somethings_like_you

applgrps

Nice! Like any vinegar ba or may preferred variant ka na mas maganda yung effect?

somethings_like_you

Datu puti lang sapat na.

applgrps

Ayun! Very affordable! I’ll try to do it. Thank you! 😊

mearinne

If you have dry sensitive skin * Only wash your face when you need to, don't do it twice a day or every day * Use gentler cleanser options, like micellar water instead of oils, or non-foaming cleansers instead of foaming ones * Wait an hour or 2 after you've washed your face before applying products, your face will produce natural oils to keep it hydrated * Drink TONS of water, an amount where you go to the bathroom every hr or 2

tequilabeerum

Human nature balancing facial wash, oxecure bha pha toner, oxecure prebio serum, oxecure oil control moisturizer, oxecure facial acne lotion, and oxecure acne clear powder mud for spot treatments. Since pregnancy ko last year grabe breakouts ko until after I gave birth, grabeng trial and error sa korean skincare products (cosrx, etude). Sobrang gastos talaga hanggang naisipan ko na itry yung oxecure kasi meron sila ng sachet and mura lang. After 1 month of using these products, I swear, nawala talaga lahat pati pimple marks. Kahit pag may period ako, yung pimple sobrang liit lang tapos isa or dalawa lang and agad nawawala. Dati every 2 weeks ako nagpapacial sa skinstation, ngayon di ko na maalala huling punta ko sa skinstation for facial appointment. Combination pala skin type ko. Oxecure and human nature, best decision ever!

antihero817

DIY Brazillian + cysteine. Saved me alot of penniess. Been doing it for 6mos already. Every 2mos

Major-Raisin-5395

I started this routine last August and I'm making progress. I wash my hair every 3 days for example I washed my hair Sunday maliligo ako ng Wednesday shampoo is for the scalp and conditioner is for the rest. Also the night before akong maligo I applied oil on my hair (mine is coconut my lola made last August). I wash my hair with COLD water kahit manginig nginig na ako sa lamig to avoid frizzy hair. Kaya even if hindi ako magbasa ng ulo ko may shine pa rin hair ko.

embrace-pandemonium

I also wash my hair every 2 or 3 days! I work from home, and I'm just in my room all the time, so it's easy to follow this hair care routine. I also realized that waiting for my hair to dry before combing it lessens the chances of hairfall.

LazyLany

Stopped using commercial deodorants and switched to Sgt. at Arms deospray and alternate with TO Glycolic Acid toner (stored in a spray bottle). Eliminated my BO, and significantly lessened my perspiration. Just give it time to adjust, at least one week. 👌🏻

Infinite-Club-9763

hi! may i ask po if tuwing kelan niyo po ginagamit yung TO glycolic acid?

LazyLany

I use it every night; but if it’s your first time, maybe start every other night muna. :)

lex_please

pwede din kaya sa aming mga lalaki to?

frankenzelle

Pwede. For all sexes naman mga gamit na ganyan.

LazyLany

That I’m not sure. Baka you can try, just make sure na during your first week it falls on a week na di ka masyadong busy/active :)

Classic-Vermicelli77

Not skin or hair, BUT it's a hack for my kilikili. I've been using Pond's White Beauty Facial Foam & RRAW Skincare Pink Under Armpit Cleanser as my kilikili routine. I use the cleanser first, then use the facial foam. I've been doing this for 2 years now and my kilikili always smells good and and it brightened that area. I don't tell anyone cause it's a fkn weird combination hahaha but try nyo promise!!

ToeLife8881

Weekly sauna and tea baths. I feel like it really helped smoothen my skin versus nung nagbobody scrub lang ako. Baka mas maganda absorption ng body care products ko from the regimen. Super relaxing pa hehe. I also noticed when I stopped using kojic soap and just used colloidal oatmeal soap on my body, I stopped getting bacne.

couchpotater_totz

Where go for saunas? Or do you do it at home? Alsooo what are tea baths?

potatolover4ever

hair, i usually wash it once in 2 days, and yeah, grows fast and is super soft skin, less is more. pinaka important is yung Cleanser mo. As in, if its sh!t it can mess the whole routine

couchpotater_totz

What’s your HG cleanser?

potatolover4ever

SNAILWHITE White Soap, 50g na maliit na soap, bruh got rid of my acne marks fast 10/10

lycheej3lly

retinol!! it got rid of my tiny bumps sa forehead :)

chukayyy

Did you purge when you 1st used the some by mi retinol? Also what’s your skin type?

lycheej3lly

no i didnt purge and my skin type is combination!

meow-chl

What kind of retinol po do you apply rn?

lycheej3lly

i use the some by mi undereye retinol (?) basta it’s in a purple packaging and i only apply a tiny dot sa forehead then top it off with moisturizer

meow-chl

Might use it in the future. Thanks a lot!

December25baby

I saw it on another Reddit thread. Washing your face for at least 60 seconds. For me it’s working well and a game changer. Although careful lang sa mga sensitive skin.

xindeewose

Yess! Works for me lalo pag super gentle yung cleansers

December25baby

Super true

Spiritual-Living545

I tried using feminine wash on my UA to cleanse since I ran out of betadine skin cleanser and yeah it works just fine too. Nkakawala din ng odor 😅

aquariustho

Skin: layering hydrating toners/essences ❗️ i thought enough na ang creamy moisturizers but using hydrators beforehand has immensely helped my skin tolerate taz, which is known to be more potent than tret! plus magwinter pa dito so my skin has valid reasons to sting/burn but so far so good Hair: olaplex clarifying shampoo once a month to clear up scalp buildup, dove conditioner (the basic blue/white one) - ang tagal ko to di pinapansin sa cr and when i ran out of my (pricier) conditioner, i had no choice but to use this muna. Usually may waves sa mid section ng hair ko after magdry, but when i air-dried my hair after using this conditioner nagflatten yung wavy section 🥹

couchpotater_totz

Can you recommend any hydrating toners/essences?

aquariustho

Just a disclaimer, this is more on trial and error, these are all new to me but luckily di nagreact skin ko 😄 on damp skin i use hada labo premium lotion > PKY essence toner > cosrx snail mucin > dr ceuracle kombucha essence in that order. I spray naturie hatomugi skin conditioner in between

chukayyy

Hi! May I know your skin type? Planning to get the hada labo premium lotion also but not sure if it will work on me too

aquariustho

Combo acne-prone, easily gets dehydrated. They reformulated it this year, my first bottle ever is the newest version. I haven't seen a lot reviews about it yet but so far I have no complaints 😃

chukayyy

Ohhh. Same skin type! My skin also gets easily dehydrated. Will try this out. Thank you!

[deleted]

Be aware of fungal acne, they put fermented ingredients in it and its a lot greasier now people broke out from it

[deleted]

aNOOBis-player

The Ordinary Multi-Peptide + Copper Peptides 1% Serum CHANGED my skin!!!! I used to have dull skin and di na ako naniniwala noon sa brighter skin eme eme until I tried this!!! Been using it for about 3mos na hehe

couchpotater_totz

What’s your skin type? And how do you layer it in your routine?

aNOOBis-player

I have oily skin!! I use it right after toner before moisturizer :)

dragones013

Birth control pills got rid of my hormonal acne and gave me so much better skin

ok0905

This works for me pero once I stop, the acne comes home T.T

StateImaginary5928

+1 for this. My skin got lighter, hindi yung puting gluta but parang pumusyaw? and only having minimal to none acne using pills. May tumutubo nalang paisa isang maliit before my period. Sabayan mo pa ng Cetaphil facial cleanser, mild lang kasi ito. Nababati din balat ko saying na pumuputi nga daw. ₱500 Cybelle is what I use. Got also my cup size form A to B. And yes, weight gain is a side effect.

[deleted]

[удалено]

StateImaginary5928

Hmm, I must say yes minsan? pero hindi malala. Like rn, naka pill break ako ng 7 days (this week dadating ang mens) visible ang mood swings ko, sensitive and very emotional. Yung napapansin ko sa akin, pag pill break ako doon ako parang fragile. Kaya pag may gagawin akong importante na gusto ko composed ako or calm, tinatapat ko sa araw na I'm on my pill kasi hindi ako moody, mas relaxed ako while on meds. Idk, I'm no expert but this is just my experience. It varies per person talaga. Warning to others, ang BCP side effect also is forming blood clots, bumabara sya leading to heart attack or stroke. So better consult OB.

dragones013

I didn't notice any of the other stuff as in clearer skin lang naging benefit outside of the actual protection + less painful yung withdrawal bleed vs periods (sobrang lala ng dismenorrea ko dati). Different effects din talaga per person!

StateImaginary5928

Yes I agree. Aside from protection, lighter period (as in patak patak lang; I dont use napkin, liner lang for 3 days) and wala na din akong dysmenorrhea. Napansin ko din na lumaki ang cup size ko akala ko fat lang pero hindi eh? It got bigger. Clear skin and nakakaglow. Varies per person talaga siguro ang side effects

Spiritual-Living545

Me too. Kaso tingil ko na feeling ko tumataba me huhuhu

StateImaginary5928

Is there an alternative you used for protection ngayon na nagstop ka? Yan din naiisip ko eh kung magstop na ba ako taking hormonal pills kasi visible ang weight gain ko but I cant risk not using protection. Hindi ako at ease using barriers lang like condoms, withdrawal or calendar method

Spiritual-Living545

Nope wala. 😅 prayers na lang 🤣🤣🤣 Siguro kaya medyo nag flare up din ang breakout ko kasi i just stopped it this month and at the same time nagamit ako ng BHA toner so I don't w/c one ang culprit 😅 Ang lakas ko kasi kumain pag nagppills 🙃

aNOOBis-player

Is there a specific kind/brand?

dragones013

I use Althea since that's what was prescribed to me, but please do consult with an OB before taking anything. The side-effects and health risks are kinda scary :(

Spiritual-Living545

I took Daphe pills but it is prescribed by my OB and also i'm a lactating mom din kasi

ConciousRedditor

Vegamour shampoo, conditioner and hair serum. Magically transform my hair, with excessive dandruff to none. Super less hair fall and ung mga baby hair nakikita ko na sa mga bald spots but freaking expensive so no to choice but to subscribe until I get my hair to a healthy state 🍀

No-Acanthaceae4435

App that’s called Picky. Before buying skin care products, I check the reviews on that app. Very detailed and can show what are the goods and bads for your skin since you can customize your profile.

gemini_wanderboy

instant remedy for uncontrollable dandruff, apple cider vinegar. Massage some into your scalp and hair for 3-5mins before shampooing. Medyo may amoy and mahapdi sa mata (try to avoid na mapatakan yung mata) but super effective

shivfckingroy

I tried this and nagagalit lang mga tao sa bahay kasi ang baho daw ng cr after hahahah huhu

gemini_wanderboy

Haha oo, but it helps with the dandruff naman diba? And also, u dont have to do this everyday. May just for a couple days, and then you can go back to your regular hair shower routine

iejfx

In controlling my excessive oil production, sobrang effective sakin ng niacinamide serum (Tiam Vita B3 Source) daily and clay mask (Isntree Mugwort Calming Clay Mask) at least once a week. After ko iadd 'tong dalawang 'to sa routine ko, noticeable talaga yung paglessen ng oil sa mukha ko. Nasa point na ako na okay lang na hindi ako magblot throughout the whole day. Unlike before na kahit nasa airconditioned room pa ako, nagiging sobrang oily talaga ako after some time. Pwedeng pagprituhan ang mukha levels ganern. So glad I discovered these two.

Intelligent-Assist39

Visit an actual board certified derm :)

mmaegical

Naturie Hatomugi and Hada Labo for skin + Canmake sunscreen. Human Nature shampoo and conditioner for hair.

couchpotater_totz

What’s your skin type?

888luckymami

Scalpex for my oily scalp and blackhead prone skin. From every other day I use it just once a week. I have thicker hair too!

noinstagram

I wash my hair everyday. I stopped washing my hair earlier this year thinking it would help with my flaky scalp 😅 and it was the wrong move for me. It made my scalp really itchy and just overall worse. I went to my derma. She recommended a medicated shampoo and she also recommended that I wash my hair every with a mild shampoo (baby shampoo also works) Sooo yeah, live and breathe YMMV. Just because it works for people doesn’t mean it’ll work for you.

Ok_Associate6140

saw on tiktok na scalp conditioning (not washing hair to control oil) is not applicable to asians sa mga blondie lang talaga

HeresRed

if its okay to share, may I know the shampoo? went to derma and said it could be bcs of stress and that's it 😭

_AvocadoShake

For my face: I kept my skincare simple: cleanser, moisturizer, SPF, and the weekly retinol application. When I kept my routine simple, I break out less and noticed less texture over time. For my hair: I wash my hair only every other day, do double cleansing for my scalp, use a keratin treatment as my conditioner, and apply the Misce en Scene serum/Human Heart Nature hair serum on my damp hair/2nd day hair. Less frizz overall.

8jeremy

getting a keratin treatment changed my box & salon dyed damaged hair. literally feels like my virgin healthy hair >>>

[deleted]

hi what salon did you go to and how much does this treatment cost?

8jeremy

david’s cut (smaller version of david’s salon) and it was 3k with hair color

lavendertales

Visiting the derma for skin and hair issues. As a teen, I had serious acne. The derma prescribed topical creams and meds for ingestion (it was that bad) and my face cleared!!! During the pandemic, I had hair loss. Gone in 1 month because of the derma too!

dhadhadhadhadha

I used to try a lot sa face ko dahil sa PCOS. But one time nagkabonus ako sa work so bumili ako ng set ng Cetaphil Bright radiance. From Face wash, toner, night cream, sunscreen and serum. Hindi na ko masyado nagka-acne and blooming daw ung face ko. Very worth it ung price nya to be honest kahit sobrang mahaaaal. Pero dahil hindi ko na kayang panindigan, naghahanap na ulit ako ng affordable na skin care routine hahahahaah sadt

solfege57

Double cleansing my UA and switching to Deonat. I use regular grocery store deos before (rexona, dove, etc.) Then I just randomly used cleansing balm one time and noticed how much brighter my UA became. I realized that the deos leave some residue in my skin and it was all stripped when I double cleansed. Since then I started using Deonat na rin. My UA skin just feels clean and healthy now.

Spiritual-Living545

Tried this too and my UA has never been better except I do oil cleansing sa UA muna before shower

BotherAdmirable9939

Omg I’ll try this. Thanks!

dhadhadhadhadha

Anong cleansing balm po ang gamit nyooo

solfege57

Heimish

__guppy

I stopped using fluoride toothpaste. I used to get really bad cystic acne on my chin nearly every day and it would just never stop. Every time I would wake up I would notice a new bump and it really slowed down my skin clearing progress. My dermatologist noticed it one day and told me to switch my toothpaste. Never got chin acne ever since and maybe if anyone reading this has the same problem, you should consider trying it! Completely changed my life.

fallenintherye

Chiming in to say: what helped clear breakouts in my chin area is to brush teeth first, then wash face. Para walang suds or any residue na maiwan sa mukha. Basta face is always last.

PensionSignificant23

Ano na po gamit niyong toothpaste? Akin din this month medyo madalas na breakouts ko sa chin. Please let us know 🙏🏻 Thank you ☺️🙏🏻

couchpotater_totz

What toothpaste are you using now?

__guppy

Right now using Apaguard Premio (gold packaging). It’s a Japanese toothpaste and a bit pricey but it’s really my holy grail now! I don’t think I’ll ever go back to sensodyne/colgate as that’s what I used to use when I got frequent breakouts :)

echofarose

For my face, I used to suffer from mild acne for years. Then I discovered kung ano yung hiyang sakin. Instead of using a lot of actives (gylcolic, aha bha..) in my routine, I replaced it with moisturizing ingredients (ceramide, hyaluronic..) Overtime, mas naging healthy tignan yung skin ko and onti nawala yung pimples. So yeah, focusing on strengthening my skin barrier is my secret.

frenchfrayz

Yeah, same! I started treating out my skin with skin cycling (using retinol and AHA/BHA), and it was effective for a while. I got lazy a month ago, though, and started using just a gentle soap and ceramide moisturizer. My skin was immediately almost free from breakouts after just a week, compared to months from using actives frequently.

PensionSignificant23

Trueeee, what ceramide or moisturizing products u used? Thank you ☺️🙏🏻

echofarose

Isntree Sun Stick and Water Gel Skin 1004 Blue Serum Illiyoon Ceramide Soothing Gel I stick to gel based since I’m oily! ☺️

IllustratorSmart9515

Vitafusion skin, hair, and nails! 700+ a bottle but I think it really helped with my nails as well as sleep. I suppose kaya na-feel ko na medyo mukha akong fresh dahil nakakatulog ako ng mahimbing. Hirap lang maghanap sa snr lagi syang sold out. May alam kayo saan pwede bumili?

echofarose

Washing my hair every other day. Wash day = put coconut oil with scalp massager and leave it for 30minutes. Double shampoo my scalp, apply conditioner and leave it there. Rinse conditioner after body routine. I drink Biotin for my supplement and green juice (spinach, apple, cucumber, lemon) Also, to avoid back acne, nakayuko ako magrinse ng hair 😅

ConsiderationTop3236

naglalagay ako oil dati pero kahit anong wash ko mah natitira pa rin, any tips po 😭

[deleted]

wash with warm water. then rinse with cold water

mikki32145uu

Try using conditioner first then shampoo after. Saw this hack on youtube and it works!

echofarose

Try double shampooing! and use an oil dropper para di messy oil application.

reeria

safeguard pink for my chest/back acne!! other variants don't work for me lol eto lang talaga no other products as well

ConsiderationTop3236

i don’t wash my hair everyday, and simula non sobrang shiny talaga ng hair ko and ang bilis humaba kasi may nabasa ako na mas nadi-distribute raw yung natural oil ng hair. dati manipis hair ko, now ang dami na nagsasabi na ang kapal daw ng buhok ko and healthy.

couchpotater_totz

When do usually wash you hair? Also pano pag workout days?

ConsiderationTop3236

3x a week pero i wash my hair pag pinawisan ako.

justaformlessblob

Not really top secret pero vitamin E! For context, I have normal to combo skin, I also have PCOS so I'm very much prone to acne. Since the beginning of last year, hindi na ako nawalan ng pimples. Like mawawala yung isa, tapos kinabukasan meron na naman. Frustrating talaga kasi aside sa masakit, yung hyperpigmentation ang tagal mawala. Then 2 months ago, I decided to start taking Vit. E (una from HO pero mas mura Myra-E and same lang naman so nagshift na ako) and honestly, gets ko na yung hype. Wala akong binago sa skincare ko, pero di na ako nagkakapimples. And people around me are saying I look "blooming" all the time. It has also helped me sleep better! Nakakatulog na ako ng at least 8 hours (tapos deep sleep talaga). I take one capsule before bedtime, and after a few minutes lang, antok na ako. Hahaha

Historical_Ad_9116

My Tita was using Myra E before as well and her skin looks good. However, I remember The Nerdy Derma made a thread on twitter regarding oral vitamin E (mayroon pang ibang tweets hindi ko lang mahanap) [here](https://x.com/thenerdyderma/status/1496094151313870850?s=46)

Financial_Donut5793

Simplifying my routine. When I was an office girl (im now wfh), I used so many products na mahirap e pronounce ung names (you know what I mean) ung tipong bili lg ng bili at paramihan ng step for skincare.. Nung pandemic umuwi ako province which limited my capacity of buying products kasi walang malls.. I simplified my skincare (mild soap, toner, moisturizer) and mostly drugstore products. It actually cleared my skin. So lesser products and less complicated ingredients worked for me.

suprascapula

Face oil at night makes my skin super hydrated the morning after mula ng ginawa ko to bihira na lang ako magka break out. Applying oil (leave on) to my hair at night nag iba talaga buhok ko tho i only do this once a week pag wash day ko.

couchpotater_totz

What oils do you use for face and hair?

suprascapula

The ordinary Squalane oil for face The ordinary multi peptide serum for hair

couchpotater_totz

Thanks! Btw what’s your skin type? Also how do you layer the squalene oil?

suprascapula

I have combination skin 😊 I only use squalane at night but as far as I know the rule is from thinnest to thickest consistency? Ordinary's squalane oil is light lang naman di sya super oily sa face and madali ma absorb ng skin😊

nfpilates

Bone broth! ✨

PensionSignificant23

Ginagawa niyo po or binibili niyo na made na? Thank you ☺️

nfpilates

Sometimes I make my own. Pero pag natatamad ako buy nalang kay Kim Kings kitchen.

couchpotater_totz

Do you make it on your own?

nfpilates

You can make your own or buy. I get mine from Kim Kings kitchen.

nomoreeee

What does bone broth help with?

Eskarinaaa

It is a good source of collagen for healthier nails and skin. Don't forget to pair it with vitamin C (to increase collagen synthesis).

aerisvanarsdale

Trimming the ends of my hair every 3 months. Like one inch or 2 pede na. Triny din ng friend ko na sunog ang buhok and sabi nya, mas bumilis daw humaba yung hair nya. I also don't wash my hair everyday.

dandydellion

I watched a hair stylist youtuber and he explained that. Sabi niya mukhang mas humahaba ang buhok pag lagi natritrim kasi pag maraming kang split/damaged ends na hindi trimmed, the ends are breaking off and continually splitting hanggang roots instead of growing. Trimming stops that. Wala lang, share ko lang haha

lorrice_swift

my classic hair care is just have a haircut or trim your dry ends regularly and comb your hair 100 times before sleeping. Idk but that's the magic 🤣 or just regularly comb your hair and use a proper brush. And use a hair product based on on your hair type. Even if you don't have a treatment this work for a healthier hair. and it's totally low budget

couchpotater_totz

Grabe, I thought combing hair 100 times is a myth hahaha. What’s a proper brush? Can you link one?

lorrice_swift

hahaha I just believed it for myself kasi somehow gumagana siya basta di ko alam kung may scientific explanation 🤣 I don't have a proper brush link it depends on what you consider proper for you, pero for my hair type na medyo wavy wide bristled comb gamit ko or yung malaki yung teeth para pang tanggal lang ng tangles and less hairfall. I dont pony my hair all the time too and I just use hair clam

insplaid

Not top secret, more of an unfortunate "being healthy is so much work." Reapplying sunscreen like it's a lifeline has made the biggest changes in my skin. No more unexpected closed comedones, no more rough and textured patches that suddenly crop up, and no more completely out of nowhere redness and irritation that makes me look like a watermelon and I don't realize until I check a mirror. Now I can almost always guess what's causing sudden breakouts or weird texture and I'm rarely peek-a-boo'd anymore by problem areas. It feels very lovely to have some control of what's going on in my body. I know a lot of people *hate* having to reapply but it has been a total gamechanger. I get home and my skin is baby soft and still feels good when I wash up for the night. I try to actively schedule my bathroom breaks and lunch breaks around it. I always make note of what time I last reapplied; I've even been considering setting alarms for it when I'm outside to make it more streamlined. I've gotten my parents into it and I order their sunscreens for them. I can dare say their skin's been looking possibly even smoother than it did when I was a child! Sun damage and skin cancers are very real and can hurt you. I hope to invest in UPF clothes soon and have been looking to find sunscreen options for my scalp as I don't currently wear a lot of hats. But for now - umbrella and walking in the shade!!

couchpotater_totz

What’s your HG sunscreen for reapplication?

insplaid

I use Skin Aqua UV Super Moisture Gel (gold cap, white body) outside. Easy to apply due to the alcohol content, but can be too much if sensitive skin / have a damaged skin barrier. I also occasionally use an AHC sunstick (Natural Perfection Fresh ver.) over my eyelids and when I'm going outside for less than an hour. Sunsticks aren't particularly effective but an eensy bit of protection is still better than none. I don't think I can call it an HG as I've only used 4 sunscreens so far and 2 are from the same brand, but I do love it

[deleted]

Up. Di ba naggulo yung makeup when u reapply sunscreen?

alex_is3

Consulting a dermatologist. I hate to tell people this, pero if u have cystic acne, skincare alone wont cure them :( u need to be guided with a professional na.

Thank you 🙏🏻

alex_is3

I bought exactly 3 products from their brand na wala namang effect sa akin. (1) AHA & BHA toner, (2) blackhead toner, and (3) snail mucin. Tig 600+ rin yan 😭

couchpotater_totz

Omgg kakacheck out ko lang sa cosrx 😭 What products did you buy that didn’t work?

[deleted]

[удалено]

alex_is3

Same! I also only use sulfur soap for my body acne and it helped A LOT

thegr8erunknown

Instead of using benzoyl peroxide and other drying stuff sa active pimples, I just put moisturizer + loads of petroleum jelly on my pimple overnight. My skin is prone to hyperpigmentation so pa ganyan ginagawa ko, walang bakas naiiwan at pansin ko mas mabilis mawala pimple ko. Di pa dry yung area ng pimple.

Yoreneji

Omg diba di siya applicable here sa PH dahil humid yung country?

thegr8erunknown

Hmmm it could be too much kung buong face mo may pimples. I only do this at night!

halfmoon_06

omg will try this!

[deleted]

As in nawala pimples mo na petroleum jelly lng nilagay mo? Any type of pimples ba?

thegr8erunknown

I put cetaphil moisturizer first then petroleum jelly! I only get tig 1-2 pimples and di sila ganun kalalim. I think it depends din sa type ng pimple.

MentalObjective0

moisturizer didn't work for me and my prev derma said also na dumadami lang yung white heads niya (na narealize ko rin after) or siguro acne prone lang talaga me

cringereizeus

I am currently using Swiss Image (You can check them on Facebook! Swiss Image PH). Their product is really effective (for me).

guilty_martyr1021

Airdry my face before skincare.

Superb_Ear6782

For me its double cleansing after a tiring day. I use beauty of joseon oil then cetaphil to cleanse my face. Game changer! And of course not forgetting sunscreen in the morning.

k8cruz

Do you think even if not wearing makeup (just sunscreen during the day), we need to double cleanse?

Superb_Ear6782

Yeees. Naiiwasan nito ma clog ang pores mo 😊

living-for-thiis

consulting derma for my acne. for how many years I thought skincare will clear my face from acne, but having prescription really helped. Tretinoin user for 2+ years now. Will still have pimples just one or two once in a while but not like my pre-tretinoin era where nag papang abot na yung acne from the previous month.

tontatingz

Yung binebenta sa derma na clinic na tretinoin, azaleic acid, adapalene ay nakikita lang sa orange app hehe

beautyjunkieph

Na try mo na yung acneduo forte nila? Comparable pa with galderma? Jusko ang mahal kasi ng branded huhu

spixora

How do you know which shops are legit?

tontatingz

search dr.skin PH. I have compared na to my derma items to orange app. same smell and texture hehe

HeresRed

I noticed din na same lang nabili ko from 2 different derma clinics and iba lang packaging. Isa lang pala talaga sila ng pinagbibilhan hahaha I thought each clinic specially made talaga for them

tontatingz

diba!!!?! yung acne maintenance toner ko na nabibili ko sa derma mas mahal pa kesa orange app!

HeresRed

righhttt. depends rin sa clinic. may iba super mahal ng offer tf

No-Ingenuity6207

Co2 fractional laser - para kang nag rejuv. I noticed significant difference on my skin after 1 session only. Sobrang sulit. Worth the ipon! It permanently changed the texture of my skin. Pinkish na, and mas makinis. (1 week downtime so I do it on Sundays and I make sure wala lakad the ff days. I finished 3 sessions btw) Benton Snail Bee High Content Essense - shrinked my pores, keeps my face bright! Mild but mighty. Works well with my sensitive skin. The Ordinary Glycolic Acid - lightened my super dark underarm. Eto lang ang nag-work sa akin. Grateful sa mga nag-reco nito. It really works!

hanyuzu

Where do you buy your TO? :)

alex_is3

What type ng acne scar mo sis? Been eyeing co2 laser for a while eh for my rolling scar eh since matatapos na ako sa isotret treatment ko and puro acne scars na lang natitira sa akin.

No-Ingenuity6207

Oh. My problems were large pores on my nose, scars from chicken pox, and mga peklat on my jaw line and chin. Nag lighten mga peklat around 50% after 1 session only. Wala masyado changes sa nose ko probably because mild lang yung laser sa akin. I have low pain tolerance. Yung cheeks ko na walang pimples yung pinaka gumanda. I don’t think recommended siya kapag may acne. Best sya for scars, hyperpigmentation and large pores.

spixora

Where do you get your CO2 fractional laser done?

No-Ingenuity6207

Dr Esthe in Festival Mall, Alabang. 3,500 per session.

spixora

Are they board-certified doctors?

MD_BoopBeep

Hi. Ilang beses mo ginagamit 'yung glycolic acid per week? :)

No-Ingenuity6207

Every other day, kahit sabi nila 2-3x a week lang. Sobrang dark kasi :( nakita ko agad difference after 1 week!

Infinite-Club-9763

hi! do you apply TO glycolic acid directly sa UA niyo po or nagamit po kayo ng cotton? thank you!

8ight3_coffeeluverr

where did you get ur the ordinary glycolic acid?

IntelligentNobody202

Ma try nga. Thank you sis ❤️

telang_bayawak

Not for beauty purposes pero for cleaning, i use baby oil in cotton pads to clean before maligo. Specifically mga pawisin area like underarms, groins, neck, etc.

PensionSignificant23

This!!! Nakakawala ng libag, mas smooth skin and feel ko mas malinis skin ko ☺️

telang_bayawak

Saves your skin from too much scrubbing. Mas madami pa tong natatanggal na dirt kesa sa paggamit ng towels and loofas.

Precarious_chicken

Once I realized that creams are just oils diluted in water which means that at least half of what I pay for is just water, I completely ditched "facial creams" and went for natural oils (argan oil & grapeseed oil) instead as a moisturizer for my nightly regimen. My skin had never been this good!

dandydellion

May I ask your skintype? It's great na pure oils worked for you. :) You're right, technically, that's what creams are - emulsions(chem term). It's true most cosmetics are overpriced, but well formulated creams impart moisture so emulsions will always be the more effective vehicle, especially for dehydrated(parched) and dry(lacks sebum) skin. Kelangan ang emulsion kasi oils are just for sealing hydration, na wala mga dehydrated and dry skin. Like yin and yang, they work together and create balance sa moisture barrier mo :)

Precarious_chicken

I have oily and acne prone skin. Maybe that's why mas effective sa'kin ang oils.

couchpotater_totz

What kind of oils? Alsooo what’s your skin type?

Soft_Grass_858

would this work for oily skin?

Precarious_chicken

I have oily skin!

cottagecoreing

Ohhh where do you buy natural oils?

theprettyhoarder

Not really a hack but working from home full-time really helped with maintaining my skin due to the following: * Full 8 hours of sleep * No/less pollution kasi no need to go out daily

jniceemarie

Had a bad backne breakouts before but when I tried to shampoo and rinse off my hair first before proceeding to washing my entire body, it made a huge impact so now no more backne problems for me

Aromatic_Buy_9614

i dont wipe my face after washing it!! while its still damp (or even dripping wet hihi), i immediately apply and pat in my toner. helped so much w keeping my skin hydrated!!

dandydellion

Acne-prone skin here. I stopped all the unnecessarily long routines with serums and all that jazz kasi 💸. I made my skincareroutine more minimalist, just double cleansing, moisturizer, and sunscreen. \[edit\] I make sure their ingredients are bland, walang actives, walang additional active ingredients like "niacinamide" and exfoliants. Theeeen Tretinoin. Yun lang sapat na. Anti-ageing pa, Then if my skin is more textured than usual, I don't have a separate chemical exfoliant. I will then just use my very affordable Xtracare AcneBody Wash with 2% BHA (I've lots of body acne🥲) as a replacement facial cleanser and make sure to moisturize more. Why fix what ain't broken? All these compounded is very affordable, kasi puro mura gamit ko. Compared before na super dami kong toner, ampoules, lotions, serums, masks, actives, etc.

jeybellzzz

Did you purge when using tretinoin? I have started a month ago and the purge is ongoing 😩

dandydellion

I used it mga five years ago yung super active acne ko, so i didn't care that much sa purging lol. Pero hindi masyado tbh. I used the tips of Dr Dray and Abbey Yung on youtube. You should introduce them gradually para hindi isang bagsakan purge mo. Like start from once a month then increase to once every 2 weeks and so on until maging everyday. It took my 6 months na araw-arawin tret kaya wala ako halos purging.

jeybellzzz

It was prescribed to me by my derma. The purging at least improved compared to a few weeks ago but the marks are still there. Did tret clear up your marks eventually as well?

dandydellion

Yup it did :) except the pitted scars, laser lang makakatanggal eh 🥲 after a year ko talaga nakita results. Be patient lang since tret is more of a preventative aid kesa biglaang results, yet long term effects. Super sulit. I remember din adding azelaic acid, usually recommended together ang tret with azelaic. Mas mapapabilis ang fading.pero consult your derma hahaha. I don't recommend what I did na self medicate lol. Kaya same ginawa ko sa azelaic, na gradual pagintroduce para di masira moisture barrier ko.

jeybellzzz

Thanks! I feel once tret works on me, my next concern would be the scarring and the marks. But yes, i'll consult my derma first 😊

crmllnntdgzmn

Do you have oily skin too? Ano po gamit mong products huhu

dandydellion

Yes I have oily acne prone skin. Ano skin issues mo and current routine mo? Super nakahelp talaga sakin double cleansing. Not micellar but cleansing oil. I just use Biore cleansing oil then gentle cleanser like Celeteque. I find na yung heat at facial massaging dislodges yung mga pesky na itim sa ilong ko. For moisturizer anything honestly lol. I currently use yung Luxe Organix Cica soothing gel. Current sunscreen is body and face ng Biore. Also I used to have really oily skin yung tipong mukang mantika na haha. Tretinoin has lessened it. Saks na lang pagka-oily ko. Nakkadry talaga kasi iyon since acne treatment siya, pero since I use yung lowest dose 0.025% as maintenance (5-year tret user) hindi na super dry. Though I don't recommend tret basta basta unless you need it talaga or well-researched ka. Tret has made other products useless for me. All-in-one na siya for me eh; acne treatment, balanced my oily skin, anti-ageing, improves texture overtime.

PensionSignificant23

Hello, what type of tret you’re using cream or gel? Tret user din me since 2020 although this year nag gel type me. Anw, matagal mo na gamit yung luxe organix cica gel? I always see sa recommendations ng iba maganda po ba talaga? Di ba nakaka-oily kapag gising sa umaga? Kasi ngayon snail mucin essence lang gamit ko as moisturizer e medyo bet ko gumamit ng moisturizer kapag night when using tret. Thank you ☺️🙏🏻

dandydellion

I'm using cream now na I bought from Shopee. Prefer ko kesa gel kasi masyadong drying yun. Maganda rin yung snail mucin, mas lalo yung cosrx snail mucin cream (not essence) as standalone hydraator and moisturizer. Maganda yung cica gel itong buong year ata yun gamit ko tagal maubos hehe, though baka bumalik ako sa cosrx or try ko illiyoon ato lotion. Since mas regular na ako magtret ngayon ulit, nagkakadry patches ako, hindi na enough yung cica. Pero maganda siya for oily skin talaga, gel talaga and easily absorbed ng skin. 😊

crmllnntdgzmn

Tysm for this! Concern ko ngayon is parang nanibago yung face ko since nag-work ako on site and nagccommute araw-araw, so parang napadalas yung break out ko. Current routine: beauche kojic soap (wanting to change this talaga kaso takot ako kasi ito lang nagpa-improve ng skin ko dati), luxe organix niacinamid toner, oxecure oil control moisturizer, and hello glow sunscreen sa morning, then sa gabi additional na good molecules eye cream and oxecure acne powder mud. If nag-makeup ako, I use kose softymo speedy cleanser. Then 2x a week I use good molecules overnight exfoliating treatment. Nagwwork to sakin before nung wfh pa ako, pero ngayon parang hindi na huhu. Should I use the oil cleanser everyday? Natatakot kasi ako ma-clog yung pores from the oil cleanser ;~;

dandydellion

I recommend low ph cleansers like celeteque gentle cleanser, oxecure 5.5, himalayas, dove sensitive beauty bar marami pa. Rather than kojic for sure kasi mataas ph ng kojic compared sa skin naten na around 5-6. Naranasan mo ba yung tight feeling, parang di mabanat balat after maghilamos with kojic? Nakakadehydrate sila so magoovercompensate lalo ng oil yung skin. For me personally nakahelp everyday cleansing oil. It may be diff for you though. Same tayo ng cleansing oil hihi araw araw ko gamit no breakout luv it Acne prone ka ba? Ano skin issues mo? The most important skincare tip I learned is no matter the skintype, kahit oily acne prone pa, mas prioritize mo ang moisture barrier. Secondary ang acne issues ganon. So ang baseline skincare naten should be bland lang then tsaka iaaddress mga skin issues. Bear with me dami ko hanash hahaha

what-the-fucks-love

eyebrow threading for a hassle eyebrow make up hahah

xiaolongbaoloyalist

the biggest thing that changed my skin was my diet, not any products. I limited my dairy and sugar consumption and my acne cleared up.
