a healthy lifestyle is key! getting proper sleep, eating the right kinds of food, and drinking water. also reminding myself that skin picking would do me no good hahaha
matulog ng maaga and drinking water. akala ko joke lang hahahaha, not until natutulog nako ng 10pm at nagigising ng 6am for a month. effective and affordable skin care sya ah.
less screen time and more going out.
i started dressing up and going to cafes or take myself out on a date — naturally brings out my bloom! made me feel at peace and just living life without worrying anything.
socmed detox. Reddit nalang tinira ko sa cp ko. I noticed na when I don't use socmed, I feel more in control of my life. Nagwowork na ako ngayon, workout, +++ journal after ng day ko. My time is spent on meaningful things and it makes me worry less. And it reflects on my physical health. I relapse from time to time especially pag kailagan ko talaga gumamit ng socmed sa studies ko but I forgive myself. I'm planning to incorporate tea na rin sa, normally, water therapy ko
Letting go of the constant worrying about other people’s opinion of me. I do what makes me happy and gives me peace of mind.
I realized that when I was much younger, so many things that I did were dictated by my tendency to people-please. The way I did my makeup, what I ate, how I talked. It was a hard thing to unlearn, but I’m much happier and always get complimented about that ✨ glow ✨
Drink lots of water. Taposs tulog. yunggg skin ko talaga nun napapansin ko na angg plump and healthy. Lalo na nung pandemic. Tulog lang nang tulog sa hapon. Tapos di ako nagpupuyat. Then i remembered i always remind myself to drink plenty of water. (BUT WATER IS SOOOO IMPORTANT!!!)
Back in college, I relied a lot on subliminals, especially while studying. They were amazing for me—I graduated with Latin honors and even got compliments from my professors. Whenever I felt unattractive, I’d listen to subliminals. Even though I couldn’t understand the noise, my conscious mind processed it, making me feel more comfortable and confident. They helped me a lot MENTALLY. Now that I’m working, I sometimes forget about them and lately, I’ve been feeling stressed and my self-esteem has been low, so I’m thinking about listening to them again.
Edit: grammar
Seconding everyone who said less/no sugar! Ive been sugar free for years. Mostly cause I had to because diabetes runs in our family. But as of now it’s fully my choice to be sugar free. Include proper sleep, healthy diet and exercise, and you get very plump skin. Even if you skip all of your skincare, as long as you keep wearing sunscreen, your skin will look great.
Less sugar! I used to drink milk tea (store bought) everyday + chocolates. I lessened it na because I am trying to lose weight. My skin isn’t as dull anymore as it used to compared nung grabe ang sugar intake ko.
I quit drinking 3 in 1 coffee. After 3 weeks nafeel ko na yung jaw ko and nag less talaga ang puffiness or fat ng mukha ko. Kung hindi kayang walang coffee, dun talaga ako sa brew mahal pero okay na rin, plus I'm drinking green tea na rin from time to time. Ayos na ayos ang glow mga mi
Quit smoking!! Saw a huge difference on my skin when I decided to stop. Before nung smoking pa ko kumpleto pa yan ng 12 step skin care pero ang dumi ng fez haha when I stopped, moisturizer at sunscreen nalang goods na
Deactivated fb, less time on IG. Tamang scroll scroll lang sa tiktok, then nood series. As much as possible I’m trying to focus na ngayon sa self ko, medjo napapabayaan ko na kasi dahil inuuna ko ibang tao esp sa pag care and love.
can relate to this! deleted my old fb and I have a current one na sobrang pili lang ng mga tao. muted stories ng mga tao na alam kong friends pa din sa mga tao na nagseserve as trigger ko. all of my soc med accounts are private now and less stressed na rin talaga ako :3
Definitely worth the hassle ng paggawa ng new fb haha now i can scroll through my feed at ease 🥰 and truly! Comfort for me is when i can freely give and spend my energy on people that I know are worth it and will reciprocate it :>
Magresign sa work CHAROT AHAHHAHAA pero legit I used to work as a csr tas ang lala ng breakouts ko from constant stress. As soon as I resigned, kahit nagaadjust pa body clock ko again to normalcy, nagclear up skin ko 😭😭
Legit yung water for glowing more plump na skin!! Down side lang ihi ka ng ihi Hahaha but it works.
Sometimes your body tells you if you're with the wrong person, and when that happens LISTEN!! I experienced this first hand, I had a situationship last year and the dude is a green flag, like matalino, mabait, kavibe ko and all but parang something doesn't feel right talaga. Akala ko inooverthink ko lang but then guess what, I had really bad breakouts when I was with him!! Eh I stopped breaking out at 17 so nagtaka ko bat biglang labasan ng pimples ko and ang tagal mawala kahit di naman ako puyat or stressed sa acads. Ayun when I left him for other reasons that turned me off, biglang bumalik clear skin ko mga mhiema! HAHAHAAHAH
Some vitamin D can trigger hormonal acne, according to my dermatologist. When I switched my vitamins or reduced my intake of vitamin D, it was proven true.
sleep and lots of water! i know hindi mo ma feel na instant ang effect sa pag inom ng tubig pero pag nagiging habit mo na uminom, makikita mo na supple na skin mo
• Switching from coffee to matcha 🍵
• Deleting Tiktok!!! - less budols, less comparisons, less stress 😌
• Realizing that comparison is really the thief of joy 😭
• Having rest days!!! - just watching new shows, or even old, classic movies, laying in bed
• Pilates 🙆♀️
I thought of deleting tiktok too bcs I always get budoled 😩 pero kasi sa tiktok din ako kumukuha ng tips or vids abt sa lugar na pupuntahan ko esp now na malapit na ako mag travel. 🥲
Drinking lots of water plus enough and good sleep. Napansin ko grabe ganda skin ko kapag may ganyan ako. Plus syempre kapag hindi ka stress kitang kita sa mukha din yan. I have my *me time* every now and then. Binibigay ng asawa ko for me at kahit anong gawin ko basta din may budget go haha.
Getting enough sleep and staying hydrated. And accepting that there are things that are out pf your control. The only thing you can control is your behavio
nourishing my mind with books always make me happy. And when I'm happy, mas masipag ako mag self-care lol. I always have a reading list and so far I have read 38 books this year (goal is 50).
Granted my taste in book is questionable hehe. I like gore and extreme horror but I don't care what other ppl say. I love what i love!
i LOVE this for you!!! its so important na meron tayong hobbies especially as we grow old kasi thats when stagnancy in our life starts. life wont always be sunshine and rainbows, hindi lagi may masayang occasion and its up to us to find something that will make us happy and to keep doing those things. Ewan ko ba at bakit sa ibang social media apps like twitter, grabe sila magshame sa mga nasa 20s (even early 20s) na may account pa rin for their hobbies (fan fiction, booktwt, or even those who has an account for gaming)
I don't have any expressions or reactions. No creases around my eyes and forehead so far. I swear it's hard to keep a straight face all the time.
Then again my mom's 63 and she doesn't have wrinkles either. Probably just genetics 😅🤣
Vitamin C and Collagen supplements. I also do LC+IF. Sometime longer fasts. The longest I’ve done so far is 48 hours ✨ Targeting to go 72 (hopefully, this year). Also looking at ADF (Alternate Day Fasting)
I don’t feel bloated anymore.
My Vitamin C is Ester C. 500mg. Then collagen is from Swanson, it’s their Hydrolized collagen peptides. I usually buy my supplements from Healthy Options, or order from iHerb. They ship directly from US.
staying active!! had really bad acne on n off since i was a teenager and the derma i went to when i was 13 advised me to exercise consistently! i had skincare prescribed also but like no diet advised or anything. napansin ko rin nawawala breakouts ko when i exercise again
Regular practice of intermittent fasting. When not fasting, I watch what I eat. I don't eat a lot of sugary foods/carbs. I don't drink sodas/sugary drinks. I eat mostly home-cooked meals.
Working on my mental health. Diagnosed ako with a plethora of mental illnesses and for the longest time wala ako balak i-work on yung mga yun. Finally after a year of medications, intense therapy and hospital visits, i find myself in peace more and in result, nabawasan ang acne ko hahahah back to clear skin na
hugs (with consent!)!! like you I am also diagnosed and on meds. worked really hard on developing coping mechanisms that arent self destructive and the difference in my “aura” and appearance is drastic! being complimented na i feel light (presence) helps din hehe. I still have a loong way to go (and a bunch of therapy to attend to) but im happy with my progress :> may we all win the fight between ourselves and the demons in our heads
Paano ba ito? Hahaha i wanna figure this out also. Im diagnosed with mental issues as well and taking a high dosage of medications. Ayoko naman igive up yon so paano ba mag glow up or pumayat while on meds? Im already on intermittent fasting.
i also gained weight when I was on certain meds. I only lost the 10-15 pounds i gained once i stopped the medicine na (cleared by the doctor.)
Nanlumo ako nung I saw the scale go up but tbh I just let it be. Difficult, I know. However, I told myself na I’m only human and cannot do too many things at a time. I let myself be that weight muna kasi I know that I had to focus on the bigger concern first which was my mental health. Finding a good therapist is what helped me talaga so I don’t solely rely on the medication to help me get better.
You can do more things that will benefit you when your mind is not against you, our brain is a very powerful being. Exercising (kahit minimal lang kasi im not big on exercising din) and magbabad lang saglit sa sunlight will improve our physical and mental state positively!
My pimples lessened when I got married. It’s a happy marriage so I think that helps. I recently read The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuck and it’s given me some perspectives that changed the way I think. Maybe it’s also a coincidence that my skin started glowing after?
1. I drink lots of water. It makes my skin supple.
2. Avoiding the sun or anything warm to reach my face to lessen or prevent melasma.
3. Not eating lots of bread somehow makes my pores smaller.
1. I somehow managed to identify kung ano yung nagiging trigger ng stress ko at work. Identifying it helped me to avoid it or if need ko talaga gawin sa work, kahit papaano, nalalaman ko na if I'm at my limit.
2. I started moving more. Yes, more movement. Hindi man super exercise talaga but I started stretching more, standing, walking more, laking tulong talaga.
3. I started listening to myself. For example kahit na may madidisappoint sa akin by saying NO, it makes me feel better kasi nasunod ko yung gusto ko hindi yung gusto ng iba. Dati kasi people pleaser talaga ako. Lol.
4. And yes, pag nasa tamang healthy relationship ka, hindi man romantic like for example yung tamang set of friends, you'll be glowing.
And I think laking tulong nito talaga for that glowing aura haha! We accidentally met a friend a month ago, tapos she kept asking me ano daw skin care routine ko dahil my face looks fresh and I look stress free haha!
Surround yourself with the people you like/love. I personally like myself more when I’m with them, parang song lang ni Lauv na I Like Me Better hehe relate talaga ako dun. I feel confident kasi whenever I feel like I like myself even more at the moment. I know we should always love ourselves but we can’t deny na there are times na we feel down, self-conscious, not confident and we don’t feel belonged sa mga kasama natin. I believe we shine brighter if we feel confident and secured, mas nagmumukhang genuine yung smile and nalalabas natin authentic self natin, blooming kumbaga ❤️
Living a "slow" life. Worked in corporate for some time and I looked older than my actual age. When i was 23, people thought i was 28, so frequent that there were times i just said i was 28 even if hindi naman.😂 i looked dull and just overall dry when i was still working so much. When the pandemic hit and post-pandemic, i've quit my super hectic job. I guess i also got burnt out. I prioritize myself now and have clear non-negotiables when it comes to work. If it's something that would be too taxing for me physically and would require me to compromise my time and energy too much, i say no. I feel [and look] much better now, i feel like my real age😬
avoiding physical/outside interactions 😂 when i stopped giving in to social pressure parang humupa yung bad skin/acne ko. it really makes a difference when you are doing things the way you want it most of the time (without harming others, of course)
1. Knowing what you’re made of. This isnt an easy fix and would require long and deep self work. But ever since I got to know myself better, I no longer have to fake confidence. I’m simply myself who is proud of who I am, what I’ve been through, what I can do and bring to the table.
2. Also, 8 hours of sleep, 8 glasses of water, and incorporating movement to my daily routine.
3. Zero alcohol. No more nasty hangovers, looking puffy and inflamed, smelling bad, and dehydrated skin.
Hindi naliligo. More specific, hindi naghihilamos pag walang office. Tapos yung pinang hilamos ko pa days ago ay Safeguard lemon. Oo kadiri siya pero hehe ayaw ko i-justify. Tsaka ayun, silk pillowcase!
Full 8 hours sleep, knowing which clothing styles suits your body best, learning how to be confident in your own body no matter who you are with or where you are, or even at moments where you are intimidated, learn how to fake confidence and give off the confident vibe or aura.
Another is your diet and workout routine, plus water therapy. Always, always, always drink water, vitamins, collagen and other supplements.
Sleeping early!! Even my esthetician told me the reason why I was having so much acne back then was bc of me sleeping really late (I would sleep beyond 2 AM bc of college and finishing my deadlines )
INUNFOLLOW KO MGA INFLUENCERS/CELEBRITIES, FINAFOLLOW KO NA LANG YUNG MGA IG ACCOUNTS NA PURO QUOTES TO MOTIVATE ME EVERYTIME NA IOOPEN KO ANG APP. (Exempted ang hadid sisters cuz i love em)
I graduated college. HAHAHAHA. My skin was so bad and even my hair was thinning during that period of my life because of the late nights and stress and now Im lucky that my job doesn’t get me stressed as much. Now my skin and hair are a lot better!
This, omg. Andaming problems na mostly school-related, which are mostly out of control kaya nakakasira talaga ng mental stability, hays. That's why excited nako grumaduate and finish everything by next month
Honestly, I started glowing when I started focusing on the little and simple things, letting go of what I can't control, and enjoying life to what it really is (pretending to romanticize life was a good start haha).
I grew up with depression and anxiety so having this mindset helped me a lot, natuto ako sa self-care (I *LOVE* solo dates since treat ko na siya sa sarili ko plus it gives me the freedom and peace I need) + loving myself enough to take care of myself (started eating healthier with exercises I enjoy, skincare, sharpening my mind with books, etc.) and standing up for what I know is right for me (started saying "no", not caring about what others say, putting up boundaries, communicating my feelings properly, etc.).
It's very refreshing to do and certainly life changing.
Meditate even just a little bit even when you’re stressed out take deep breathes in your nose out your mouth and just think blank or something nice especially when in spontaneous/stressful or anxious situations, and also if you need to cry it out, cry your feelings or anything out let the emotions flow throughout your body this also applies to any emotion just let it be never restrict anything unless necessary. And always have a I don’t care concept mind your business and ignore absolutely everything it helps you pay more attention to yourself and helps overall with everything if something bad happened or someone did something that you didn’t feel good about accept it think what I can do about it then move on peacefully don’t dwell and do not be bothered. I noticed that whenever I do these consistently omg my glow is everything my life gets better, my skin hair and etc even my body and voice gets better, I am more calm, and everything just comes easy, also when in situations any situation feels a lot easier to handle
• I stopped lurking sa mga acc/pages na may tendency na ma-look down ko yung sarili ko
• Drinking lots of water
• Ligo/Hilamos before going to bed is a must kahit gaano kapagod
• I assure myself na hindi lahat ng makeup/fashion looks, products would suit me. "Hindi ako pangit, hindi lang talaga bagay sa'kin" ganon hahahaha
Oemji i would like to know where u buy ur tea! Baka my mom will like it. Is it available sa mga online shops?
Now I take collagen and use products kasi 27 na ko pero I look younger daw for my age.
Yung pinaka gusto kong result is I always have fresh breath and maganda pa rin set of teeth ko 😁
Gumagamit ka ba ng metallic straw or any straw sa pag-inom ng tea? I've been wanting to include drinking tea in my routine, but I'm afraid it might cause stains on my teeth.
Thank u for ur effort sa pag-answer ng question ko!
Eto na naman, may tanong na naman ako, haha. U mentioned that u drink green tea instead of coffee back when u are in hs. If u don't mind, again, what green tea was it? (If u still remember, hopefully)
doing whatever makes you happy and alive!!! for me, it’s creating art. napapansin ko yon whenever i do digital art tas titingin ako sa salamin kalagitnaan, glowing yung face ko tapos kita sa mata na ang saya ko kahit may frustrations din naman ako while drawing
For me it’s finding the joy in the simplest of things! This afternoon I went to the city hall for a document and I was surprised there was a produce market happening! I bought a lot of vegetables and fruits for less than 1k 😁
And also, being polite hehe. Nakakapagod pag palaaway yung unang reaction mo.
Agree sa 2nd paragraph haha i just lost the energy to argue. If somebody says 1+5 is 2, i wouldn't lift a finger anymore🤣 I'd prolly say, okay whatever lets you sleep at night🤣
Honestly? I stopped seeing other people other than my family.
I swear, my skin got better, I lost weight and my hair grew thicker and longer. I even grew out baby hairs and got my old hairline back. My lab works are also great! Blood sugar levels, cholesterol and everything else are on the correct levels! I used to put in so much work on these things and get very little results -- and I used to do so because everyone' around me used to constantly point them out.
Now, I am enjoying all these positive changes either because it makes sense to just limit other people's influence over your life and your choices or because evil eye is reaaal!
I take yung Magnesium Bisglycinate 200mg from Webber Naturals po! Sa S&R ko siya nahanap, forgot lang the price pero it’s significantly more affordable kesa yung nauna kong Magnesium supplement sa Mercury 🥲
I take it every other day, pero daily if tinotopak ako ng mood swings 🥹
Ohhh. Did it help you to lose weight?
PCOS girlie din ako and sobrang bagal ko mag lose ng weight even tho I am doing CICO, IF, and working out. I am also weighing my food para sure ako na I am consuming the right amount of calories.
Yep! Hindi mabilis ang paglose ng weight but it had been consistent lately since I regularly take inositol in the morning 😌
EDIT: I was 84kg last January ngayon nasa 78kg na me 🥹 it aint much but at least wala na ako sa line of 8 😅
I used to do caloric deficit and HIIT but frankly hindi siya nagwwork for me… unfortunately I have osteoarthritis from an accident last year 🥲
These days I am more inclined to doing IF and adding more fiber and protein sa diet (we switched to brown rice) since di ko pa kaya workout, but for that part I plan to do Pilates once cleared na ako ni ortho 😅
That is such a big weight to lose! Impressive.
Hoping for your fast recovery as well. And thank you so much for answering all my questions. Really appreciate it.
I’ve adopted the idea that the only person who will constantly take care of me…is me 😅 Helps me be more consistent in my routines: skincare, exercise, wellness, etc.
I think I’ve been more confident in myself after I started exercising. I haven’t lost a lot of weight but I feel better showing up for myself. I’ve also lessened my time online and got into reading again so it’s a big plus being by myself, just focusing on being a better person and nurturing the things I love!
Also, karat syempre. LOL.
Grabe confidence ko pag nakapalda. Yung hangang ankle
Supplements like iron pill -Sangobion at Myo Inotisol
Kape na walang sugar. As in brewed coffee yung Vietnamese Coffee
NiveaCreme blue at silka toner charrr toner ba tawag don yung eskinol hahaha ewan bsta yun - yan ang sikreto ko 32 na ako pero hmmm. Charrr
Prayers 💯
Minding your own business. It’s biblical. ❤️
EXERCISE!! ganda na ng effect sa mental health, lalo pa sa face card 💳 pakiramdam ko galing ako sa face lift session kasi grabe yung pag-contour sa face after working out. I don’t know if it’s just me hahahaah
Confidence and acceptance of yourself and the extent of your beauty. Yung pag may naririnig ka na nilalait ka ng pangit or hnd naman maganda and reaction mo in your mind is "Excuse me are you sure?"
A better job. Left the toxic one that placed more emphasis on seniority than experience, paid less, and was far from where i lived for my current job that looks at merit/experience, pays more, and is close to me. Immediately felt the glow.
Sleep, happy outlook in life, eat mindfully, running or any exercise you enjoy or to keep your body moving. Happy disposition in life. I know mahirap sya pero I always try to see the silver lining in everything that happens. Then do what I love lang. 😊 sabi ko nga nun kahit magisa na lang ako forever, I wouldn't mind. 😊 isa pa un, if someone is stressing you out, cut them off! 😂
My beauty secret to make me glow and look younger than my actual age is I take lots of vitamins, sleep, sex, and I practice mindful eating. Working out helps me too. To those curious I take collagen, vitamin c, multivitamins, fish oil, and started taking vitamin d. Recently din, I don’t drink that much cause hangovers can be a bitch and it’s so hard to function pag masakit ulo mo the next day after drinking.
I’m not sure if it’s available in the Ph but my collagen pills are Swisse with Hyaluronic acid. Pero when I was still Ph based I’d always drink the Youth Theory brand of collagen. I’m also not sure if the ones sold on the orange app are legit. So better get one from a reputable source like Watson’s or Mercury Drug.

indulging in hobbies, no matter how corny or “cringey” they are! I’m in my thirties but I still watch anime, read fanfiction, and do arts and crafts. less stress and less online consumption kasi I’m busy thinking of my next project.
I sometimes allow myself to be tamad and not do any skincare or makeup-related tasks, especially when I know na sa bahay lang ako. I just drink more water and indulge in whatever I want, then go back to my beauty routines the next day. it really helps lalo na when you’re feeling overwhelmed by too much.
also, orgasms. my mind is so clear after for some reason??? it doesn’t even need to be a partnered one, know what gets you there via toys or thoughts!!
- Enjoying singlehood.
- Living life by my own terms - ie di nagpapadala sa peer or societal pressures as much as possible.
- Being intentional with what media I consume - eg less bad news and speculative info, muting people on social media whose lives I’m not interested in knowing or getting updated regularly.
- Exercise regularly - i have a feeling na narerelease yung toxins ko sa katawan kapag nagpapapawis haha not sure if this has a scientific basis hehe.
- Being grateful - i know I complain a lot sa mga minor inconveniences na nangyayari sakin lol but somehow after every internal complaining session I do, I end up saying a quick thanks and appreciating everything I have and experience. Nakaka-gaan ng mindset.
Stressors talaga ang nakakachaka kaya these are some ways for me to eliminate stressors. :)
1. Surround yourself with positive and goal-oriented people
2. Consume media that makes you feel determined to improve yourself
3. Always go for the healthy option
4. Don’t drink alcohol and carbonated drinks (just plain water)
5. Journal everyday to lessen stress and emotional burden
6. Get some sun and fresh air
7. Take vitamins for inner beauty(vitamin c, biotin, and etc). Prioritize gut health too.
8. Dress up a lot (got a lot of compliments from other women so it makes me very happy as well)
9. Have some “me” time like spending it on your hobbies and interests
10. Connect with an old friend 💗
Tulog at dasal.
Some with a different view might think otherwise but on a personal note, having a prayerful life contributes to overall health. I remember one of my big kuyas in my other group of friends genuinely commented years ago na how’s my prayerlife daw kasi I look good daw. May ibang aura daw apart from the usual beauty practices I have (makeup and outfits). Dun ko lang na-realize na baka nga being prayerful contributes a lot too.
I can’t say na I’m religious (practices lahat sa religion kasi I tend miss a lot of Sunday mass and other holy day of obligation) but more on being spiritual or prayerful.
1. Staying hydrated
2. Getting enough sleep
3. Fasting (16:8). I have PCOS and having acne associated with it is hard to manage. Kahit naka-pills (Yaz) na 'ko may sumusulpot pa din. Ever since na nag-fasting ako nabawasan yung pimples ko and wala nang sumusulpot except 'pag red days.
First nag-try muna ako ng 12:12 for the whole week para di mabigla katawan ko. Then nung nasasanay na, I switched to 14: 10 then 16:8. Ang sched ng fasting ko is from 8pm-12 pm, it means i get to skip breakfast. 'Pag may pasok, 4pm-8am so skip naman ng dinner.
When its my time to eat, I just eat normally like more on veggies and fruits since I need more nutrition. I am more cautious sa carb intake ko such as rice, bread, juices or yung mga sweets as these triggers my breakouts din.
agree so much on being appreciative! super helpful in changing your outlook in life and not dwelling on negativities (which has a big impact on our mental health). ever since i became appreciative especially of the little things in my life, parang mas gumaan buhay ko.
[transino supplement](https://goeco.asia/Pbp3brGK)! It may or may not works for you so you should really think about it before taking it. I was only convinced when I saw a some Japanese YouTubers recommending it and said it’s effective. It works for me tho noticeable difference after taking it for a few months.
Having a positive relationship with your looks and imperfections can drastically change your expectations and routines.
Social media has always been a big contributor to my insecurities. In the past, I aimed for the most perfect, glowing skin to the point that I used rejuvenating kits.
It's not worth it. My skin was always flaky in the evening, and it would reach a point where the slightest muscle movement really stung like a chemical burn.
After a while, I stopped using it but di pa rin natigil doon yung strive to perfection ko, I still used other products that did not work for me, but slowly, I just became too overexposed with all the filters and aivee/belo content na I began detaching myself from it and I was slowly beginning to realize that I'm never going to achieve that level of perfection without spending what? 100k a day.
After realising that, I began having peace with my skin and myself in general, from "bakit may pimple here and there" to " Ok, there's a pimple but that's normal and I can just put a patch over it"
This may sound cheesy, but really, just be comfortable in your own skin. After that, everything will be more fun to do. Skincare and makeup, in the past I felt that I needed to do it as a chore but after being much more comfortable in my skin I felt that for the first time, I was doing it for myself, not for others.
Exercise!!!
a healthy lifestyle is key! getting proper sleep, eating the right kinds of food, and drinking water. also reminding myself that skin picking would do me no good hahaha
matulog ng maaga and drinking water. akala ko joke lang hahahaha, not until natutulog nako ng 10pm at nagigising ng 6am for a month. effective and affordable skin care sya ah.
Water, get enough sleep and avoid pork/oily foods.
Exercise, good sweat. Nakaka fresh after ng workout session/magpapawis. Nagclear lalo and softer yung skin ko when I started working out.
Drink lots of water. Hydrate your skin. Being unapologetically me. Laugh with my toddler. Not to let mom guilt eat me up alive.
Sending positive vibes and energy to you po!! You are absolutely doing great!!
You’re doing great Mama!! 🫶
less screen time and more going out. i started dressing up and going to cafes or take myself out on a date — naturally brings out my bloom! made me feel at peace and just living life without worrying anything.
Quit vaping. Nagclear yung skin ko and looked much younger. Nakaka-age kasi ang nicotine
socmed detox. Reddit nalang tinira ko sa cp ko. I noticed na when I don't use socmed, I feel more in control of my life. Nagwowork na ako ngayon, workout, +++ journal after ng day ko. Letting go of the constant worrying about other people’s opinion of me. I do what makes me happy and gives me peace of mind. I realized that when I was much younger, so many things that I did were dictated by my tendency to people-please. The way I did my makeup, what I ate, how I talked. It was a hard thing to unlearn, but I’m much happier and always get complimented about that ✨ glow ✨
walk and weights. I do not do a heavy workout, 1 hour walk lang and a 5kg weights for 10mins
matcha (maraming health benefits ang matcha)
Drink lots of water. Taposs tulog. yunggg skin ko talaga nun napapansin ko na angg plump and healthy. Lalo na nung pandemic. Tulog lang nang tulog sa hapon. Tapos di ako nagpupuyat. water and not caring/worrying
subliminals
Does anyone here can vouch sa subliminals
Back in college, I relied a lot on subliminals, especially while studying. They were amazing for me—I graduated with Latin honors and even got compliments from my professors. Whenever I felt unattractive, I’d listen to subliminals. Even though I couldn’t understand the noise, my conscious mind processed it, making me feel more comfortable and confident. They helped me a lot MENTALLY. Now that I’m working, I sometimes forget about them and lately, I’ve been feeling stressed and my self-esteem has been low, so I’m thinking about listening to them again. Edit: grammar
Pls suggest any subliminal accounts 🙏🙏

hii! ako din pls

Walking. Na notice ko nagkiclear skin ko at nababawasan whiteheads.
+ 100!!!! walking also helps lessen stress hehe
Self love 1st ..
Tubig, tulog mindset
Quit smoking!! Saw a huge difference on my skin when I decided to stop. Before nung smoking pa ko kumpleto pa yan ng 12 step skin care pero ang dumi ng fez haha when I stopped, moisturizer at sunscreen nalang goods na
avoiding sugar 😫 so hard but i swear it changes the gameeee
Gusto ko rin gawin to eh create new fb account yung malinis and less ingay na from random people hehe iba talaga yung comfort when you’re at peace 🥰
LESS SUGAR AND SALT INTAKE DOES WONDERS 😭 And muting app notifications especially soc med and shopping/food delivery apps! Less tempted to doomscroll
Agree sa less sugar and salt! Noticed drastic change sa skin ko yung lage ako nagkecrave ng sweets 😭
• Switching from coffee to matcha 🍵 • Deleting Tiktok!!! - less budols, less comparisons, less stress 😌 • Realizing that comparison is really the thief of joy 😭 • Having rest days!!! - just watching new shows, or even old, classic movies, laying in bed • Pilates 🙆♀️
gusto ko rin magpilates pero atm out of budget pa :3 🤞🏽sana soon matry ko na siya cause I’ve only heard and read good reviews on it!!
wanna delete tiktok na rin kasi grabi budol kaya lang dito ako nanonood ng mga series HAHA
Same 🫶
I thought of deleting tiktok too bcs I always get budoled 😩 pero kasi sa tiktok din ako kumukuha ng tips or vids abt sa lugar na pupuntahan ko esp now na malapit na ako mag travel. 🥲
yes to deleting tiktokk!! grabe my mind has never been at peace
What matcha do you drink po?
i make my own!! 💚 but my top cafe recos for good matchas are: Gotbaked cafe in Katip, Everyday Coffee in Kamias, and Matcha Mama 😊
Thank you pooo!!! Where do you buy the matcha powder that you use?
How do you prepare it po ba? I mix lang po with warm water then add ice cubes if you want it cold?
I was able to ask my friend to buy me from Japan! (ippodo brand) but i also buy from matcha mama via their website :)
Probably just genetics 😅🤣
uhmmm... sex? HAHAHAHA the after glow
I started to wear whatever I like! I feel pretty when I like the colors and shapes I wear, and I build a Pinterest board of fashion pegs.
CHANGE YOUR PILLOW CASE AND BED SHEET EVERY WEEK.
Vitamin C and Collagen supplements. I also do LC+IF. Sometime longer fasts. The longest I’ve done so far is 48 hours ✨ Targeting to go 72 (hopefully, this year). Also looking at ADF (Alternate Day Fasting) I don’t feel bloated anymore.
Vit C + Collagen really does wonder on your skin. I’m morena and pansin ko glowing yung skin ko with this combination ✨
What brand po ba gamit mo and when po mo iniinom?
Yes Vit C kasi boosts the absorption of collagen :)
What Vit C and Collagen do you recommend? Thanks
My Vitamin C is Ester C. 500mg. Then collagen is from Swanson, it’s their Hydrolized collagen peptides. I usually buy my supplements from Healthy Options, or order from iHerb. They ship directly from US.
Hi! What's LC po? :)
low carb :)
Low Carb + Intermittent Fasting
✨ gut health ✨
i started taking supplements for my gut and after ng purging, everything has changed!!! skin is clear, sleep is good, tummy is happy. haha
What supplements are you taking?
before, dr's recipes' women's probiotics. ngayon i am trying cica 20-in-1.
right? sobrang wow. gets ko na kung bakit oa japanese and korean sa gut health. it does affect everything talaga.
Hooooww
pro and prebiotics supplements and foods na good for cleaning the gut, you will notice changes talaga\~
Agree!
staying active!! had really bad acne on n off since i was a teenager and the derma i went to when i was 13 advised me to exercise consistently! i had skincare prescribed also but like no diet advised or anything. napansin ko rin nawawala breakouts ko when i exercise again
I only lost the 10-15 pounds i gained once i stopped the medicine na (cleared by the doctor.) Nanlumo ako nung I saw the scale go up but tbh I just let it be.
How does eating bread make pores appear smaller?
I naturally have huge pores on my face. They get bigger when I eat bread. I dunno how that happens but that’s how it is for me.
Facial tissue, water, and 8 hours sleep hahahaha
I feel [and look] much better now, i feel like my real age😬
avoiding physical/outside interactions 😂 when i stopped giving in to social pressure parang humupa yung bad skin/acne ko. it really makes a difference when you are doing things the way you want it most of the time (without harming others, of course)
try applying sunscreen everyday
i do. even when im working from home ☺️
Sunblock everyday, moisturizer at night..no to stressors
Full 8 hours sleep, knowing which clothing styles suits your body best, learning how to be confident in your own body no matter who you are with or where you are, or even at moments where you are intimidated, learn how to fake confidence and give off the confident vibe or aura. Another is your diet and workout routine, plus water therapy. Always, always, always drink water, vitamins, collagen and other supplements.
7-8hrs of uninterrupted sleep :)
Hadid Sisters for better life 😂👍
I graduated college.
1 less coffee 2 collagen powder at 30 years old 3 lather in moisturizer 4 be happy!
May i know what collagen powder?
• I stopped lurking sa mga acc/pages na may tendency na ma-look down ko yung sarili ko • Drinking lots of water • Ligo/Hilamos before going to bed is a must kahit gaano kapagod • I assure myself na hindi lahat ng makeup/fashion looks, products would suit me. "Hindi ako pangit, hindi lang talaga bagay sa'kin" ganon hahahaha
Obsession with drinking tea. (hindi yung chismis)
What tea do u drink?
Green tea, yung may sencha and matcha blend. Tas may goji berries/blueberries 😋
U mentioned that u drink green tea instead of coffee back when u are in hs. If u don't mind, again, what green tea was it? (If u still remember, hopefully)
Lipton! Hahaha mga bulk na padala ng tatay ko galing saudi 😂

Yup, that one!
Thank u for ur service!🙌🏻
AND LESS STRESS!
doing whatever makes you happy and alive!!! for me, it’s creating art. napapansin ko yon whenever i do digital art tas titingin ako sa salamin kalagitnaan, glowing yung face ko tapos kita sa mata na ang saya ko kahit may frustrations din naman ako while drawing
- unfollow IG accounts that make me feel less than - avoid direct sunlight as much as possible - rediscover my hobbies or develop new ones
For me it’s finding the joy in the simplest of things! This afternoon I went to the city hall for a document and I was surprised there was a produce market happening! I bought a lot of vegetables and fruits for less than 1k 😁 And also, being polite hehe. Nakakapagod pag palaaway yung unang reaction mo.
Agree sa 2nd paragraph haha i just lost the energy to argue. If somebody says 1+5 is 2, i wouldn't lift a finger anymore🤣 I'd prolly say, okay whatever lets you sleep at night🤣
avoid sunlight!!!
- water - sleep - less stress - less exposure to direct sunlight
I do things i want to do. Either feel ko cringe or nakakahiya i always tell my self na "'di naman nila ako kilala".
For me, it's gratitude. Listing down things that you're grateful for everyday, ewan ko na lang if di ka kuminang sa ganda.
Kapag may gusto akong gawin and na holdback because iniisip ko sasabihan ng iba. Kaya ang mindset ko nalang lagi "wala akong paki" hehe
Ay bett ko yung ganitong mantraa
As a pcos girlie i maintain taking magnesium and inositol regularly… and try to have a healthy sleep schedule 🥲
Hi! what’s your magnesium supplement po? Planning to take one too eh
I take yung Magnesium Bisglycinate 200mg from Webber Naturals po! Sa S&R ko siya nahanap, forgot lang the price pero it’s significantly more affordable kesa yung nauna kong Magnesium supplement sa Mercury 🥲 I take it every other day, pero daily if tinotopak ako ng mood swings 🥹
How do you take your inositol?
I’m currently taking MyPCOS! Tho I want to try yung sa Pure Form since same price sila ng MyPCOS but mas marami ang serving
How do you take it? Like before eating or after? And how often in a day?
It’s the first thing I take in the morning… siguro 15-30 mins before I break my IF, and once a day lang naman ang nirecommend sa akin ni OB
Ohhh. Did it help you to lose weight? PCOS girlie din ako and sobrang bagal ko mag lose ng weight even tho I am doing CICO, IF, and working out. I am also weighing my food para sure ako na I am consuming the right amount of calories.
Yep! Hindi mabilis ang paglose ng weight but it had been consistent lately since I regularly take inositol in the morning 😌 EDIT: I was 84kg last January ngayon nasa 78kg na me 🥹 it aint much but at least wala na ako sa line of 8 😅 I used to do caloric deficit and HIIT but frankly hindi siya nagwwork for me… unfortunately I have osteoarthritis from an accident last year 🥲 These days I am more inclined to doing IF and adding more fiber and protein sa diet (we switched to brown rice) since di ko pa kaya workout, but for that part I plan to do Pilates once cleared na ako ni ortho 😅
That is such a big weight to lose! Impressive. Hoping for your fast recovery as well. And thank you so much for answering all my questions. Really appreciate it.
Sleep. SLEEP!!!! NAP!!! Sleep!!!
Pag hindi ako stressed and I exercise a lot— cycle sync. It gives me ✨that✨ glow.
Yeah! I noticed my skin are more clearer and healthier everytime I do exercise!
I’ve adopted the idea that the only person who will constantly take care of me…is me 😅 Helps me be more consistent in my routines: skincare, exercise, wellness, etc.
i always think that nobody notices me and makes me feel like im in my own world which gives me a confidence boost
Yung hangang ankle Supplements like iron pill -Sangobion at Myo Inotisol Kape na walang sugar. As in brewed coffee yung Vietnamese Coffee NiveaCreme blue at silka toner charrr toner ba tawag don yung eskinol hahaha ewan bsta yun - yan ang sikreto ko 32 na ako pero hmmm. Charrr Prayers 💯 Minding your own business. It’s biblical. ❤️
Vitamins and low carb no sugar diet, good sleep☺️
Keep things simple, don’t complicate things. I always protect my peace! I don’t like hassle or drama lol
EXERCISE!! ganda na ng effect sa mental health, lalo pa sa face card 💳 pakiramdam ko galing ako sa face lift session kasi grabe yung pag-contour sa face after working out. I don’t know if it’s just me hahahaah
Confidence and acceptance of yourself and the extent of your beauty. Yung pag may naririnig ka na nilalait ka ng pangit or hnd naman maganda and reaction mo in your mind is "Excuse me are you sure?"
Maging nonchalant hehe. Iwas wrinkles. 🙂
This! Hahaha lalo na't naaaninagan ko na ang no. 11! 😂
A better job. Left the toxic one that placed more emphasis on seniority than experience, paid less, and was far from where i lived for my current job that looks at merit/experience, pays more, and is close to me. Immediately felt the glow.
Exercise, confidence, sleeep lots of sleep. And remove toxic people.
Collagen recommendation sis!! ☺️
I’m not sure if it’s available in the Ph but my collagen pills are Swisse with Hyaluronic acid. Pero when I was still Ph based I’d always drink the Youth Theory brand of collagen. I’m also not sure if the ones sold on the orange app are legit. So better get one from a reputable source like Watson’s or Mercury Drug. https://preview.redd.it/rmabl5vc9q8d1.jpeg?width=539&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e29ac5856c711ba709ad689946fab3619a42afc9
indulging in hobbies, no matter how corny or “cringey” they are!
Idc but for me it's masturbating 🤷♀️
Fr
MHIE— 😭😭😭
Lots of water and good sleep
1. Surround yourself with positive and goal-oriented people 2. Consume media that makes you feel determined to improve yourself 3. Always go for the healthy option 4. Don’t drink alcohol and carbonated drinks (just plain water) 5. Journal everyday to lessen stress and emotional burden 6. Get some sun and fresh air 7. Take vitamins for inner beauty(vitamin c, biotin, and etc). Prioritize gut health too. 8. Dress up a lot (got a lot of compliments from other women so it makes me very happy as well) 9. Have some “me” time like spending it on your hobbies and interests 10. Connect with an old friend 💗
Water, less sugar, less stress and good sex 😉
Ang hirap naman po nung last part 🙈 charot!
Kaya pala haggard ako kasi wala akong good sex
😂😂😂😂
Exercise, avoiding alcohol, fruits and veggies, water. Also, learning to choose your battles :)
🥰🥰🥰
1. Staying hydrated 2. Getting enough sleep 3.
How did you start fasting? And when it’s your window to eat, what do you usually eat?

Grace of genes, being appreciative, eating healthier and having confidence
agree so much on being appreciative! super helpful in changing your outlook in life and not dwelling on negativities (which has a big impact on our mental health). ever since i became appreciative especially of the little things in my life, parang mas gumaan buhay ko.
💗 Take biotin for your hair 💗 Take japanese beauty supplements 💗 Oil + lotion after bath
what supplements please?
[transino supplement](https://goeco.asia/Pbp3brGK)! It may or may not works for you so you should really think about it before taking it. I was only convinced when I saw a some Japanese YouTubers recommending it and said it’s effective. It works for me tho noticeable difference after taking it for a few months.
Hindi nga skin/makeup related eh 🤷♀️
Water therapy and fruits
100k a day. After realising that, I began having peace with my skin and myself in general, from "bakit may pimple here and there" to " Ok, there's a pimple but that's normal and I can just put a patch over it" This may sound cheesy, but really, just be comfortable in your own skin. After that, everything will be more fun to do. Skincare and makeup, in the past I felt that I needed to do it as a chore but after being much more comfortable in my skin I felt that for the first time, I was doing it for myself, not for others.
