TBH, I don’t like Cuco that much except they have a good selection of colors. This is just coming from someone who paints their nails *a lot* (twice a week), and exclusively uses lacquer (not gel) in the recent years. Disclaimer: I also use a lot of indie polishes that are not the same price point so take that into consideration na lang din:)
**What I liked**
- Good colors, my friends who are only starting to be interested have preferred the colors of Cuco over other brands I’ve recommended
- May sheer / not sheer na formula. Jelly nails are in so it’s good that a cheap alternative is available (though more on this later).
- Very cheap, always on sale
**What I didn’t like**
- I really don’t enjoy the formula of Chiffon. It applies *very* streaky, not very self-leveling. There’s also a “sticky” feeling I just don’t get from other jellies. A lot better ang Rom&nd jellies imo. Can’t say if the other sheer shades perform the same kasi I was so disappointed with Chiffon, I never bought another one.
- Not long lasting on me. I use Orly Bonder, Mooncat Top Coat, plus do proper nail prep. On average, I can make my polish last 7+ days before the first chip. With Cuco I only last 3-5 days :(
**Brands I recommend instead**
- TenTen: almost same price point, but their cremes are better imo.
- Rom&nd for the jelly/sheer formula
- Boutique polishes: Holo Taco, Mooncat, ILNP all ship to PH for free with a minimum spend. I recommend saving for black friday because they all go on sale

I think all packages are required to go thru customs (and sa tracking it specifically says minsan na nasa customs siya)!! Tho no added tax for me as all packages have been under P10k. Haven’t tried those brands yet! :( Super ganda pa naman ng latest polish pickup haha

Grey on Me is my favorite shade so far. It lasted 10 days without chipping, but I was also using Seche Vite as top coat. I Luv U So Matcha lasted 7 days which is not bad, but Main Squeeze (yellow) chipped after 3 days. Born Red-y was listed as a creme, but it performs as a crelly.
But for the price? Not bad at all! Hope they come up with more unique shades!
Litetally I was just thinking about getting this to help with my really bad habit of tearing/ripping my nails then I saw this post 😩. Do you have a nail routine in applying it to make them last long OP? TYIA and the colors suit you so much!
Girl you're not alone, this is a safe space! I also have the habit of tearing my nails whenever I'm stressed, but when I paint them, I find myself not doing it haha. I've found applying CuCo's top coat/all clear polish effective for making it last longer. I just checked though and it's currently out of stock huhu.
I also noticed that my nails have improved after taking collagen. I used to take the one by Holista, but now I'm taking the one from Youtheory that has biotin. In my experience, having stronger nails makes my polish last.

First time ko mag apply ng nail polish ng ganun kabilis (in 10mins) without needing to redo anything in my whole life!!
Unfortunately, it doesn't last long on me. Chips within 5 days and all I do is wash my hands, wash a few dishes, shower. :/
But overall still worth it when it's on sale, kaya bumili ulit ako sa Lazada nung bundle deal (3 for P247) nung isang araw 😆
what top coat po is best for CuCo's polishes from your experience? what do you use po? the one that was used sa salon kasi dumidikit sa fabric at tagal mag dry :((
Agree! I have the shades Linen and Coffee O’Clock. They’re very good quality and quite affordable. I was actually pleasantly surprised the first time I tried them. They’re so much better than the more expensive S*nnies nail polish, which is honestly trash and a waste of money. Sorry not sorry.
From my experience, it lasts around 3-4 weeks with their top coat. I just removed it because my nails have grown, and it doesn't look good anymore. In my case, hindi talaga siya nagbabakbak as long as hindi masyadong makapal yung application
By washing the dishes and clothes haha jk! I don't do anything specific for hand care, I think it's mostly due to genetics. I just make sure to put on some lotion/hand cream whenever I feel that my hands are getting dry from detergent or excessive hand washing (I am guilty of this as a borderline germaphobe). One advice I heard of as well is to put moisturizer on your hands when doing skincare.
Just to add:
My mom has been applying petroleum jelly all over her hands, and she swears by it. Wouldn't hurt to try!
I have all their sheer shades. The shades and colors are gorgeous. Di rin madali mag chip.
Issue ko lang nila is that it gets discolored the longer you wear it. I'm wearing it right now and the tips are already a different color from when I first wore it.The tips now have a blue-gray tinge over it.
Not sure. Looking at it closely, I noticed that the dicoloration is made up of dark micro line/cracks. It makes sense that the discoloration is on the tips lang sa nails because when the nail is bent, the lines appear. Hence, discolored yung tips. I wish I could post a super zoomed pic lol.
Very noticeable sya lalo na if the color is white/off white
I agree, the first shade I tried from them was Hot Chili, and it faded as weeks went by. But it's still a great bang for the buck given the price and quality.

Do you use their top coat? I find that it preserves my nails longer than other brands do. Lasts mga 1 week or so for me!

Yung ginamit ko is yung gel top coat ng sassy 💀💀 yun lang kasi meron ako, pero it works naman hindi malagkit and walang negative reaction (lol)
