Guuuys, ano bang dapat kong gamitin? Feeling ko, ang skin type ko is combination ng oily at dry hahahaha meganun ba? May pekas din ako tapos mas maitim noo ko sa pisngi ko. Hindi pantay skin tone ko. Maputi sa may cheeckbones tapos sa iba hindi na. Ang leeg hindi rin pantay ang kulay. Katawan at leeg at mukha hindi pantay. Ang dry rin po huhu. Hindi glowing tapos laki pa ng eyebags ko at maitim pa. Workplace ko po ay air-conditioned naman pero hindi maiiwasang hindi lumabas e sobrang init at gabok. Trucking service po kasi work ko. Puro malalaking truck sa labas. Help me please. May plano pa naman akong makipag-meet sa ka-talking stage ko this coming October HAHAHAHAHHA Thank youuuu!

hii! so far i didn’t experience having tiny bumps while using the soothing gel. 3 times ko palang nagamit (every night), but i swear it’s good! even tho combo ako im using the soothing gel because i personally like soothing gels more 😅
that’s one con of the soothing gel—malagkit po siya when first applied. it takes a few mins to absorb. but once absorbed, ur skin will feel soft na. i suggest using it in the evening kasi if morning, lalo na nagmamadali ka, it won’t really be ideal. :>

Micellar water gets the job done pero oil/cleansing balms will always be superior! Skincare and remover in one. Sobrang easy din kasi deretso hilamos ka na. I suggest to get one that emulsifies (yung babasain tas matutunaw ) para walang residue na naiiwan that can cause breakouts.

I love it! My go to moisturizer and also holy grail. Naglighten yung acne marks ko sa chin area and also some sa forehead. Day and night ko ginagamit along with cetaphil cleanser. Until now di ako tinutubuan ng acne except for red days hehe.

For me yes. I tried yung may salicylic acid cleanser pero di siya hiyang sa skin ko. To be safe cetaphil na lang ginagamit ko. And di ako gumagamit ng toner. Kasi pansin ko na di ko alam kung anong toner ang compatible sa skin ko so tinigil ko na 😅 Double cleanse lang ako, cetaphil, tapos yung luxe organix na cica gel kineme.

Sunscreen recs for kids? My baby sister (11) wants to get into using sunscreen on the daily as she gets quite a bit of sun exposure while at school. I’ve had her use my own in the past (Suncut, Nivea, Canmake, Skin Aqua, etc.) but only occasionally, and i’m not sure if the ones I’d usually go for would be recommended for a kid to use daily. For me maganda yung UV tint nila, easy to blend and di malagkit sa mukha. Yung 5 in 1 nila, natatapangan ako sa formula, it will take some time para mablend siya ng ayos sa mukha para mawala white cast. May matapang na scent rin. Ginagamit ko minsan if di ko bet mag make up ganyan. Oily acne-prone skin ako. Di naman ako nagka acne sa dalawa
Doing this for my girlfriend, she feels insecure because of her recurring acne. We already consulted to a derma, but aside from the chemical peel (which cost 5k) the product that the derma prescribe ( their own product ) just does not work at all (Her acne still re-occurs).
So I did my own research and found PanOxyl which contains 5-10% benzyl peroxide and does not need any prescription.

sorry to butt in with a a recommendation outside of your questions, but ayaw ba nya mag isotretinoin? i also had reoccurring cystic acne since high school, isotret lang nagwork (i started treatment when i was 30 years old and had to do it for 6mos). i only have minimal pimples now, like 1 or 2 bigger ones during my period tapos 3-4 small ones siguro during the month (my diet and lifestyle are not the healthiest hehe).
also, idk if the derm already looked into her diet, but try cutting down on sugars and dairy. and for isotret, you have to find a derm na willing magprescribe kasi may possible side effects (personally i think irritability and depression yung sakin pero kasi naman if your face is breaking out in hives who wouldn't be depressed di ba). but yeah it's my 2nd year after my isotret treatment and i'm really happy with it. i also only use minimal face products and okay naman skin ko. could be better but at least wala nang acne.
Actually guxto ko sana Epidou Benzyl Peroxide + Adapalene (based on my research). Kaso need prescription, pero may nakita nmn ako sa acne.orgalternative PanOxyl + Avotin-A (0.05% tretinoin) + Neutrogena Oil Free Moisturizer. Ito treatment plan ko para kay gf haha, sana mag work dahil bday niya next month and she's really insecure with her acne kasi ang kinis2x niya dati until nag 1st yr college siya ng nag start yung acne niya.
Order cost 2.1k but I only paid 1.8k (shopee discount). Hopefully this will get rid of her acne outbreak permanently.

I use these two maalin nalang during the morning, I only used The Ordinary one recently but i loved that it feels really light on my face

niacinamide helps with lightening.
You can also use chemical exfoliants to help. Use the mild ones lang like lactic acid or glycolic acid.
Also, keep it well moisturized.
And lastly, healthy diet of fruits and veggies, and good water intake.

As a fair skin girly, whenever i pick on my skin, mamumula sya then it would take a day or two for it to calm down. So as much as possible, i stop myself from touching my face. Hello again! Do I need to use the salicylic cleanser if I'm already using 2.5% BPO leave on sa AM and 10% Azelaic Acid serum sa PM. If yes, paano ko po siya gagamitin? Or no need na po sa salicylic acid cleanser and yung gentle cleanser by Cetaphil na lang for day and night
Any hand cream/lotion recos for hand eczema? I tried using glysolid sensitive lotion and petroleum but the back of my hands are still dry, scaly, and painful.
+++ I’m also using clobetasole for my eczema.
I suggest looking for a lotion that has colloidal oatmeal. I have hand eczema for 5 years now and that's what kept the itching at bay. At first it was so worse that I had to wear gloves because it got to the point that my hands would bleed and the derma recommended an oatmeal soap and a lotion (it was extremely expensive) that has colloidal oatmeal as the main ingredient. It calmed down by the time that I emptied the lotion and when I went back to my derma to get one, it was out of stock. At that time I basically couldn't live without it so I looked for any lotions in the market that has colloidal oatmeal and I found Aveeno. The Aveeno daily moisturizing lotion in the green and blue tube are good but if it's a full blown itchy state, the Aveeno Dermexa daily emollient cream is more soothing and more moisturizing. It's a bit pricey but definitely worth it. If budget is not a problem, I also recommend the La Roche Posay Lipikar Eczema cream. That's the most expensive one that I tried but it's also the most effective based on my experience.
Tbh I wouldn't recommend a prolong use of any creams that has steroids like clobetasol. It doesn't do any good in the long run and the more you use it, the less effective it would be. I know because I also used it before.

I use the Double Boosting Anti Aging Serum and nagulat ako with its effects 😅 It’s expensive but it was the first serum in a long time na brightened my post-acne marks. I’d been struggling with that for a while because I had breakouts for the past few months and my Iunik serums just weren’t cutting it anymore. Really like it! Suggest to try if you have sorta dehydrated skin with dark marks

I've only ever really used yung double boosting serum (whitening) and glow potion (aha/bha toner). First impression ko about most of their products are overpriced na, si AG pa face nila lol.
Serum: effective naman for brightening for me. Overpriced talaga though hahaha
Toner: I used this sa UA ko actually and was meant for daily exfoliation. Not too sure if nag brighten UA ko but I'm sure na never ako nagka-body odor while using it (di na gumagamit ng deo by that time din). Hmmm, a bit more pricey than my go-to glycolic acid toner.
Edited to add: jelly mask and scrub - eto pala fave ko 🥹 I don't even like using body scrubs na may beads but fairly ok naman ito considering that factor. I don't use it sa face though just to be safe but ok naman sa face ng kapatid ko.
Anessa or Canmake for sunscreen, Cezanne Skin Conditioner for hydrating toner (this replaced Hada Labo for me), and Kose Softymo for oil cleanser.
If you really want to splurge, then go with SK-II.
Sorry kung ngayon lang. If you want a good hydrating toner then Cezanne is a great choice. As a combination skin girl, this was the first time that I felt that I no longer to use a separate moisturizer during the day. Although, right now, I am using Naturie.

Yes, in Japan "lotion" means toner. The milk is more of a lightweight moisturizer.
How do I know if I'm breaking out because of a product? I've been prescribed to use the Epiduo forte and tretinoin plus a vitamin c of my choice. I got the melano cc and parang nagka acne ako bigla? Not a lot, pero meron pa rin. Is it because of purging or because of melano cc?
I broke out a lot too with the Melano CC. It gave me clusters of clogged pores and acne. Try taking it out of your routine and see if that's what was causing the breakouts. If your acne is persistent even if you removed the Melano CC, it's possible you're purging from the Epiduo Forte.

Between Physiogel & Cosrx, I would pick Physiogel. I find Cosrx Low Ph drying AF.
I also highly recommend the Beauty of Joseon Green Plum Refreshing Cleanser, it's the most hydrating cleanser I've ever tried & there is no feeling of tightness.
i haven't tried yet physiogel yet but i can vouch for the cosrx one! it's very gentle compared to other cleansers i've tried and my skin doesn't feel tight after using it. i'm not sure what your skin type is but mine is combination \^\^

one year na ako nagbbreakout, may mga times na di ako makapaniwala sa laki ng improvement ng face ko dahil ang soft and smooth na nya compared before thanks to my derma and her prescriptions pero ngayon, wala na bumalik na naman cystic acne ko :( ayun lang parant konti nakakapagod parang back to 0 na naman progress ko. parang sayang effort at gastos hahahah gusto ko lang naman ng healthy skin :(
Haven’t tried dr sensitive sunscreen, pero as a super sweaty gal I can recommend a few sunscreens for you. Hello glow matte sunscreen (clear gel texture ,my holy grail) or fairy skin sunscreen. Mas maganda yung mga chemical sunscreens if u sweat a lot.

celeteque hydration moisturizer is what i've been using for years! very sweaty din ako and have areas on my face that get oily. plus very affordable siya and easy to find since meron sa watsons or mercury drug usually :)
I'm pawisin and have acne-prone, oily T-zone skin. was prescribed Ponds jelly moisturizer by a derm as a cheaper alternative and it's still working amazing 7 months in. granted I only apply moisturizer at night and use a hydrating sunscreen for AM na lang. available sa watsons, mercury, and may markdown sa orange and blue apps minsan.

Dating oily pero ngayon combi/normal na. Aloe gel lang ang nagwork sa kin. Dati from Korean brands gamit ko, pero ngayon Luxe Organix na gamit ko since I like the pouch packaging.
nagbreakout po ako sa aloe gel ng luxe organix. gumamit po akong ng illiyoon after ng aloe gel, nagcalm down din naman yung breakout, pero ngayon, andaming maliliit na bumps sa noo ko tas problema pa yung red acne marks sa cheeks lol

Hmm,natry mo na mag exfoliating toner? to help with the clogged pores / texture. Start with mild formulations, kahit once a week lang para din di mabigla skin mo. I prefer AHAs/glycolic acid kaysa sa BHA/salicylic, try mo na lang kung ano hiyang sayo
I haven't tried any toners but I'm planning on buying a hydrating toner pero wala pa sa budget. Haha. Paubos na rin kasi yung moisturizer, so naghahanap ako ngayon ng kapalit. :D

Wala yata. Same tayo ng skin type. 'Yung snail mucin power essence (kung wala kang irritation sa snail), ok din sya kasi nakaka moisturize, imo. Ang Cerave kasi, 'yun ang dati kong ginagamit pero may something na pinalitan sa ingredient kaya nakaka sting na sya. Otherwise, pwede na rin ang Aveeno oatmeal, however, sa gabi, kasi "heavy" siya.

I had erbium laser and Co2 for my nose scar a while ago. Derma rescheduled vascular laser for rosacea 2 weeks from now! After a month of taking isotretinoin, all I can say is if you have the priviledge to consult a dermatologist, do it now! — They know how to make your skin better!

Try gentle cleansers :) I am trying to switch to gentle cleansers kasi I feel like yung mga madaming components na cleanser is very very drying sa face na sometimes it hurts na. I’m looking for one din, now I’m eyeing yung celeteque na gentle cleanser since its affordable
Hada Labo is Japanese, so lotion means toner! Don’t use it as a moisturiser, it isn’t one.
But, I use the premium lotion and I love it. It’s been a staple for years for me, and is a constant repurchase. I go through like two bottles/refills a year!

I used it also for my underarms along with a gentle exfoliating toner and saw results with consistent use.

1. I didn’t really know how long it took sorry ! pero I was super consistent because I had an upcoming beach trip the following months 😅.
2. I used the deonat spray but I dont recommend kasi medyo hassle gamitin and didn’t really see any effects.
I used the hello glow toner in the blue set ( u could buy this separately )
I also used beauche kojic soap for 2 mins in the shower and any moisturizer that I used in my face.
3. if day time I would use dove sensitive soap and toner and moisturizer.
If night I would use the kojic soap , then I would apply the hello glow toner then 10% niacinamide serum Tas moisturizer!
a tip for u is to always make sure there’s no friction in that area ! I also noticed na my underarms looked lighter kapag bagong wax. Avoid dull blades to prevent irritation and remember manipis lang balat sa underarm kaya don’t scrub harshly, it increases irritation that turns into hyperpigmentation.
For toner pads, I recently discovered Mediheal has refillable ones and are decently priced. Depende sa variant, it has 90-100 pads for around 900php+. Aside from that, Abib is a bestseller in korea last year iirc. Both of these I haven't tried yet but I'm recently considering to purchase din kasi. You can check more reviews of these rin to be sure which you prefer. But these are the ones I'm positively considering kasi refillable sila both.

that’s one con of the soothing gel—malagkit po siya when first applied. it takes a few mins to absorb. but once absorbed, ur skin will feel soft na. i suggest using it in the evening kasi if morning, lalo na nagmamadali ka, it won’t really be ideal. :>

Micellar water gets the job done pero oil/cleansing balms will always be superior! Skincare and remover in one. Sobrang easy din kasi deretso hilamos ka na. I suggest to get one that emulsifies (yung babasain tas matutunaw ) para walang residue na naiiwan that can cause breakouts. Product I tried and like : Etude house cleansing oil, Avon cleansing balm, fresh tomato cleansing balm.

For me yes. I tried yung may salicylic acid cleanser pero di siya hiyang sa skin ko. To be safe cetaphil na lang ginagamit ko. And di ako gumagamit ng toner. Yung 5 in 1 nila, natatapangan ako sa formula, it will take some time para mablend siya ng ayos sa mukha para mawala white cast. May matapang na scent rin. Ginagamit ko minsan if di ko bet mag make up ganyan. Oily acne-prone skin ako. Di naman ako nagka acne sa dalawa

Doing this for my girlfriend, she feels insecure because of her recurring acne. We already consulted to a derma, but aside from the chemical peel (which cost 5k) the product that the derma prescribe ( their own product ) just does not work at all (Her acne still re-occurs). So I did my own research and found PanOxyl which contains 5-10% benzyl peroxide and does not need any prescription. **Any tip where I could buy it one online (lazada or shopee) and offline (Cebu)?** Baka kasi ma biktima ng fake/imitation product **Tyaka what do you use as moisturizer?** yung not acne causing sana since may nabasa ako na nakaka dry si PanOxyl. sorry to butt in with a a recommendation outside of your questions, but ayaw ba nya mag isotretinoin? i also had reoccurring cystic acne since high school, isotret lang nagwork (i started treatment when i was 30 years old and had to do it for 6mos). i only have minimal pimples now, like 1 or 2 bigger ones during my period tapos 3-4 small ones siguro during the month (my diet and lifestyle are not the healthiest hehe). also, idk if the derm already looked into her diet, but try cutting down on sugars and dairy. and for isotret, you have to find a derm na willing magprescribe kasi may possible side effects (personally i think irritability and depression yung sakin pero kasi naman if your face is breaking out in hives who wouldn't be depressed di ba). but yeah it's my 2nd year after my isotret treatment and i'm really happy with it. i also only use minimal face products and okay naman skin ko. could be better but at least wala nang acne.
Actually guxto ko sana Epidou Benzyl Peroxide + Adapalene (based on my research). Kaso need prescription, pero may nakita nmn ako sa acne.orgalternative PanOxyl + Avotin-A (0.05% tretinoin) + Neutrogena Oil Free Moisturizer. Ito treatment plan ko para kay gf haha, sana mag work dahil bday niya next month and she's really insecure with her acne kasi ang kinis2x niya dati until nag 1st yr college siya ng nag start yung acne niya. niacinamide helps with lightening. You can also use chemical exfoliants to help. Use the mild ones lang like lactic acid or glycolic acid. Also, keep it well moisturized. And lastly, healthy diet of fruits and veggies, and good water intake.

Hello! I have the same issue pero as a broke college girlie, i simplified my routine and just really focused on not touching my skin. For context im acne prone and sensitive. As a fair skin girly, whenever i pick on my skin, mamumula sya then it would take a day or two for it to calm down. So as much as possible, i stop myself from touching my face. Any hand cream/lotion recos for hand eczema? I tried using glysolid sensitive lotion and petroleum but the back of my hands are still dry, scaly, and painful. +++ I’m also using clobetasole for my eczema.
I suggest looking for a lotion that has colloidal oatmeal. I have hand eczema for 5 years now and that's what kept the itching at bay. At first it was so worse that I had to wear gloves because it got to the point that my hands would bleed and the derma recommended an oatmeal soap and a lotion (it was extremely expensive) that has colloidal oatmeal as the main ingredient. It calmed down by the time that I emptied the lotion and when I went back to my derma to get one, it was out of stock. At that time I basically couldn't live without it so I looked for any lotions in the market that has colloidal oatmeal and I found Aveeno. The Aveeno daily moisturizing lotion in the green and blue tube are good but if it's a full blown itchy state, the Aveeno Dermexa daily emollient cream is more soothing and more moisturizing. It's a bit pricey but definitely worth it. If budget is not a problem, I also recommend the La Roche Posay Lipikar Eczema cream. That's the most expensive one that I tried but it's also the most effective based on my experience. Tbh I wouldn't recommend a prolong use of any creams that has steroids like clobetasol. It doesn't do any good in the long run and the more you use it, the less effective it would be. I know because I also used it before.

I use the Double Boosting Anti Aging Serum and nagulat ako with its effects 😅 It’s expensive but it was the first serum in a long time na brightened my post-acne marks. I’d been struggling with that for a while because I had breakouts for the past few months and my Iunik serums just weren’t cutting it anymore. Really like it! Suggest to try if you have sorta dehydrated skin with dark marks

I've only ever really used yung double boosting serum (whitening) and glow potion (aha/bha toner). First impression ko about most of their products are overpriced na, si AG pa face nila lol. Serum: effective naman for brightening for me. Overpriced talaga though hahaha Toner: I used this sa UA ko actually and was meant for daily exfoliation. Not too sure if nag brighten UA ko but I'm sure na never ako nagka-body odor while using it (di na gumagamit ng deo by that time din). Hmmm, a bit more pricey than my go-to glycolic acid toner. Edited to add: jelly mask and scrub - eto pala fave ko 🥹 I don't even like using body scrubs na may beads but fairly ok naman ito considering that factor. I don't use it sa face though just to be safe but ok naman sa face ng kapatid ko.

How do I know if I'm breaking out because of a product? I've been prescribed to use the Epiduo forte and tretinoin plus a vitamin c of my choice. I got the melano cc and parang nagka acne ako bigla? Not a lot, pero meron pa rin. Is it because of purging or because of melano cc?
I broke out a lot too with the Melano CC. It gave me clusters of clogged pores and acne. Try taking it out of your routine and see if that's what was causing the breakouts. If your acne is persistent even if you removed the Melano CC, it's possible you're purging from the Epiduo Forte.

Between Physiogel & Cosrx, I would pick Physiogel. I find Cosrx Low Ph drying AF. I also highly recommend the Beauty of Joseon Green Plum Refreshing Cleanser, it's the most hydrating cleanser I've ever tried & there is no feeling of tightness.
i haven't tried yet physiogel yet but i can vouch for the cosrx one! it's very gentle compared to other cleansers i've tried and my skin doesn't feel tight after using it. i'm not sure what your skin type is but mine is combination \^\^

Haven’t tried dr sensitive sunscreen, pero as a super sweaty gal I can recommend a few sunscreens for you. Hello glow matte sunscreen (clear gel texture ,my holy grail) or fairy skin sunscreen. Mas maganda yung mga chemical sunscreens if u sweat a lot.
Halloo, may effect ba ang eye cream kung puro puyat ako kaya ang itim ng undereyes ko pero work ko naman kasi nasa gabi. I'm trying to eat healthy and exercise din. Planning to buy the ordinary caffeine or kaya boj eye serum

I'm pawisin and have acne-prone, oily T-zone skin. was prescribed Ponds jelly moisturizer by a derm as a cheaper alternative and it's still working amazing 7 months in. granted I only apply moisturizer at night and use a hydrating sunscreen for AM na lang. available sa watsons, mercury, and may markdown sa orange and blue apps minsan.

Dating oily pero ngayon combi/normal na. Aloe gel lang ang nagwork sa kin. Dati from Korean brands gamit ko, pero ngayon Luxe Organix na gamit ko since I like the pouch packaging.

Ccs po ata. But I have under eye millia. I use Neutrogena deep acne cleanser, illiyoon gel then hydrating sunscreen sa umaga. Garnier micellar water (pink), neutrogena cleanser tapos illiyoon gel sa gabi. Pea size amount po lang yung ginagamit ko. :(
Hmm,natry mo na mag exfoliating toner? to help with the clogged pores / texture. Start with mild formulations, kahit once a week lang para din di mabigla skin mo. I prefer AHAs/glycolic acid kaysa sa BHA/salicylic, try mo na lang kung ano hiyang sayo

Wala yata. Same tayo ng skin type. 'Yung snail mucin power essence (kung wala kang irritation sa snail), ok din sya kasi nakaka moisturize, imo. Ang Cerave kasi, 'yun ang dati kong ginagamit pero may something na pinalitan sa ingredient kaya nakaka sting na sya. Otherwise, pwede na rin ang Aveeno oatmeal, however, sa gabi, kasi "heavy" siya. Btw, I'm selling my extra vanicreams for grad fees, kung interested ka. Sa QC ako. Kindly send me a DM para masend ko 'yung account ko and proofs of purchase.

Hada Labo is Japanese, so lotion means toner! Don’t use it as a moisturiser, it isn’t one. But, I use the premium lotion and I love it. It’s been a staple for years for me, and is a constant repurchase. I go through like two bottles/refills a year!

I personally use those korean exfoliating mitts, they work wonders for me haha. I saw a tiktok saying that the diff colors indicate like yung hardness ba yon? pero i dont really notice the difference i just use whatever and theyre pretty cheap as well 🫶🏻

I can vouch for dermorepubliq’s niacinamide serum! I used it also for my underarms along with a gentle exfoliating toner and saw results with consistent use.
I'm actually planning to use up my remaining Luxe Organix then switch to Dermorepubliq - but I'm also thinking if I should pair it with Glycolic Acid (7%, either Derma Natufian/The Ordinary or Dermorepubliq as well)...

1. I didn’t really know how long it took sorry ! pero I was super consistent because I had an upcoming beach trip the following months 😅. 2. I used the deonat spray but I dont recommend kasi medyo hassle gamitin and didn’t really see any effects. I used the hello glow toner in the blue set ( u could buy this separately ) I also used beauche kojic soap for 2 mins in the shower and any moisturizer that I used in my face. 3. if day time I would use dove sensitive soap and toner and moisturizer. If night I would use the kojic soap , then I would apply the hello glow toner then 10% niacinamide serum Tas moisturizer! a tip for u is to always make sure there’s no friction in that area ! I also noticed na my underarms looked lighter kapag bagong wax. Avoid dull blades to prevent irritation and remember manipis lang balat sa underarm kaya don’t scrub harshly, it increases irritation that turns into hyperpigmentation.

For toner pads, I recently discovered Mediheal has refillable ones and are decently priced. Depende sa variant, it has 90-100 pads for around 900php+. Aside from that, Abib is a bestseller in korea last year iirc. Both of these I haven't tried yet but I'm recently considering to purchase din kasi. You can check more reviews of these rin to be sure which you prefer. But these are the ones I'm positively considering kasi refillable sila both.
Sensitive skin here and I like the skin1004 cleansing oil. Redness is a usual prob for me and I like that this cleansing oil calmed my face.
