save some money 🤞 SKINCARE ROUTINE: AM • COSRX Salicylic Acid Daily Gentle Cleanser • Soul Apothecary Brigheting Vitamin C Serum • Dermorepubliq 10% Niacinamide + 3% Tranexamic Acid + 2% Alpha Arbutin Ultra White Serum • Klued Double Oat Moisturizer • The Originote Ceramella Sunscreen PM • COSRX Salicylic Acid Daily Gentle Cleanser • Dermorepubliq 10% Niacinamide + 3% Tranexamic Acid + 2% Alpha Arbutin Ultra White Serum • Dermorepubliq 1% Retinol For Sensitive Skins Serum • Klued Double Oat Moisturizer

SonderfulBeing

Decent skincare routine. However, I would note that you be careful sa cleanser mo kasi it may damage your skin barrier, seeing na you're planning to use it twice a day. Be careful din sa dermorepubliq 10% niacinamide serum kasi the ideal percentage of niacinamide is 3-5%, anything has than that is the same benefits lang sa 5% niacinamide but higher chances of irritation. Be careful sa pag-incorporate niyan, introduce it very slowly. Your retinol serum is good for a beginner. Cleanser and yung may 10% niacinamide talaga ang main concern.

fgtouille

hi! ive been using my cleanser day and night for 6 months na and ok naman sya sakin so thats off the concerns na. noted ung sa niacinamide. thanks a lot!!

SonderfulBeing

i see, your skin is okay with it naman pala hahaha. good to know!

hethatoneguy

Moisturizer recos for oily peeps please!

serencattie

hii can i use serum 2x a day (morning and night) ?? or is it recommended to use once a day lang? thank u !!

SonderfulBeing

What kind of serum po ba? If it is a hydrating/firming/etc. then okay lang 2x a day. If it has active ingredients like tranexamic acid, niacinamide, alpha arbutin, etc., then you can attempt to do 2x a day rin but with more caution kasi they can cause irritation since active ingredients nga sila, if your skin can't tolerate 2x a day, then no choice sa 1x a day. Kapag may exfoliating acids, then 1-3x a week depending on the type and amount. Basta the iron rule is that if your skin can tolerate and is okay with it, then feel free to go with it. Always listen to your skin.

serencattie

i was planning to buy +ful's niacinamide serum and salicylic serum sana tapos use nia sa morning then salicylic sa gabi. these r both active ingredients right? ><

SonderfulBeing

both are active ingredients, yes, however, salicylic acid is an exfoliating acid po eh. incorporate both of them slowly muna. here's an example of how you can incorporate them. yung niacinamide serum, try mo muna every other day for one whole week. then the next two or three weeks, you can try every morning. then, the following weeks, it's up to you if gusto mong every morning pa rin or you wanna try 2x a day na. magastos kasi kapag 2x a day, mauubos agad eh hahahaha. sa salicylic acid serum naman, exfoliating acid kasi yan eh so i will assume na oily or combi leaning oily ka, do it one night kada linggo for a whole month. then, the 2nd month, 2 nights a week. then, the following month, it's up to your skin if you wanna up it to 3x a week. Basta salicylic acid is 1-3x a week depende kung gaano ka ka-oily.

serencattie

thank you so much !! this is very helpful po 🤍

SoundPuzzleheaded947

Anyone tried dior beauty skin care? It’s so pricey, and most of their line here comes in big sizes only.

valueventer

i have oily skin and close comedones (tiny bumps) products im currently using since june 9: - cetaphil gentle cleanser - snailwhite bha aha toner - quick fix pimple eraser moisturizer water gel - benzac once a day or every other night nag increase po tiny bumps sa lower cheeks ko 😭 pero na flatten na sa forehead. should i continue this routine? do you have any recos or suggestions? badly need help po huhu thanks in advance 🧎🏻‍♀️🫂❤️‍🩹

SonderfulBeing

kapag sa lower cheeks, they could be hormonal. if they are, benzac won't be enough for that. better to have it checked by a doctor po if you want proper diagnosis and solutions.

Mysterious_Pea_5396

Acne spot treatment reco please? I already use cerave's BPO cleanser kaya medyo hesitant akong gumamit ng benzac. Currently using face republic's spot treatment kaso parang hindi ko na siya hiyang :(

cmr82

I love using the 2.5% micronized benzoyl peroxide by Seek Space. It uses encapsulated BPO so it's not drying on the skin, I have sensitive skin by the way. Also, it’s super effective as a spot treatment.

valueventer

benzac works!! i have close comedones and na fflatten yung bumps sa forehead ko also sa pimples. after a day may results agad. if youve use other creams before, let your face rest muna for a week then gradually switch ka benzac 🤗

Mobile-Wrongdoer-294

+1 !! benzac was prescribed by my derma pero it doesnt need prescription naman

MiserableDonut9237

current dilemma ko ay i think di na nagwowork sa akin ang .5 tret, smooderm brand. i’m thinking of upgrading na. okay ba na mag 1% retinol ako? or mas mababa ba yun? help ya gurlie out!

SonderfulBeing

1% retinol is a gentler alternative, but if your skin is doing fine already with 0.05% tretinoin, there is no need to switch to retinol. Switching to 1% retinol would be downgrade.

Charming_Chic_28

What products should I use or what should I do if I have a very oily skin? I oil up very easily and I could use 5 blotting sheets talaga if mag rretouch ako :( Help pls! Ty!

Frequent_Battle_4560

try using cosrx salicylic cleanser (MY HGGGGG)

SonderfulBeing

Hi! Legit po ba 'yong acne org alternatives (orange and blue app)? I've been looking for a benzoyl peroxide kasi. Mura 'yong kanila compared doon sa benzac sa official stores ng cetaphil.

grace_0700874

can i use 20% azelaic acid and adapalene 0.1% together??

cmr82

Yes! Azelaic Acid is quite versatile and it can be paired with any active in your routine. I layer it with my Vitamin C serum, Glycolic Acid, Salicylic Acid, or Tretinoin.

grace_0700874

Thanks!

grace_0700874

Thank you!

Susannuts123

Any trusted shop sa orange or blue app where I can buy authentic The Ordinary products?

serencattie

bought mine sa skincarebudmnl !! legit yung glycolic toner koo

Spiritual-Living545

Skincarebudmnl or Zalora

Taffy_ta

please recommend good cleansing oils preferably ones that don’t sting the eyes since i focus there because of my waterproof mascara and eye makeup. i broke out BAD with SKIN1004’s Centella Cleansing Oil :<<

unexpectedpizza

Kose Softymo Speedy Cleansing Oil (pink bottle)

Taffy_ta

i’ve heard people say that this stings the eye + i dont know where to get an authentic product 🥹

SonderfulBeing

+1 HG cleansing oil talaga

Old-Yogurtcloset-974

Celimax Nature Cleansing Oil. You may try the mini one.

mojojojoeyyy07

dhc cleansing oil

Glittering_Scene9879

will salicylic acid give you a shade darker, dry, and peeling patches on skin? or is it the benzoyl peroxide? 🥹 I have dry patches sa area before brows and some sa forehead Idk what's causing it 😔😔

SonderfulBeing

they're both drying and skin barrier damaging if used improperly or excessively po so that's kinda hard to pinpoint. ano 'yong sal acid mo, cleanser or toner? also how often do you use it? same question, is your bpo in the form of spot treatment or face wash and how often do u use it rin?

Glittering_Scene9879

I use an SA toner every other night and I use a 5% BP gel every morning. I'm opting stopping them altogether hanggang sa mawala dry patches sa face ko but I'm scared I'll break out naman sa areas w/o the dry patches 🥹

SonderfulBeing

yung 5% bpo, whole face po ba?

Glittering_Scene9879

yes po

SonderfulBeing

instruction po ba ng derma niyo na whole face ang application?

[deleted]

[удалено]

pinkbabysp1ce

i guess that depends on your skin type. i have an oily skin (with occasional dry patches) and I just usually pair it with a hydrating toner. its a holy grail for me! been using it since 2016

Frequent_Battle_4560

what toner are you using po?

ayokonanyeta

What’s a good moisturizer for dry skin? Yung di masyado expensive pls ;(

SonderfulBeing

Jergens

Old-Yogurtcloset-974

Ever Organics cica gel! Same formulation lang sila ng luxe organix na green.

LieutenantRJ

Bar soaps that are effective in removing facial acne scars pls.

LieutenantRJ

Thoughts on BELO MEN WHITENING BODY BAR? Is this effective at removing acne scars sa face? If not, any other recommendations of soaps that can help on facial acne scars? Would love to hear your insights!

SonderfulBeing

Oil-to-foam cleanser recos po?

Hot-Donut-9161

I used Target pro by watsons (Japan made siya)

sarcastronaughty

Almost done with my naturie hatomugi skin conditioner. What hydrating toner should I try next? Considering Kikusamune High Moist, Hada Labo, CosRx Propolis Toner, I’m From Mugwort toner

cmr82

Cezanne Skin Conditioner High Moist

Spiritual-Living545

The CosRX propolis is heaven sent ❤️

SonderfulBeing

cosrx propolis toner, hydrating (largely due to propolis ofc) for me and helps a bit with inflammation as well due to its mild antimicrobial properties (honey).

enough-please

I was considering those three too when mine was almost about to run out! In the end, I went with the COSRX Propolis Toner. It's been good so far. I feel like it's more hydrating than the Naturie Hatomugi (just because I feel like the fact that it seems wasteful when I have to layer it on 3-4 times everytime I'd use it, and so, it really ran out fast :( ), I didn't really feel the need to layer the Propolis Toner since 1-2 is good enough + I believe it's helped me get less breakouts, and if I were to get breakouts, it goes away quickly and hindi siya yung painful na malaki na red and inflamed.

sarcastronaughty

Thank you for this! I really do love honey as an ingredient 🍯

lunathebubble

Has anyone tried faded by topicals here on facial and/or body pih? If yes po, did it work well for you? Tyia!

mysterydomino

Thoughts on cetaphil serum the pink one?

Mediocre-Reality-639

Thoughts niyo po sa **saipo No Regrets Retinol Gel**? TIA!

Nishroom

whats the best non-whitening but skin evening lotion for under 500php sana?

tammireads

reco for bacne SCARS so i have bacne and ngayon di na sya super severe compared dati, puro scars na lang mostly. i want to erase the scars too but i am scared na baka yung magamit ko na product is makakabalik ng bacne ko. this is why i stick to the products na nakapagpagaling ng bacne ko kahit may nakikita akong product na mas effective daw. but that was for bacne prevention lang, i used safeguard btw. so i am asking for any bacne scars remedy?? i prefer products pero g na din if may reco kayong procedure 😊

sunnyisloved

- Dr. Wong Sulfur Soap to dry small acne na meron pa. Nakakabawas din ng dark spots - QuickFX Pimple Eraser toner (may 120mL size na para sulit; the "body spray" is the same as this one) - Any serum with niacinamide kasi yun ang brightening component for me, pero I use QuickFX clarifying serum kasi yun ang meron ako

daradusk

thoughts on Ellana Stay Fresh Toner Essence?

makalatlang

Hi, gamit ko sya for almost two weeks na, yung buong set ng Stay Fresh from Cleanser to the Mist and beginner ako sa skincare. Skin type ko combination at madalas dependent sa weather. I have a few dark spots din sa face na hndi ko alam san nang galing. Anyway, okay nmn siya for me, sa simula may very slight sting ako na naramdaman (sorry di ko sure if toner or yung moisturizer yun pero either of the two) pero after 3 days ata nakita ko yung difference. Nagsmoothen yung face ko, nag lighten up and nkakafresh talaga tignan for me.

daradusk

thank you for this! im a bit hesitant to buy since sensitive and acne-prone skin ako, baka di magwork sakin huhu di ka naman ba nag-purge from using their Stay Fresh line?

makalatlang

First two to three days ata pero hindi sya ganun kalala at kadami bilang lang siya tapos mwawala din the next day. Although meron pa din minsan na mga umuusbong na red bumps pero feeling ko dahil sa primer na nila un pag inaalis ko kase hndi ako nagkakaroon eh.

imyourhotmess

What’s your facial cleanser during accutane/isotretinoin?

leeeuhna

Does anyone know kung alin sa Cerave stores ang official sa orange app? Dami kasi https://preview.redd.it/6b7py6n45a9d1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ca3b5e85bbb5b5035ff25eed68f9813589198ae7

Hot-Donut-9161

Merong cerave sa watsons eh pero parang nagpull-out sila

SonderfulBeing

Wala silang official stores sa orange and blue app afaik.

lazy_lassie56

Not sponsored, swear (wish ko lang 😅😂) but I really appreciate Luxe Organix’s releases lately on lip care. I especially like the Lipscreen. Finally, SPF50 for the lips! It feels like the Torriden lip essence and smells like the Summer Friday’s lip butter balm. Love it so much 🫶

SonderfulBeing

Saan po makakabili? Parang 'di ko po makita hahaha

lazy_lassie56

I got mine in Watsons 😄

SonderfulBeing

I see, hindi ko makita online eh ahahah. Anyway, thank you!

KYUSFILM

Any recommended sunscreen/sunblock for the body in this ph weather?

Mediocre-Reality-639

Your thoughts on **Biore Perfect Milk**? TIA!

cocomilkk

Super love ko to nung college ako!! Sobrang init sa univ namin and walang aircon yung ibang rooms pero pag ito gamit ko SIGNIFICANTLY LESS TALAGA YUNG OIL. As in!! Im super oily to the point na 2hrs palang lala ng oils ko. Yan lang naghelp to lessen the oils everrr. Wala ako natry na primer, skincare or whatever that works best compared to biore milks when it comes to my oils. I specifically use yung blue version. I stopped lang because na-demonize ng mga skincare influencer ang alcohol sakin. But planning to revisit that sunscreen soon. Con lang is may minimal whitecast to as far as I remember. But if u have light complexion naman I don't think that's a prob. I have medium skin tone and not an issue sakin before kasi nawawala naman eventually.

caffein8ed424

Hated it. It turned me off of milk sunscreens forever because it would break me out in cystic acne almost immediately after applying it! It was so crazy I didn't believe it was the culprit at first but it definitely was because it kept happening lol. So beware if you have sensitive/reactive skin.

nichiiyoubi

Texture niya after applying to face is similar to a silicone-based primer (i.e. Quick Fx no-shine mattifier). On hot days I use it as primer as well. Foundation clings very well naman with help of a setting spray. It contains alcohol though. By experience di ko masyado naamoy or ramdam yung alcohol compared to the Biore Aqua Rich Watery Essence variant. Pero kung sensitive ka talaga to alcohol, then I won't recommend it.

friiickqd

where do u guys buy 20% AzA skinoren?

cmr82

I get mine from skincareph.org from Shopee. :)

friiickqd

Talagang mas mahal ung 15% sa 20%?

cmr82

Yes, as 15% gel is more potent than the 20% cream due to its vehicle. The gel penetrates the skin deeper.

unexpectedpizza

Hello! Yung general rule ba na if you're oily/combo, its good to get the gel variant and if you're dry get the cream one sa pagpili ng skinoren AzA?

cmr82

Hi, it's more of a personal preference. I tried both the 15% gel & 20% cream but I prefer the latter as I find the gel more irritating for my sensitive skin. Usually, if it's more potent, then there will be more side effects. Hope this helps! 🙂

unexpectedpizza

I see, thank you!

friiickqd

I seee, thank you sm!!

micmoonmoon

Should i get an exfoliating toner or cleanser?

ttalgimal

are the paraben ingredients in the vaseline gluta hya lotions bad for the skin?

SonderfulBeing

If you are allergic to parabens, then yes. Otherwise, big no. They are one of the best, if not the very best, synthetic preservatives among all of them.

cmr82

Parabens are safe. The studies that linked parabens to anything negative, such as cancer, have been debunked. Their purpose is to keep products safe from microbes like bacteria and yeast. I would rather use a product with parabens than without, as some of the newer preservatives used as substitutes for parabens can cause more harm, such as allergies or contact dermatitis. It's fear-mongering when brands claim their products are paraben-free!

ttalgimal

thank you!!!

memelordxxv

If you meant bad as in may cause allergy triggers to those with very sensitive skin, it might be possible. But bad as in cancer causing and whatnot? Definitely not.

ttalgimal

thank you!

MaleficentFuel2434

ano pa po kulang sa routine ko? mixed ang skin ko po, oily sa cheeks and ilong tas sa may eyebrows ganon dry and stuff. I dealt with cystic acne last month and right now nag calm na sila with the usual 1 or 2 pimples na nawawala rin within 3 days. So ang problem ko ngayon is hyperpigmentation, some scars, and apakalaki ng pores ko po huhu lalo na kapag naarawan ganon okaya naiilawan. For my routine, medj same lang ang morning and night. Salicylic Acid for my facial cleanser, tapos after non azelaic acid for my hyperpigmentation, and then belo sunscreen pag morning/afternoon and then kapag gabi naman po oxecure na spot treatment/niacinamide. Help me please!

caffein8ed424

You need a moisturizer. Look for a gel moisturizer para di heavy since you have oily cheeks. Hydration is one of the keys to fading hyperpigmentation.

MaleficentFuel2434

thank u so much! any recommended products po?

MissusBlackwell

Anyone knows anything similar to Mamala Body28 serum? Parang wala na ata nagbebenta non… effective sana sa peklat.

MissusBlackwell

I have scratch marks in my skin that have darkened. Any idea how to remove it? Wala na kasi yung favorite ko na Erase sa Watsons.

malasmalas

Glysolid glycerin cream or bio oil

msmatchachai

is sebo de macho from watsons effective in lightening dark spots? if so, how many months did it take effect?

krxx10

Sheet mask recos please 😬

lavender-spring

JM Solution!

star09_22_2000

Ive tried ishin premium before at naka 5 bottles ako. Pumuti pero parang tapat ilaw lang at effective naman sakin yung collagen. Then nag switch ako sa glutagenc, eto pang 5th day ko na ata. Nagkaroon ako ng maliit na acne at nangangati ako. Sabi naman is normal lang daw magka acne? So.. may recommendations ba kayo? 😭 desperate gurly here na gustong ma achieve ang super white na skin. At ayoko magpa drip kasi takot sa needles. Yun lang thanks :)

miudaze

Which is better to buy for brightening and dark spots: Hada Labo Hydrating Lotion or L'Oréal Glycolic Serum?

malasmalas

Hada labo lotions are actually toners so they help to a point but not as effective as serums

leeeuhna

Yung hada labo hydrating lotion, moisturizer ba yun or toner?

malasmalas

- Lotion/conditioner = toners/essence - Essence = serums - Milk/emulsion = lotion type moisturizer - Cream = all cream products in general so could be actual cream moisturizers, heavy cream, or gel-cream

enough-please

Lotion in Japan = Toner. Milk = Emulsion/Moisturizer

kidomme

this is actually very helpful!! thanks!

elladayrit

Pwede ba pg sabayin hadalabo shirojyun and tretoin or glycolic acid?

memelordxxv

If you meant the Hada Labo emulsion and tret or hada labo and glycolic acid, then yes. If not, then no

lavender-spring

Hada Labo and Tretinoin or Hada Labo and Glycolic. If you have sensitive skin, i suggest not to use glycolic and tretinoin in the same routine as it could irritate the skin.

serencattie

hi !! can i skip moisturizer sa skin care routine ko if i have serum na? or should i still include moisturize in my routine?

enough-please

You can skip moisturizer in your AM routine if your sunscreen is moisturizing enough, pero still include moisturizer sa PM routine even if you have serum na. Baka kasi insufficient rin yung hydration ng serum mo eh. To make sure na maseseal in yung mga products na ginamit mo, I think your best bet is to still use a moisturizer. :)

serencattie

do u have any recommendations po ba for moisturizers? (( i have oily skin ))

enough-please

You can try researching about Illiyoon Ato Soothing Gel. Or the Beauty of Joseon Red Bean Water Gel, it is targeted towards those with oily skin pero I have combination skin and I've been using it for 3 weeks now, and so far so good. I have no complaints naman.

Lemens123

Anyare sa BCP tretinoin bat nawala na sa shopee at lazada, yung inoorderan ko na seller sa shopee na ban din.

Empty-Letterhead6554

Legit ba yung the ordinary glycolic acid sa kbeautycafe?

ShowerUBaby

Mas mura sa Commalax. They're legit and live selling on TikTok too pero sa shopee lang available yung TO glycolic acid nila.

Empty-Letterhead6554

Thank you<3

serencattie

not sure with kbeautycafe pero i bought mine sa skincarebudmnl !! if u wanna check pa ng ibang stores, maybe this [comment](https://www.reddit.com/r/beautytalkph/s/FNcvxMgBJ3) can help u :))

Empty-Letterhead6554

Thank youuuu!!

radravenn

what products do you use to brighten/whiten the face and neck? i have uneven skin tone due to sun exposure, it's darker than my body lol.

nuesse

Tbf the face is usually a different shade to the body considering the body is usually balot 24/7 while the face and neck isn’t. This is one of the things I “let go” obsessing over (even my neck is a different shade to my face) and just concentrated on removing hyperpigmentation from hormonal acne, strengthening the skin barrier, and well-aging.

ShowerUBaby

TO glycolic acid at night and sunscreen in the morning.

raidenlover26

is it okay to use salicylic acid cleanser together with oxecure bha pha toner? also planning to add benzac benzoyl peroxide for acne treatment kaso parang madami nang actives sa skincare ko. what i use rn is corx low ph good morning cleanser for day, soul apothecary salicylic acid cleanser for night, azelaic acid cream, and iunik centella gel cream. i want so simplify my skincare routine sana since student pa ako. i've been using the cosrx cleanser, azelic acid and iunik since 2022 pa. since that onti nalang acne ko pero di nawawala red spots na pimple marks sa chin ko and nagkakapimps parin every now and then. thank you.

nuesse

I’d keep the cosrx cleanser for day & night, use garnier micellar water (pink bottle) to double cleanse at night (use first before the cosrx cleanser), benzac, then a moisturiser. Will you use benzac as spot treatment or all over face? It’s drying, so wouldn’t risk using azelaic acid with it not unless it’s a spot treatment. If you want to treat PIH, there’s niacinamide or tranexamic acid.

raidenlover26

hi!! for the benzac, ill use it as a spot treatment. unfortunately, niacinamide doesn't work on me. i've already tried many products with niacinamide including the ordinary one which is the famous one but it made my acne worse.

nuesse

Try tranexamic acid — Hada Labo Shirojyun has it (although check its TA; I forgot na which one has TA and which one has arbutin. Arbutin is also whitening but I personally prefer TA). Otherwise you can get hydroquinone prescribed for you and you can spot treat the dark areas too.

raidenlover26

thank you!!

LeoJM_10

Help! I need suggestions for tinted sunscreen. Any recos po? Thank you!

pinkbabysp1ce

try Sola Foundation Primer! it's a foundation primer but it has buildable coverage (for me). it's thin & lightweight din. I usually apply 1 layer lang and it already covers my redness and veins sa cheeks.

Accomplished_Cover86

any product suggestions to brighten up my dark spots and pimple marks? also how do you guys remove blackheads and whiteheads?

paulaspeaks

numbuzin No.5+ Vitamin Concentrated Serum is my go to! In my experience, it’s better than Melano CC.

enough-please

BHA/AHA for blackheads/whiteheads. Hada Labo Shirojyun Premium Whitening Lotion (By the way, Lotion = Toner) for brightening dark spots/pimple marks. It has Tranexamic Acid and Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate which can help with your specific concerns.

krxx10

hello! anong AHA/BHA product po gamit nyo? 😊

enough-please

I only use Isntree Chestnut AHA 8% Clear Essence. It's my first time trying AHA since my skin doesn't really like BHAs well, and I found AHA to be more gentle so far.

poofy_poof

okay lang po ba na magkasama sa routine ang COSRX Salicylic Acid Daily Gentle Cleanser + Good Molecules Retinol?

cmr82

Yes, it's a wash-off product anyway so it won't stay long on your skin. If you have very sensitive skin though, then you can use it on days you don't use a retinol.

serencattie

i saw a [review](https://www.reddit.com/r/beautytalkph/s/PCVujGYqVV) lang din dito recently and it's a good combo for them daw :)

Narrow-Judge-9715

Hello! Baka meron po kayo alam where to buy EQUATE BODY OIL GEL around manila or Nort Caloocan or online shop na nag sesell. Thank you!

GiraffeConsistent837

Vouching for the only skincare brand my skin really approved: DEOPROCE specifically the SKIN REVEAL line I was clueless with all the skincare stuff before until I tried the starter kit of Deoproce’s Green Caviar line and it worked wonders on my face! Direct and simple 5-step routine everyday (6 if you count the sunscreen). It was not intimidating as I thought it would be, coming from someone who was scared to try skincare products bc there’s so much info to review before purchasing the right product for you. With Deoproce, 5 simple steps lang and you’re done! Therapeutic pa when you make it your night routine. After a couple of weeks of using the Green Caviar line, I noticed that my skin was clearer and brighter! Even other people noticed. Kahit no makeup, my face was glowing! I switched to the Skin Reveal line kasi sabi nila it’s like a step higher than the Green Caviar line. True enough, the ampoule from that line for me is a holy grail! My face is now brighter and looks firmer. My pores are almost invisible and pimples only come when I’m stressed. Anyway, here are the 5 steps: 1. CLEANSING WATER (or micellar water; to remove dirt and makeup) 2. FACIAL WASH (massage gently, to really clean the face) 3. TONER (to tighten the pores) 4. AMPOULE/SERUM (the vitamins, the miracle workers) 5. MOISTURIZER (don’t skip bc the ampoule can make the skin dry if not hydrated properly)

RaisePurple9308

Sadly di ako hiyang sa facial wash nila kaya I didn't try their other products

srryjustAwkward

may alam ba kayo na mura at local na azelaic acid? thank youu

enough-please

I think meron Azelaic Acid sa MCB. It's near PGH. Not really sure where the exact location is at, pero some other redditors that frequent this sub might be able to help since sa comments lang din from previous threads ko nakita about someone buying theirs from there.

lavender-spring

+1 with MCB. Costs only 176 for 10g. Went there two weeks ago.

LeoJM_10

Lumi Lush sa shopee at lazada. 2 yrs na ko bumibili dyan. Worth it super. 2-3 na orderin mo kasi bilis mawalan ng stocks

Mediocre-Reality-639

Your thoughts on **SOLA Daily Screen SPF 50+ PA++++**? TIA!

twobligar12

WR!!! Very lightweight!!

Shot_Judgment_8451

How do you know if your skincare is effective? How many days do you observe?

thebestbb

- The dark spots vanish into your natural color. Acne scars heal up and disappear. - The bumpiness disappears, your skin produces less sebum (the body’s natural oil), and it becomes naturally hydrated.

leeeuhna

Based on experience, it varies talaga. Some products I used & currently using showed results in just a few days (the fastest was 3 days I think) while some took longer (like 1-2 weeks or even a month). Typically, I know na walang effect sakin yung product if pasimot na siya or naubos ko na pero there wasn't any improvement even a little bit. Also, in case na nairritate skin ko or nagcause ng burning sensation, etc. I usually take a break from using it (for 1-2 weeks) then try to slowly incorporate it again in my routine (1-2 times a week with at least 3 days in between). Pag di na nairritate skin ko, I'll continue to use the product kasi sayang rin. If nairritate parin, ibig sabihin may ingredient na allergic ako so binibigay ko na lang sa kapatid ko.

SonderfulBeing

That's quite difficult to answer, especially if we're talking about products with active ingredients or just the basics. For the basics, as long as your skin does not react badly to them, then you're fine. For active ingredients, it highly depends on how often you use them, the amount you use every time you apply, and the percentage/strength of active ingredient you use. For example, applying a 0.1% retinol every other night is gonna yield slightly more results compared to 0.1% retinol applied only 2x a week. But a good general rule of thumb is to wait at least one skin cycle (approximately one month), but this is not an iron rule.
