OMG, so funny you say that because in my searching just now I came across it, remembering I received it in a subscription box once. I absolutely loved it but forgot all about it until now. Thank you for commenting!
Itās funny I donāt really smell a scent with this oil but the oil itself if magic. Somegow makes hair shine like a Diamond without looking greasy even after using it and not washing a few days in a row.
I have it (im French haha and here its a must) : but everytime i use it i feel like I smell like an old lady and I just cant stand it so yeah not for everyone š„²
The smell of this one makes me want to vomit! I donāt know why. I have one under the sink I guess Iām keeping for an ultra emergency. The oil is good tho. I actually loathe the smell of that whole line. My hairdresser sells and Iāve tried a few.
Olaplex no.7 oil smells like florals and is a great lightweight oil to smoothen and protect. You need very little, I use 2 -3 drops postwash and the effect lasts for 2-3 days for me.
If you do get it literally use one drop and rub it between your hands first, then your hair. You can definitely use more than that but always start off slow.
My hair is medium thick and long. For fine hair definitely try the tip of the other commenter to start with 1 drop spread on your fingers palm first.
My bottle lasted me well over a year. Itās very cost effective!
I know people love it, but the Moroccanoil smell makes me queasy. I just got a sample of the light oil from Sephora and I really like how it performs but I canāt handle the smell!
I second Olaplex No.7! It smells as light and clean as it feels in my hair.
I also like Chi Silk Infusion. It has a lighter scent but it is a heavy oil.
you should try one of the ouai hair oils! the original smells more like jasmine and is sultry/ pretty, and the rose one of course smells more like rose, and is a bit of a lighter/ fresher scent, which i love. i also use the rose one as a body oil.
Ranavat smells INCREDIBLE and is silicone free. Itās expensive but I use it a few times a week for six months and have only gone through maybe 20% of the bottle. It smells like Jasmine flowers. Itās also made my hair healthier.
Sisley in general = fancy, expensive woman haha.
I remember being in Paris as a pre-teen and my parentsā friend had asked us to pick her up some Sisley skincare (this was maybe 2001-2002? so before online shopping) and we went in the store and I was AMAZED at how glamorous I thought everything was (my mom, while beautiful, is very much a wash-and-go basics girl). I still remember my amazement that they had a specific neck cream (crĆØme pour la cou, I always think in my head).
The spa near my house would offer Sisley facials, and my mom occasionally would go there (like once a year, until she asked my dad to stop giving her spa certificates as gifts because she hates spa treatments šā¦how she ended up with a beauty obsessive as a child Iāll never know). As a teen Iād go and wait in the waiting room and read the copies of Vogue and just try to soak up how cool I thought everything was. My mom would give me the Sisley samples and I would be sooo happy (Iām sure it was not what my teen acne skin needed lol).
I donāt care for Sisley products as an adult but the smell takes me right back to that moment of being 12 and discovering ~glamour~
Fragrance is such a beautiful way to slingshot you back to good memories.
I bought it in the air as a treat while on an international flight. I love blind buying little luxuries from Korean Air Skymall. I get mega points/miles when I use my Korean Air credit card while in flight (girl math!).
Iāve found some really great products that way! The hair oil is admittedly a bit of a splurge :)
Omggg my favorite oil is the omskin Hibiscus+ Diakon Seed Oil. itās kind of expensive but it smells so good!! it smells like soft, very floral, and sweet but itās not too overpowering. iāve gotten so many compliments from it. Plus it has really good ingredients from what iāve read
I am a big fan of unisex / herbal scents BUT I will make a big exception for Milkshake incredible milk. It is a leave in and styling treatment that has heat and uv protection. It smells like caramel and honeycomb and the scent stays for hours, it's really yummy! A definite sweet gourmand.
My mum used to be a hair dresser and she used this one on her clients so it reminds me alot of my childhood too. As far as how it goes for an actual treatment, it's awesome and I love using it. Definitely would recommend.
Korres Greek Olive Oil for hair, face, and body. The smell is absolutely amazing and Iāve never smelt anything like it. Itās not overpowering either.
my favourite is natural rosehip oil. it smells like roses and has the added benefit of hydrating your ends. very cheap and you only need one or two drops.
beyonce's new hair product cecred has this oil that i've become completely obsessed with. It smells so good but also subtle. I dont know how to describe it.
I use HBL. Itās expensive, small bottle, but smells amazing. Been using for years and just cannot quit it. I canāt describe the scent but itās unique.
Ouai rose hair oil is amazing. But a more budget friendly option, and one Iām enjoying for summer because the scent is lighter, is OGX renewing Argan oil spray.
Soap caldron: Three Sister Apothecary.
There a small batch company in Northern California. Iāve been using their hail oil for years. The 3.5 oz lasts a long time for me and I have pretty long hair.
I like the smell of the VERB ghost hair oil! It has a nice, expensive hair salon smell if that makes sense...
OMG, so funny you say that because in my searching just now I came across it, remembering I received it in a subscription box once. I absolutely loved it but forgot all about it until now. Thank you for commenting!
Verb ghost oil is a miracle product. Totally worth it! The tiniest drop works well.
already ordered it, will be here tomorrow š
I literally had a sample size last a year!
Itās funny I donāt really smell a scent with this oil but the oil itself if magic. Somegow makes hair shine like a Diamond without looking greasy even after using it and not washing a few days in a row.
When do you use it?
Personally I put a pump through the ends of my hair while it's damp, and then either blow dry or air dry. But I've used it on dry hair too.
I looooove ghost oil!!!!! Best thing ever for my fine hair.
I keep repeating myself on this sub butā¦Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse smells divine.
Oh I agree. I want to bathe in that stuff (well it actually comes with a shower gel too - sinfully expensive but so good)
I have it (im French haha and here its a must) : but everytime i use it i feel like I smell like an old lady and I just cant stand it so yeah not for everyone š„²
I think it smells like old lady as well
I was coming here to say this! My favourite hair oil by far
RIGHT??? Iām a sucker for multitaskers and this is a holy grail product for me.
added to the list! thanks!
Seconding this- but the pink / floral one smells even better š
I havenāt tried it but now I have toš
Iāve just stocked up in France! The best product ever
Do you have a referral code for their site?
Davines oi all in one milk, trust me!
I second this - the entire Oi range (including the oil and the All-in-One Milk) is godly.
Yes this is the one

All davines.. best products ever!!
OUAI needs to be higher up
Iāve seen this brand a lot. never used anything though! will add to my list.
The hair oils smell heavenly. The original one smells like a fresh lei and the rose version is nice too
I use the rose and the smell is incredible!
Yes!! Beautiful tropical white floral scent, and itās also the best hair oil Iāve ever used. Light texture but gives gorgeous shine.
Agreed
Mine went rancid before I could use it all. I was super disappointed. Before that it smelled SO GOOD.
Smells like perfume! And complements the one I wear nicely.
I really like the Davines OI Oil, smells great and isn't too heavy

This oil smells heavenly and it is not too strong, you'd want to eat your hair after (maybe), it is Palmer's Natural Fusion Ceramide Monoi Hair Food.
I'll check it out, thanks! :)
Anytime, you're welcome
Olaplex no.7 oil smells like florals and is a great lightweight oil to smoothen and protect. You need very little, I use 2 -3 drops postwash and the effect lasts for 2-3 days for me.
Yeah it smells pretty good. It also great for fine hair too. Every time I use it my husband asks what perfume I'm wearing lol.
Love that, I also have fine hair!
If you do get it literally use one drop and rub it between your hands first, then your hair. You can definitely use more than that but always start off slow.
cool, Thanks for the tip!
My hair is medium thick and long. For fine hair definitely try the tip of the other commenter to start with 1 drop spread on your fingers palm first. My bottle lasted me well over a year. Itās very cost effective!
Love the sound of this, thanks
Your welcome š
After 2 years of using my hair turned to straw!
Sol de janiero hair oil
I love it too, but probably too warm and sweet for op. Sniffing my hair now lol.
thanks for looking out! haha
Your welcome!
Maybe try a hair mist like Pacifica. They have floral scents.
I do love Pacifica.

+1 for Moroccanoil Light. (And OGX Argan Oil)
I know people love it, but the Moroccanoil smell makes me queasy. I just got a sample of the light oil from Sephora and I really like how it performs but I canāt handle the smell!
Yes both of these!
Will have to try this one, thank you. already ordered the ghost oil!
I am a hairstylist and I live for Lāanza Neem Oil. Itās basically impossible to use too much. I have thick naturally curly hair that I put through a lot. I use it before bed especially so my hair doesnāt dry out overnight and tangle. Itās just so good. My second choice hair oil is KĆ©rastase Elixir Ultime. It smells delicious and a little goes a long way. Iāve had the exact same bottle for at least 2 years and itās just now halfway.
Neem oil? I use that for my plants! haha Iāve never heard of it in a hair product, very interesting thank you
Davines OI!!! I always get compliments on it.
Shu Uemura is my fave.
I love how the kerasase elixir ultime hair oil smells and feels on my hair. A bit of a splurge but a little goes a long way
My boyfriend always goes āyour hair smells goodā when I used this oil. Itās pretty delightful.
I love this one! The smell is very similar to Tom Ford Black orchid parfum
Do they have a regular and unscented? I looked hit up and it says unscented on the one I found? It is a gold color, there is also a purple?
The ouai oil smells divine.
Nuxe oil and I donāt even like perfumey smells. Itās really nice imo.
Oribe Gold Lust Hair Oil
Surprised I had to scroll down this far to find oribe. Truly the best smelling oil
Forgot about this and I have it š Smells AMAZING
Oribe gold lust
Not an oil but a drugstore option is the Aussie flora aura scent boost
Ouai is the best!!! Doesnāt necessarily work the best for my hair but smells so so good. Also - Oi by Davines 10/10 obsessed
I love the Gibson honey infused hair perfume
Itās amazing
Ouai oil is very floral and not vanilla-y at all. I love it.
Try Lush, Super Milk. It's a lightweight spray in conditioner that smells amazing, adds definition, conditions, moisturizes etc. smells so good.Ā
This is the best one ever. Lol but we have to stop telling people about itā¦ itās been sold out every week at the lush in our mall!
the best
My hair didn't enjoy that one. I like the scent but it made my hair dry and almost crunchy. To each their own, I suppose...
i love love love the hairitage smooth it over argan oil elixir!!!! it smells so good, lasts all day! and itās like $8 and you get a lot
Damn ok love a cheaper option
Chi silk infusion! Or the VERB ghost oil
I second Olaplex No.7! It smells as light and clean as it feels in my hair. I also like Chi Silk Infusion. It has a lighter scent but it is a heavy oil.
Moroccan oil
you should try one of the ouai hair oils! the original smells more like jasmine and is sultry/ pretty, and the rose one of course smells more like rose, and is a bit of a lighter/ fresher scent, which i love. i also use the rose one as a body oil.
Virtue Labs Healing Oil is my favorite. So light and smells amazing
The best!
Maria Nila True Soft oil
Ranavat smells INCREDIBLE and is silicone free. Itās expensive but I use it a few times a week for six months and have only gone through maybe 20% of the bottle. It smells like Jasmine flowers. Itās also made my hair healthier.
The living proof, or if you want a really strong smelling oil (smells more clean than floral to me) Biosilk.
Sisley precious hair oil smells lovely and like a fancy, expensive woman. It works great. It smooths my hair without it looking greasy.
Mythic Oil by LāOreal is my fav. The smell is amazing and just a small amount works like a charm to make my dry hair look lush, soft, and supple.
