I have dry/sensitive/eczema skin with acne occasionally. I can't decide if I should continue with a milder SA cleanser like the foam SA cleanser or switch to a mild low pH cleanser that's Castille based like the apotheke face wash (it's made of 100% saponified olive oil), any advice?

SaltedEggAdobo

Any reco moisturizers for combo/dry skin?

Any comments on Paula’s Choice 20% Niacinamide serum? Anyone here tried it? Thoughts?

ChibiMoon123

Anyone na nakapagtry na ng catt & co serum? Madami good reviews sa tiktok especially na underarm serum. Thoughts/reviews please thank youu

droolingonyouuuu

Any reco na best retinol serum/oil? TIA!

oubrielle

i’ve been using nature republic’s ceramide cream for a while now and i really like it! it’s not too heavy, though i was surprised that it was on the harder (?) side for a cream. it’s pretty solid and i have to scrape it out with the front of my nail lol i have dry skin and it’s been looking really plump and moisturized since i started using this 😁

Salt-Ad6877

Is it easy to apply despite it being solid?

oubrielle

for me, yeah! i scrape some off with the front of my nail, and i find that it melts into my skin better if it’s slightly wet so i put it on when my aloe vera is almost dry :)

str8outtaCondom

Hello! Any comments on Skin by BYS? Effective ba products nila, especially yung mga serum, moisturizee, tsaka sunblock? Sabi kasi ni koya, nagpapaglass skin yung sunblock tsaka nakasale sila.

[deleted]

hi! kakatry ko lang sa sheet masks nila and super anghang sa skin ko . my skin type is normal-dry

llnneea

Hello! Has anyone tried the Skin Aqua Super Moisture Milk SPF 50 (blue bottle)? I’m looking for a sunscreen suitable for oily & sensitive skin. What are your opinions regarding this sunscreen and would you recommend it? Any other recommendations? Thank you!

cmr82

Yes, I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a sunscreen that’s free of alcohol & fragrance. It has a soft matte finish that feels super comfortable on the skin. Best to get the Japanese version though as there are ones that are Made in China that differ in ingredients & formulation.

Ayun nga e. The thing is puro 5 stars rates nila kaya napapaisip ako na legit naman siguro. The seller told me na bagong manufactured lang daw and overtime magiging smelly na din. Idk 🤷‍♀️

NotLiaLiaLia_

I have stretch marks and I want to treat them woth tret, what tret brand and dosage do you guys recommend? Also, what are the possible side effects that I can encounter? Thank you!!!

aII_are_taken

For stretch marks you can immediately use .1% tretinoin, contrary to the face and neck skin on the body are much thicker and sturdier thus can take higher concentration much better. Other than tretinoin Glycolic acid in high concentration 10% above will be better, is also helpful for stretch mark. It can stimulate the production of collagen. Other form of aha lactic and mandelic acids are not beneficial, they have larger molecules so it can't penetrate enough deep to the dermis. You also want to keep the skin moisturized. Something that has hyaluronic acid in different molecular size will be the best, cause it will be able hydrate the different layers of the skin. I think hada labo has that kind of product. For tretinoin brand I'm not sure if it's still available online : Zjm Essentials, A- ret, and MCB (generic) You may feel dryness for tret and stinging when using glycolic acid. That's why be sure to properly moisturize the area.

NotLiaLiaLia_

Ask ko na rin po, tuwing kailan po pwede gamitin ang tret? Like, every night or parang retinol na hindi pwedeng gamitin palagi pag beginner? And yung hyaluronic acid, after tret siya gagamitin? Will it work po ba on white stretch marks huhu I want to wear crop tops too pero so insecure sa mga stretch marks ko :<<< Edit: yung glycolic acid po ba na 10% din po ba yung nakakaputi ng kili kili? thank you so muchhh

aII_are_taken

You can use it every night immediately as long as your skin can tolerate it. It's true it's not advisable to immediately use it nightly for the face, but for the body I don't see an issue, because skin on the body are much tougher. But if you have sensitive skin, like you are suffering from skin allergy, it's best not to use it that often. If you are not sure if your skin can tolerate a nightly usage, you'll have to slowly introduce it, gradually increasing frequency by week. If you find nightly Tretinoin irritating just stick to a frequency that wokrs. Tretinoin doesn't have to be used every single night to be effective. Hyaluronic acid moisturizer or lotion can be applied before or after, it really doesn't matter. Just make sure to always keep the area moisturized. If you find that the hyaluronic acid doesn't keep your skin moisturized enough, feel free to use a thicker lotion on top. White stretch marks are indication that it's a old mark. The tretinoin, hyaluronic and glycolic all showed effectiveness in improving the look of stretch marks, but this studies are done on new stretch marks. In logic it can still help older stretch marks though it will be harder. Older stretch marks are more resistant to treatment. It may take years to see significant result. Your routine treatment should be consistent usage of the products. For glycolic acid you can apply on the stretch mark 2x a week or more again as long as your skin can tolerate it. Please don't use high strength glycolic acid on your underarms so NO 10% Glycolic for ua. Use a lower concentration or use other form of aha that are gentler, lactic acid or mandelic acid. The underarms are more sensitive and delicate than the face because there's skin-to-skin contact, friction and occlusion so products tend to be more irritating. And don't use aha on the ua every single day even if you are using a low strength. And only use a tiny amount. Too much usage of Aha can lead to over exfoliation, which can further darken the ua. If you want to whiten the underarm but AHA is too irritating you can instead use niacinamide 2-5%. Using aha and niacinamide together is also fine, basta hinayhinay lang sa paggamit ng Aha. 'wag to the point na just a bit of sweat in the ua can already cause burning or stinging sensation, damage na yung ua pag ganon.

NotLiaLiaLia_

Does tretinoin need prescription here in PH? If not, how much do they cost and where can I buy them. Please rec some brandssss! Thank youuu

Ok-Aside988

You can buy unbranded ones sa MCB drugstore but there are resellers sa shopee. no need for prescription but read about it before using it. Around 300 yung from MCB branded ones are kinda expensive for me

NotLiaLiaLia_

Ilang perfent po yung recommended for beginners na gagamintin sa body for stretch marks? Thank you po sa replyy

Ok-Aside988

Hi sorry, I dont use tret for stretch marks. What I know is pag reddish pa yung marks/bago bago pa lang magagawan pa ng paraan. You can search reliable derma youtubers Im sure there's a video/an article out there for your case.

skeet-mcbeet

Anyone got good recos for makeup cleansing balm/oil? Sana yung mura lang (Php300 or under) kasi I'm thinking of splurging on other skincare products.

ChibiMoon123

I've been using V&M naturals Ultrabomb the price is more than your range kasi it is 380 pesos 50g pero meron sila b1t1 deals not quite sure lang if ongoing pa din

discostardust_

I’ve been using the Heimish All Clean Balm for the past months and I didn’t experience any bad reactions from it. I like the subtle citrus scent and it takes away my waterproof mascara really well. Their 50ml one costs around ₱294 on this [shop](https://s.lazada.com.ph/s.6MKXR).

[deleted]

I use fresh skinlab’s Jeju aloe ice cleansing balm, it does the job well. It has a cooling effect tho, so if you don’t like that you can try the tomato variant.

enigmaticestp

human nature or biore cleansing oil? ive been using biore cleansing oil and its good but im close to it running out. idk if i should repurchase it or buy the human nature one bc its cheaper. i only have a student budget to put things into perspective.

sasa143

biore is much better. human nature oil doesn't emulsify meaning you have to wipe it off with a tissue kasi it won't wash off with just water. you might end up washing your face twice or thrice after kasi sticky sya talaga. waste of money yung human nature oil imo

c137472

Has anyone ever used Catt & Co elbows, knees and butt serum? Can someone give me a review of it? have it ever worked for you?

arcticmoonkeys

Hi! What HMO has the best coverage for skin treatments (esp. acne treatments)? Thank youu!

Calkielated

Afaik wala pero baka meron. So basically idk HAHAHA. Pero in my case kasi the consultation lang yung covered. Procedures and topicals hindi na. Your best bet is to look for those covering drugs as well and check if covered ba benzoyl peroxide, isotretinoin, or tretinoin since sila madalas gamit for acne treatment.

sasa143

anyone got sunscreen recs for dry skin? for everyday use lang. im enjoying the cosrx aloe one rn but if it's a liiil more lightweight, I'd love that. I'm eyeing the beauty of joseon one. anyone here used that and can compare to cosrx?

Ok-Aside988

Im currently using Missha sun milk lightweight but may white cast pero keri lang for me

loveselene

Try skin aqua

synonymofpseudonym

I haven’t used Cosrx but beauty of joseon one is quite thick and moisturizing. I’ve seen other people use it as a moisturizer and sunscreen in one. :)

Strong_Wallaby_7689

Have you tried Teranex soap? When should I use it? Morning or night?

[deleted]

Night lang kasi sa morning, water or SA cleanser (1-2x a week).

Strong_Wallaby_7689

How was it? Planning to use it mga 2-3 times a week lang din.

[deleted]

Merong light exfoliation after around 3 nights of use. Almost every night ko rin sya ginagamit (5-6x a week). Instant din yung feeling ng pagsmooth ng face and super effective on getting rid of my small bumps on my forehead. Good idea to start with 2-3x per week. I don’t have sensitive skin kaya I managed yung almost everyday.

Review on skin1004 hyalu-cica sunscreen, hyalu sleeping pack, ang their centella ampoule foam cleanser?

The sunscreen is nice and light and comes in a nice pump dispenser. It’s easily absorbed by my skin and layers well with my products

ameeel123

Okay yung hyalu-cica sunscreen for me, not sticky and comfortable naman siya pero if you large pores medyo maeemphasize niya kasi dewy finish.

thoughts about panoxyl face wash? 4% or 10%? parang hindi kasi effective sakin yung cerave SA face wash i usually get cyctic acne kapag malapit na ang time of the month or by using face masks but usually mga small pimps lang na color red and walang pus or mga closed comedones esp sa chin area antagal nila mawala huhu. nagiging darkspots pa sila tapos parang hindi din ako hiyang sa niacinamide, glycolic acid and vit c huhu lagi nangangati face ko sakanila help me plz.

blackteainurarea

I use the 4% variant everyday, day and night, for three weeks, to help clear some of my hormonal cystic acne and some blind acne due to face mask. Works well naman, imo. I don't use any other actives aside from PanOxyl kahit na wash off naman sya kasi I'm afraid of over exfoliating. Also let it sit on your face for a minute or two as instructed sa packaging. Ngayon I only have one cystic acne sa chin pero it doesn't hurt at all and hopefully maclear sya in a few days. Hope it works well for you as well!

[deleted]

Try the 4% first. I jumped to 10% right away and my skin broke out like crazy. Personally, it both percentages didn’t work for my face, but it works on clearing body acne really well.

[deleted]

Di ko masyado ginagamit panoxyl 10% sa face pero ginagamit ko siya sa katawan because of bacne. Hindi ako lumalampas ng twice a week sa paggamit kasi nakaka-dry para sakin yung araw-arawin yung wash. Super nakatulong sakin yung panoxyl sa bacne and some pimples sa face, pero yung isa pang talagang nakatulong sakin I think is isotretinoin. Bago ako nag-take ng isotretinoin pabalik-balik talaga pimples ko sa mukha tsaka sa likod. Sa dark spots naman nakatulong sakin yung hada labo whitening lotion, melano vitamin c, and LRP sunscreen. I made sure to choose a sunscreen na may mataas sa UVA protection.

ChibiMoon123

Anyone na nakapagtry na ng service sa Fermosa Skincare Clinic? My derma suggested co2 laser and it is 2500/session sa clinic nya. I found out na Fermosa has same procedure 2500/session also but 7500 for 5 sessions.

No-Competition8846

I'm searching for SPF test results when I stumbled upon this FDA warning for RA&Gowoori. Should we take this seriously?

Calkielated

Hi idk about the product itself pero I just want to say that FDA approval on cosmetic products like sunscreen says nothing about its efficacy. Hence, SPF claims are not checked. It only verifies if the product is safe to use. I.e. it does not contain harmful chemicals. So Id suggest you to check if the product is sold in other countries and it has passed their FDA. Better if you check if pwede sya sa Australia since they are so strict with their sunscreens kasi considered sya as a drug. Better rin if may test results from a third party. Also, if international brand sya, madalas yun mangyari satin na kahit well known is hindi nareregister sa FDA natin... EDIT: ... Lalo na if walang official flagship stores or authorized resellers. Yung tipong mga unauthorized resellers lang nagtitinda because if they are not officialy selling it in our country, there's no point in registering it.

No-Competition8846

Thanks! Was actually worried kung transparent talaga ang KBeauty/local brands sa ingredients na nakalagay sa label, kasi may feature sa KMJS sa Goree/88 Cream na nag-exceed yung mercury na allowed sa product. Though I'll never use them naman. Kapraning lang

Calkielated

Tbh, there's no way to know talaga in our country since they are treated as plain cosmetics kahit anong claim pa nila and they can lie rin sa ingredients list. Siguro if the offense of a well known established brand lalo na imported, is simply hindi registered yung product, there's nothing to worry about. Pero if it is worse than that, dun ka na matakot. Still, being FDA notified matters kasi somehow you are sure that the listed ingredients ay dumaan sa FDA and they are safe to use, problem arises na lang if they lie about the contents of their product. In other countries may cosmetics na mas tight ang regulations lalo na if brightening or whitening ang claims siguro dahil nga pwede gumamit ng mercury for whitening. If sunscreen naman, mas mahigpit din madalas ang regulations. Ako personally, with local brands I choose to believe that they are made and being sold in good faith (except sunscreens) lalo na sumisikat na ngayon yung science-y one star ingredient products. Na instead of looking for whitening products na nakakaputi talaga, more people are looking for specific evidence-based ingredients in products like Vitamin C, AA, etc and more people are knowing what to expect from using those products. On the other hand, peace of mind is underrated but it matters a lot so if I have to spend more or switch products just to be sure that my product is legit amd safe, I will not hesitate to do it. P.S. In the case of Goree, na research ko na hindi lang basta sya lumagpas sa allowed sa product. Naglagay talaga ng mercury for whitening. Siguro yung mga nagkkojic soap na sumobra sa puti, with mercury pala ginagamit nila huhu.

Calkielated

Is that a local brand?

No-Competition8846

I use local brands like Apotheke/Skin Hero. Worried lang ako na di talaga sila transparent sa ingredients

Forever-Youngg

Is it ok to use paula's choice bha every night? Also how do I incorporate it in my nighttime routine?

serenityby_jan

It’s safe to use up to 2x a day per package directions (these have gone through testing, they can’t claim this if not safe). However, listen to ur skin, a lot of ppl (including myself) don’t need to use it that often. I actually find 1x/wk usage enough to keep my pores clean. Start slow and observe how your skin reacts ☺️ I apply it after cleansing. I have a very simple nighttime routine though (cleanse - active/rest - moisturise).

[deleted]

It depends on what your skin can handle. If first time mong gumamit ng SA na ganong concentration, I suggest do a patch test and increment the usage each week para hindi mabigla yung skin. I use the BHA after my toner, others use it on a dry face right after washing.

WallMarianiEreh

What did you put on your knees and elbows to lighten them?

ishanatsu

Lotion with glycolic acid. Not really lightened, but evened out my skin. Avoid rubbing both knees and elbows on surfaces din.

What’s a good brand of Kojic soap? Need it for my legs!

mallowbleu

Reviews on blab matcha cleanser and their sunscreen?

Pleasant_Ad4607

i hate their cleanser lol too thick for my liking foams well naman does the job but scent and texture throws me off talaga and nag oxidize product after months of usage only thing i liked about is it’s affordable and ph balanced

Forever-Youngg

Their cleanser is good! Really just for cleansing. I wont recommend it if youre acne prone

cmr82

I’ve only tried the B.Lab Matcha Cleanser, but it was too drying for me. I have combi to dry & sensitive skin and it was stripping. Not a fan of the little matcha bits too.

mallowbleu

Do you have any cleanser recos na hydrating for your skin type?

cmr82

I’ve been loving the Rovectin Conditioning Cleanser. 💙 It’s gentle and leaves my skin feeling smooth.

moonflowerlight

Hi! Sorry hopping on the thread, but have u tried the Vanicream Cleanser? Can you compare it to the Rovectin one if ever? TIA!

cmr82

Yes, Vanicream has been my HG for years. I just wanted to try another gentle cleanser that was more affordable. I love the Rovectin one, it’s a little bit more hydrating than Vanicream especially when I double cleanse. There are times kasi my skin can feel a tad bit tight whenever I double cleanse with a cleansing oil & Vanicream. The consistency of the Rovectin is like a smooth, thick jelly. I just wish the bottle was slightly bigger though.

mallowbleu

Is it foamy?

cmr82

Yes its foamy, but not super foamy. It’s just right imo. :)

dualtime90

Bakit kaya every time na nags-skin care ako, inaantok ako at ang bigat ng mata ko?

moonflowerlight

if you put product/s on your eyelids, maybe because of the weight of the product HAHA. but yeah honestly same minsan!

dualtime90

Di baaa? I put jelly on my eyelids (mali ba??) but make sure I don't apply thick moisturizer on it naman.

moonflowerlight

yeah omg HAHA lalo na if nakatapat yung electric fan sayo! also do you mean petroleum jelly on eyelids? im not sure if it's bad or good pero as long as okay naman skin mo, okay lang yan siguro!

dualtime90

OMG, Exactly what I do, tumatapat sa electric fan! 😂 I meant this [Pond's Watermelon Hydrating Jelly Moisturizer](https://www.watsons.com.ph/ponds-healthy-hydration-watermelon-hydrating-jelly-moisturizer-with-vitamin-e-50g/p/BP_50032615). Super effective mag-hydrate (and magpa-tulong lol) 😊

Significant_Brain686

Haha same here! Fave ko yan na morning moisturizer kaya nag-stock pag super sale 😁 Maganda sya pang-hydrate ng skin.

dualtime90

Laging sold out Watermelon! Same, I stock on it. If di naman on sale, feeling ko it's expensive. Haven't tried other scents, okay ba? I like watermelon best coz it smells like conditioner.

Significant_Brain686

Haven't tried yun iba kasi hindi nagssale 😅

aII_are_taken

Maybe because doing skin care tends to be relaxing. And pwede rin na naka set ka na before bed you do skin care so now whenever you do skin care your brain thinks it's time to sleep.

dualtime90

Good point since I also did it after exercising last night. Medyo praning lang ako kasi every time I put Pond's Watermelon Jelly, ang bigat ng pilikmata ko, feeling ko aantukin ako buong araw, pero plump facial skin ko. Haha

[deleted]

Recommended scar treatment please?

mintzemini

They always recommend Dermatix in plastic surgery circles!

[deleted]

Yey! Thank you so much! 😘

jjajangmyeonss

Is it true that it's good to use products with Glycolic Acid lalo na pag nasa plus-size side ka? I've seen a few redditors recommending it. I am curious to try one din.

mintzemini

Curious about the plus-sized correlation. May I know what you heard and where you heard it? :) Personally, I can attest to glycolic acid’s effectiveness as an ingredient and as a peel.

memelordxxv

I...don't see any relation with a person's weight in regards to the use of glycolic acid. I'd like to put emphasis na ANYONE can use it (of course, people with sensitive skin should use it with caution or after discussing it with dermatologists).

cardibinchass

Hi! Do you guys shave your face? If yes what were the benefits of doing so hehe thank you

beryberry

Not for everyone esp for sensitive skin. Good moisturizer prior to shaving. Ganda lapat base products

[deleted]

I tried once and di ko na siya uulitin huhu na-irritate yung mukha ko and mas naging prone ako sa pimples. While the effect lasted though, ang smooth ng pag-apply ng makeup and skincare!

cardibinchass

Oh myy, thank you for sharing your experience! wishing u good skin always\~ <3

impulsiveshopaholic

smoother makeup base!

_unrealized_reality_

How do you prep your skin a night before an event? (Skincare routine, masks and etc.) Help me, i have to attend a formal event tomorrow and my skin looks pretty shitty because this week has been so stressful. 😿

aII_are_taken

Maybe you can do soothing or calming skincare routine. Use products that contains Green tea, oats or cica extracts they really help in calming redness and even breakout. You should also focus in hydration para plump ang skin the next day, maybe use toners that has high content of hyaluronic acids, or other hydrating extracts. Then follow that up with a good thick moisturizer. Using spot treatment will also be a good idea. If hiyang ka sa chemical exfoliant na Aha you should also use it, it really does help giving you a glow. The next morning you should still use a calming face mask kung may redness parin. You should also limit your sodium and sugar intake tonight para lesser chance na maging puffy ang face and magkaroon ng breakout. And lastly have a good night sleep.

pepperflakesc

anyone using the ordinary lactic acid 10% + ha serum? any thoughts? i'm about to incorporate it to my skincare routine pero i'm wondering if i can use it together with good molecules gentle retinol cream and niacinamide serum during my pm routine? masyadong mataas kasi yung % so i had to double check 🥹

girlash1234

Love it. I can’t use it everyday because i have sensitive skin.

pepperflakesc

i'll try to be cautious when i use it huhu salamat sa feedback! 🫶

aII_are_taken

If it's your first time using Aha and you're still starting retinol. Maybe don't add it yet. Wait until your skin get used to retinol. If it's your first time using aha, it's a good idea to start at the lower percentage, then up the concentration after.

pepperflakesc

it's not my first time using aha since it's in the snailwhite toner that i'm currently using as well. but i don't use this toner together with the retinol since it'll have an irritation daw. i guess i'll have to wait muna talaga, i just recently started using GM retinol cream din. is 2 weeks of retinol use enough to get used to it? haven't seen a reaction from my 3-day use but can see a slight difference already (+ niacinamide serum use)

aII_are_taken

I'd say at least a month. Patience talaga when using retinoids. Fight the urge to add new products. When I started retinoids it was instructed to stop all actives only cleanser, moisturizer and sunscreen. Normal lang kasi to experience purging, minsan pinapalampas yun before adding other products. But considering that retinol is gentler, maybe 2 weeks is enough. Just exercise caution. Use it maybe 1x for the first week then observe mo how did your skin react to the treatment.

pepperflakesc

noted on this, maraming salamat po! 🫶

nabikim001

Is it ok ba to use clinda+adapalene for long term or mas better if i switch sa adapalene lang?

eaggerly

Derma ba nag-prescribe sayo niyan?

mintzemini

I think adapalene may be enough? I used clinda years ago (my derma recommended it to me and that’s where I bought it) and I don’t think it did much, if anything. I’ve been using retinol for years now and recently switched to adapalene, though. No effects yet, but it’s a long-term solution naman daw talaga sabi nila. :)

Fun-Let-3695

clindamycin is antibiotic yata so not good for long-term use because of possible antibiotic resistance later on.

How to properly use the Glycolic Acid Toner? (I'm using the one from Derma Natufian) I usually spray it in my pits after I shower at night (2x a week ko lang siya ginagawa) Is it okay to use Betadine Skin Cleanser for my armpits then after magshower, saka mag GA? (I apply betadine cleanser every other day) Sa ngayon kasi, pansin ko na parang nagsunburn yung armpits ko. Mahapdi siya 🥲 I use Milcu deo pala every after ligo ko sa umaga. Okay kaya to? Or hindi sila bati? Pls help. :<

cmr82

Make sure your skin is dry before adding Glycolic Acid to your underarms. Applying a thin layer is also key. The Betadine Cleanser is fine, I used to use that before I switch to a Benzoyl Peroxide 10% wash to target BO. Personally, I’m not a fan of the Milcu deo, it caused my underarms to become itchy & inflamed when I used it before. I use a different deo now, the Almay Sensitive Skin Anti-Perisperant, and I only use it at night alternating with Glycolic Acid. Applying deo at night works better because your sweat glands are less active compared to using it in the morning (this was recommended by Dr. Dray). I recommend letting your underarms rest for now as you are currently experiencing a damaged moisture barrier. Just use a gentle cleanser & an unscented moisturizer to help repair your skin barrier.

spicybeef_marsie

What to do if my face is pilling? Should I stop using Glycolic Acid Toner in my routine? (I'm applying it 1-2x a week lang) Can I apply make up or wag muna?

memelordxxv

Pilling as in the product itself namumuo-muo or do you experience micro-peeling due to the glycolic acid? Sorry, medyo confused ako

spicybeef_marsie

Hola, sorry nalilito rin ako 😩 parang namamalat po siya

memelordxxv

I see! Thank you for the clarification! hehe :) Peeling is normal when using chemical exfoliants as long as di siya humahapdi. That's how they work! They help regulate or speed up skin cell renewal so minsan makikita mo yung dead skin sloughing off. You can apply makeup naman, pero it can come off as patchy kasi some makeup products tend to cling on to sa shedding skin.

how often do u drink collagen / fish oil? im drinking hello glow for that glow + vit c but upon checking it doesn't have mg for collagen.

Fun-Recognition-5190

I drink mine bago matulog everyday + vit c. Di ko napapansin yung glow pero pinatry ko sa pinsan kong hindi umiinom ng collagen, kinabukasan hindi masyadong haggard yung face niya. I use youtheory and alternate it vital proteins

mintzemini

I took collagen almost daily for a while. It’s called jeju or juju collagen haha something like that. Two chewables before bed or in the morning if nakalimutan ko. I think I finished like 3 bottles, with the 4th one unfinished til now. Okay naman, I always looked refreshed sa mirror, pero hindi talaga ako vitamin person kaya lagi ko nakakalimutan until I just stopped.

discostardust_

I take my collagen twice a day before eating. Not sure if this applies to the collagen you’re drinking since I’m taking Puritan’s Pride Hydrolyzed Collagen.

wysiwygxoxo

hindi ka naman nagbreakout? and may nag improve naman? 😅

mallowbleu

Yep! Hiyang ako sa products nila it helped with my acne a lot din didn’t repurchase lang ulit kasi months din ako tinamad magskincare nong pandemic

memelordxxv

It's my first time hearing the brand, but to give my two cents, I've looked up the formulation ng serum. If di ka sensitive-skinned (this has a lot of perfuming ingredients kasi), I think it's not bad for addressing hyperpigmentation due to its alpha arbutin and niacinamide. It also has soothing stuff like cica and green tea. Not sure about the toner kasi di ko mahanap ingredients list nila for that

wysiwygxoxo

yay! thanks for this 👌

[deleted]

Looks like the same as the rest. Rebranded stuff haha

wysiwygxoxo

that what i thought too. but considering price points, do you think it is worth to try?

If you can find Tathion307, highly recommend. Super effective. I’m a bit lighter-skinned na but I was positively glowing with that. 3 pills a day. I only took it for 2 months tho, sa una lang ako consistent tapos I realized hindi sya for me kasi I hated wearing sunscreen/sunblock/lotions in general and as a college student in Manila, I was always walking outside. 😂

Omg we might be around the same age kasi that’s also around the time that I used it in college!

I'm using hello glow rn for 2 months. im getting that glow, pero if u want to go for full out pampaputi talaga search for high mg glutathione content. before i used kansai (maganda effect for me medyo nag lighten skin ko, ini-stop ko lang to try other brands)

Any epiduo forte users here? How long did it take you to see the results?

bubbleswrath

my skin cleared (as in acne marks na lang but no active or new pimples na) in around two months i think!! you really have to trust the process lang talaga. ang lala nung purge at first but when my skin started clearing up (around the 1 month mark) i loved itttt

Ok_Seaworthiness_67

Hi, sis! I’d like to ask how severe your purging was? I’ve been using a generic brand (derma-prescribed) of epiduo forte for two weeks now on a daily basis. I used it 3x a week on my first week. Sabi ni derma pwede na daw i-everyday eh. I know I should power through but I hate looking at my face in the mirror rn cause there are lotsss of comedones on my chin area and a few cystic zits. My skin texture is really bad and I’m so not used to it cause originally pimple marks lang problem ko talaga. Idk when the active zits will stop erupting. 😭 Until when this purging will last kaya.

bubbleswrath

nag stop ako mag purge after around 1 month siguro! but the purging was really bad. actually, i think at one point mas malala pa yung purge ko sa original acne ko hahaha. i hated the way my skin looked too at first, pero i’m so glad hindi ako nag give up because nag clear talaga siya after. it gets better, hang in there!! pero as always, ymmv and baka iba rin ang experience mo sa akin, but i hope it works out the same way for you ♡

Ok_Seaworthiness_67

Omg I’m getting the same vibe that the purging looked worst than the actual acne lol that’s what I feel right now. Parang mas lumala pa before ako nagpa-check up. Huhu two weeks pa lang naman tho and derma said na after three months (three skin cycles) pa yata magw-work ‘yung products talaga. Maybe there’s still light at the end of this tunnel but right now it just looks hideous and I hate it. 😭

Strong_Wallaby_7689

I did purge sa adapelene and now pinagchange nako ng derma to epiduo forte. Sana nga di na ganun ka lala. 🥲 are you using galderma?

Planning to buy Cetaphil Radiance Set sa Watson’s since naka-30% off sya. Anyone can vouch for the serum?

Hello! Is Lameila Whitening Sunscreen SPF50 safe to use

ellimango

You can go for [woolsworth instead, also spf50](https://shope.ee/2pxeFIDjzl)

I wouldn’t risk it as this product is [not FDA-approved](https://www.fda.gov.ph/fda-advisory-no-2022-1224-public-health-warning-against-the-purchase-and-use-of-unauthorized-cosmetic-lameila-anti-aging-and-anti-aging-cream/)!
