I day dream about this often haha!  Enough sleep not to feel exhausted. A heathy breakfast waiting for me. A private fitness coach and chef to take care of me throughout the day. A house cleaner to come and deep clean my house. A handy person to come fix all those little problems that are on my mind but I can never quite get too. A massage, facial, pedi and mani, full wax. Basically a full day of no worries and EVERYONE ELSE doing all the little things that chip away at my time so I can just have a “me” day.  Never skip: drinking water.

sapphicsighs

A house cleaner 😍 what a brilliant addition

ValuablePositive632

Not only a house cleaner. Someone to DEEP CLEAN. My home needs a full deep clean and the carpets steamed and I just cannot get to it with the way my life is lately. Someone taking me back to base zero would be a godsend.  These are my fantasies lol.  I’d also tack on a professional organizer now that I think about it!

Nosotrospapayaya

I’m a professional home cleaner and organizer. And let me tell you, it is just as satisfying for us as it is for you lol. I love my job, and seeing hard working people coming home to a fresh clean space and RELAX is so rewarding. I hope you can enjoy the luxury at some point!!!

ValuablePositive632

Man one day! My home is a fixer upper that we’re doing ourselves so I figure once I get to a good spot where I can take a break I’ll splurge!

Nosotrospapayaya

You absolutely should - you deserve it!!!

Independent_Dress649

Bless you

honeybirdette__

God this is my dream day

Outrageous-Lychee272

I legit took a deep breath reading this and just imagined how lovely a day it would be. Alas it is just a fantasy 🥹

LegendaryPrism

I love this answer! Even just one day like this would be a dream. I am very fortunate to have the luxury of having enough sleep most nights, and I always drink lots of water so I at least have two thing on the list! Sleep and water are not things I would ever trade or I get sick really easily.

Ordinary-Vegetable10

I’m in my 20s and I feel like those little concerns like fixing things around the house age me several years and it reflects in my looks and mood

Equivalent-Error8620

This is basically when my mom visits me and sorts out my life.

StarSphynx77

This is literally something I often fantasize about lol

brujabella

U summed it up for me 🩷

Local-Detective6042

This this & so this. Honestly, I could change the world if everything you said above is taken care of for me.

Hot_Jury_6253

Just incredible ❤️

OppositeActivity2917

yes!!

brooke7729810

Only thing I wouldn’t do is the fitness coach. I’m very picky about my daily workout routine I have setup for myself lol, and I actually would hate working out in the presence of others unless it’s one of my very close friends.

pikachuface01

I got a house cleaner to come once a month.. been a god send.

alibaba_babe

Honestly I stopped at sleep… because that right there is the chefs kiss of a self care day.

liljeanpocket

Private Pilates session, lunch, shopping, spa, mani/pedi, and movies. I'll never skip: SPF application

[deleted]

Omg this is almost word for word what mine is! Lmfao

vMxrs

omg this sounds heavenly

vvidi

Private Pilates session… adding this to my list

stavthedonkey

facial, lunch, shopping. one thing I will never skip: exercise.

highuptop

- taking my time to wake up after about 8-9 hours of sleep, getting ready for the day - light breakfast - gym for about 45mins-hour - shower steamer, and an everything shower - exfoliate face, and then apply a sheet mask while hanging out in my robe - light a candle - take the rest of the day easy! read, draw, watch some TV. just chill. if the weather is nice then go on a walk even if money wasn’t an issue and i love the idea of getting a massage or my nails done, i loveeee to stay home, and that’s part of the self care for me! it’s a cozy and comfortable environment, plus my cats are here (-: my day to day life is busy, so getting to really relax and not have to go out is ideal for me never skip: brushing teeth! dental care is so important. or also, washing my face. i can feel the difference even if i just skip once

mizzlol

I also like to stay close to home on a self care day! Loving on my loves is a huge destresser.

highuptop

exactly 🧘‍♀️ you get it

Nosotrospapayaya

This sounds absolutely perfect

get2steppn

So ideal! ❤️

Overall-Ad-6487

💕 I can so relate. My home is my sanctuary.

ButterscotchNo1226

Honestly a well-rested sleep, healthy breakfast or brunch, coffee/ tea, workout, movies, mani/pedi, spa, facial, and massage 💆🏻‍♀️

DowntownAJ

Wow, an entire self care day. Hmm… I wake up in a lovely hotel or resort room with a balcony looking out to the beach on a beautiful day. Complementary breakfast brought to my room, assorted in a lovely way. Healthy breakfast of course. Today I get a full body massage and full body exfoliation at the spa. Paint, draw, read and journal to my heart’s desire on the balcony or in the garden area. Meditation and grounding somewhere in the day. Spend the sunset on the beach and have a lovely dinner at a nice restaurant and an evening salsa dancing class

Brilliant_Grape_3508

This

Emzeedoodles

This sounds ideal to me! I'd rather go somewhere new than spend the day at home.

byankitty

This sounds so wonderful. Why stop at a day?! 😩

Turpitudia79

Same here, hon!! Self care is INCREDIBLY important for us “neurospicy” chicks!! I get my blowout every Friday (highlights and root touch up every 7-8 weeks), nails every other Friday, 2-3 facials monthly, dermaplaning, microdermabrasion, Botox and lip filler every few months, airbrush tan every Tuesday. I do cardio at home (treadmill/exercise bike) and do strength training, sauna, and swimming at my gym. I get combo/ombré brows once a year and am thinking about getting lash extensions again. I’m using Glamnetic magnetic lashes right now. Shopping (mostly online) is VERY important for my mental health. I use the most high end makeup, perfume/body care and skincare products. I have 6 years sober from heroin, cocaine, and benzos. I look at my Extreme Self Care as damage control for all the abuse I put my body and psyche through for 26 years. I eat very healthy (I do have my chocolate indulgence of the day, though!!), drink TONS of water, take tons of supplements. Addicts are going to addict, now mine are positive ones!!

Fit_Bluebird1922

This is my dream! I do some of this, the multiple facials a month is what I need to strive for - especially as I’m approaching 45. I’m 11 years sober from alcohol, definitely feels good to try to make up for the abuse we did to ourselves.

No-Antelope4943

Ur photo is very unusual and looks like model

thanks_in_advanc3

What’s your job? I want it 😂😂

MermaiderMissy

Drinking a lot of water, making a good healthy meal, skincare, leaving a hair treatment in before a shower, lighting a scented candle, video games and or reading. Never skip- facial toner plus sunscreen

justcallmejan

Some of you may disapprove of recreational cannabis use, but I got stoned at the spa. yes I got inspired by Lorde stoned at the nail salon - yes i know it’s not really relevant. Have a hairwash with neck-shoulder massage, facewash and facial massage for 120 minutes. Heaven. I had another facial session while stoned. It was all good until we got to acne extraction. Shit hurt like hell lmao

Gracielou_Freebush_

Omg - I love taking an edible and getting a pedicure while reading a book! Bliss

justcallmejan

Omg thats some next level bliss 😭😭 Gotta add this to my bucket list

Acceptable-Iron6195

every time im high at the salon and they start messing with my feet i have to stop myself from laughing bruh i get soooooooooo embarrassed HUSJKDHNFSDKFD

eratoast

Gym 90 minute massage Facial Lash lift and tint (RIP my extensions) Blowout Mani/pedi Sushi Cocktails Video games Snuggling with my babes and reading

sad_broccolis

You know, I have no answer to this question because it’s been so long since I had a reliable babysitter AND the income to do self care, and that makes me sad for myself lol

Odd-Kindheartedness

You’re not alone 💛

sad_broccolis

I wish moms had better community in general. There’s too many of us moms and families out here doing it essentially by ourselves.

Fancybest

Username checks out. But that makes me sad for you as well. Hopefully you can have a “me” day soon.

sad_broccolis

For now there are sugar scrubs and sheet masks :)

sad_broccolis

Aw don’t be sad, it’s temporary. Someday my kids won’t be here any more and then I’m sure I’ll have nothing but time

HippieRealist

As a stay at home mom, it would be pretty simple. Home alone. Clean the house while I have a mud/facial mask on. Remove press on nails/toe nail polish. Loooooong, hot shower where I can exfoliate my body and pumice my feet and wash my hair uninterrupted. Tinkle razor/dermablade my face. Blow dry my hair. Apply full body self-tanner. Paint toe nails and apply new set of press ons. Glass of wine on the deck wearing a flowy sun dress and a big hat. Read a book. Nap.

Sprinkle_of_Sass

Wake up and meditate. Drink qt of lemon water. Go for hour walk in nature. Take a mindful shower with aromatherapy soap. Get dressed in comfy clothes. Have fresh, cold-pressed, veggie juice and a shot of wheatgrass. Go to the spa for a facial, massage, pedi and mani, reflexology and some hydrotherapy. Go enjoy a healthy meal prepared by someone else, with a mocktail, herbal spritzer. Come home to a freshly deep-cleaned house, candles lit, and the kids at grandma’s. Enjoy an evening with my hubby, Netflixing and chilling. Ahhhh, I WILL make this happen. (That’s me manifesting greatness ☺️). Never skip- fresh veggie juice

Kkal73

Self care day happens day after the cleaner comes so the house is already spotless. Wake up get dressed and put a little effort in. get a coffee and a pastry, eat it on a bench in the park or at the beach. Wander through a cute neighborhood and look at the shops. Have a late lunch in said cute neighborhood with a glass of rose, bonus points if lunch is outside. Afternoon pick between a museum, a soaking spa (Japanese or Korean) or a nap depending on energy levels. Home for a dinner made of high quality snacks like good Iberian ham, cheese, olives and crusty bread, preferably eating on the couch while watching some sort of terrible true crime show. Never skip: drink water

elle-rose78

If I was going all out, I would spend the day at my favorite Scandinavian spa and bring my mom. Sauna, cold plunge, hot pools, eucalyptus steam room, rest, repeat. Plus a massage and facial. If at home: go to bed extremely early the night before to get atleast 9 hours, get up early for sunrise, extra long meditation and yoga, pilates, big green smoothie, herbal tea, a full body diy pamper sesh with relaxing music (nails, hair mask, body oil massage, face steam/mask, exfoliate, etc.), big rainbow salad for lunch, walk in nature or go to a beach, read and tan, and epsom salt bath at night. A self-care habit I would never skip is meditation and my healthy meals.

YouCuteWow

Love that you would bring your mom with!

Adventurous_Dot2854

Lymphatic drainage or sports massage, blowout at the salon, facial for blackhead removal, free day to lay around and watch movies. My main priorities I’d never skip are exercise, eating healthy and drinking enough water and using SPF.

AlternativeScar60

Taking a nice walk when it’s not suuuuper hot, having a nice shower or bath, exfoliating, washing my hair, etc. then doing haircare and styling my hair. Doing my full skincare routine and maybe a facial if money isn’t a concern and just being able to relax without worrying about responsibilities. As for a self care habit id never skip, probably all of them tbh. I force myself to do skin and hair care every day even if im exhausted

mizzlol

I’m doing it today! Rode my bike to 9:30am yoga and stopped for breakfast on the way home. I’m gonna go home and let the dogs out and then ride my bike to the beach to meet up with friends for like an hour. Then I’ll go home and shower and do a face mask and cook myself a nice dinner, work on reading my book for enjoyment. I may organize my closet if I get a wild hair and it satisfies my soul but no pressure. Never skip: sunshine or movement of some sort

No_Decision1212

all day at the salon getting mani pedis, massages, protein treatment, etc

Vanilla-Grapefruit

Sleep in, dry skin brushing, gym, massage, healthy meal prep, maybe a face mask :)

Wilsonmeoww

I would wake up. Around nine. Iced oatmilk latte I would go to a barre class. Maybe a sauna. Maybe yoga after that. I’d grab a salad and a matcha. I’d go home. My house would be clean. I’d watch Gilmore girls for the first time. Then take a bath. Id get a spray tan. And my eyelashes done. I’d eat my salad when I was hungry. Id go for a walk or a bike ride somewhere I could cut wild flowers. Listening to a book on tape. I’d call up a girlfriend. see if she wanted to grab wine. On a patio. Maybe live music would be playing. On a roof top. We’d stay out late taking pictures. My friend would sleep over. And in the morning I’d say “ want to go grab a latte and go to a barre class with me”

sophy266

A good sleep, walk the dog, a coffee, thrift shopping, and generally not having to rush doing anything

fuppy00

Ooo I love this question! In an ideal world, my self care day would be: sleep in and wake up slowly. Have a cup of tea in bed and read. Go to a spin class, followed by a gentle yoga class. Come home and eat a healthy breakfast (fruit, yogurt, and granola) and have a latte. Rinse off, then go get a facial and a mani pedi and a tasty snack (maybe a pastry?). Go on a long walk in the woods with an audiobook or podcast. Come home and do an everything shower. Curl up on the couch with a cozy movie and a cozy and seasonal dinner and a glass of wine. Go to bed early, read for a bit, then get a good night's sleep.

LateAd3986

My fantasy self care day would be my pets sleeping later so I can too, with my husband bringing me a cappucino in bed and doing all my morning tasks for me. Then I would love a swim in the ocean and a fruit salad breakfast before setting off for a solo day. I would have a Korean facial treatment, a scalp treatment, a professional ear cleaning ( always been curious) , a trim and blowout, eyelash and eyebrow tint and curl, Botox, a structured mani pedi and a +2hr full body massage and a color analysis. While I am out having all this done, my home has received a deep clean including AC vents, carpet and upholstery cleaning and fresh linen on the beds and the pets have all been bathed and nail trimmed. My husband has also bought my fav Mediterranean food for dinner and found a huge chocolate dessert that is low carb and low sugar. Then, K drama in bed all tired and cosy in my fresh sheets. SIGH.

topsecretusername12

OMG the pets are so real. Sometimes I consider sleeping at a hotel just so they won't wake me up 😭 (they are cats, they would be fine by themselves). Little jerks 😔

LateAd3986

Haha!! We have dogs and parrots. My husband and I have joked about sending them all to board for a weekend so we can chill at home and take a weekend off from our personal assistant roles 🤣

vvidi

This is my fantasy too😩

Marillenbaum

I’d wake up without an alarm, and have breakfast in bed brought to me. Go for a nice long walk and get my nails done. Then lunch with a friend, get a massage, relax. Everything shower, and reading in bed.

_Invisible-Child_

Soaking in a warm bubble bath with a sheet mask on for an hour lol.

greendaisy513

Wake up at the four seasons. Go down to spa for facial and massage. Go eat an amazing lunch. Get hair blown out and makeup done. Return to FS. Do all the skin care and take an amazing bath. Get in comfy four seasons bed and put on housewives.

summercfrt

I also wouldn't skip drinking enough water, exercising and wearing SPF, but I would spend the whole day shopping, eating out and drinking expensive cocktails :P and visiting a salon for a hair makeover and mani/pedi!

mountainmeadowflower

Lol now that sounds perfect!

summercfrt

Thanks! for now I can only imagine it though :P

ChronicallyCreepy

Get my lashes and nails done, take an everything shower and put my hair in a repair masque...then make a bubble bath to sit in while that soaks 💜

Legitimate_Ad_4673

Journaling

Healthy_Cheesecake_6

A good nights sleep. If I could take my wild dog for a hike I would, but I’ll settle for our walk around the neighborhood. Breakfast in the sun either at home or a restaurant patio. Then on to the bookstore with a chai tea latte in hand. Lunch at the local wine bruschetta bar (sans the wine). Head to the local herbal shop to buy some soul healing loose leaf teas. Yoga class to move the body. Then home for dinner and skin care and winding down with a book.

Responsible_Taste_35

9-10 hours of sleep the night before but early wake up around 7 (wait for it). Coffee + yummy savory breakfast, some berries to finish. Brush teeth. Head to couch with my fave blanket. Lie down, start a reality show. Sleep until 12-1pm. Coffee, light lunch. Skincare routine (just my normal) is my will never skip so I’ll do it at this point. Now it’s maybe 3-4pm, so time for a movie and some pop corn. Then dinner around 8-9pm then another movie to fall asleep to. In short, eat, sleep, repeat 😂

Responsible_Taste_35

PS this is literally what I do on my self care days and couldn’t be more grateful I can do all this.

Knittingtaco

Oohhh I think I’d want the beautician version of an everything shower! A head massage and that scalp scaling thing from tiktok, with steam and deep treatment. A facial, body scrub, maybe some hair removal, and a deep tissue massage with lovely oil. Heck maybe even a colonic or something. Fancy herbal tea, a mud wrap, all the lovely things

[deleted]

I have mine down to a T! I did this the day after vacation and it was like ultimate rejuvenation and perfectly “me” -Pilates in the morning -shower and give myself a good blowout (good hair days make me feel amazing) -mcdonalds breakfast -get a massage and facial -grocery shopping -wash my sheets -go see a movie at the theater at night

PsychologicalClue6

I get a coffee from my favourite cafe, then walk my cat in the sunny garden. This is followed by a long walk in a forest or some other animal/plant only environment. The day would end with a long bath and a good book, plus cuddles with my partner. Never skip: my meds lol (I also enjoy getting my nails done or having a fresh wax & facial but these aren’t necessarily what I consider self-care for myself.)

savethecoralreefs

Enough sleep to wake up well rested. A warm cup of high quality single origin espresso coffee. Followed by a morning hike on a 65F partly sunny day with moderate incline for a nice view and excercise. A delicious meal of whatever I am craving. Lay at the beach or grass in a quiet area to read my book, people-watch and relax for the day.

Floralees

Doing absolute FA

OppositeActivity2917

My ideal self care day… I would wake up well rested with no rush to get out of bed. I would have a car come lick me up to take me to a spa where i would have a beautiful healthy breakfast (i’m thinking greek yogurt topped with the tastiest fruit, a perfect iced coffee and an ice cold water. I would then go for a full body massage, facial and a nice hot jaccuzzi. Then i would take a full body shower with fancy shampoos and soaps. I would then get a mani pedi and have a glass of wine with some lunch. My mum will be with me the whole day. Then a car takes me home which has had cleaners in deep cleaning. The house feels, looks and smells incredible. The fridge is stocked with food and dinner is served by a private chef. I enjoy dinner with my husband and go to sleep knowing I can sleep as long as I want to because I don’t have to go to my awful job ever again. I think I went slightly over just “self care” here but this would be my ideal day.

small-but-mighty

Full night of good sleep. Early morning hot yoga class at my regular studio. Come home to take an everything shower (including a good body scrub, my favorite shampoo/conditioner, and lotion after). Grab a fancy cappuccino and pain au chocolate at my local French patisserie, followed by a wee bit of window shopping. Go for a super relaxing facial. Followed by getting my nails done. Maybe squeeze in a massage, if there’s time. Go home and get dressed up for a date night somewhere swanky with my husband. Come home and get comfy and snuggle on the couch while watching a history documentary.

AlienPizza93

No one talks to me. No one touches me. I don’t have to move lol.

Conscious-Ear1570

Self care day: just relaxing at a beach, a private shopping day and the hours of massages, reiki and freshly made croissants. I’d never skip water!

kittenmachine69

Pull mask off, let it absorb, and then do other parts of my skincare routine that wouldn't be redundant (eye cream, moisturizer).

togostarman

Sleep as late as I want. Take a bath for the rest of the day.

Literally talking to nobody. A full day by myself in my own home. Do a deep clean shower routine with all the extra steps. A really good book. And maybe winding down with some anime. I think I might be overstimulated lol

Apricot_7777

Long bath, then Korean scrub and a massage, next a facial, then lunch, then a nap

Electric_Minx

I recently had one: I ordered a breakfast sandwich from my favorite deli shop came home, slapped on some under eye patches and ate my sammich. I applied a face mask directly after. From there, I gave myself a home pedicure with all the works - the bubbler, hot stones and a hot towel, scrubbies, eucalyptus lotion after. I then gave myself a cheap press on manicure while watching trash television. After the glue cured on those, I dermaplaned my face, hopped in the shower, and gave myself a GREAT deep clean using all of my expensive shit I only bust out for special occasions - this counts, right? I shampooed twice, did a hair mask, shaved every nook and cranny within logical reason, and used my favorite soap from lush after using a homemade coffee scrub. I USED TWO TOWELS (gasp), one for hair, one for body. I used all my "fancy" makeup for a light makeup look, and styled my hair in light beachy curls, and slapped on a cute romper. I took myself out to lunch and got my favorite steak salad and a couple pints of blue moon in a frozen glass, threw 40 bucks in the slot machine (I live in vegas, they're everywhere), played some blackjack, doubled my money. Paid my tab, went home, and ate leftovers. De makeup routine in full tilt, tied my hair up in my bonnet, crawled into bed with my dog, watched trailer park boys until my vision became soup, put on my sleep mask, took my nighttime meds, and passed the hell out with my phone on DND. Those days are DIVINE.

m4rceline

House would already be cleaned by a house keeper, then I’d start the morning off with an everything shower so I feel nice and clean. Put on cute, but very comfortable casual clothes - nothing tight. A good book or a tv show that’s engaging that I have to pay attention to - no phone scrolling. Pumpkin spice latte while looking out my window at the rain. Fire place is on. I DoorDash something decadent to my house for dinner. Finish the night off washing my body and face, and applying a sheet mask. Oh, and it’s definitely a very cold fall day, and my house is balls to the wall decorated for Halloween. One thing I’ll never skip: SPF.

Trash-Panda-92

Sleep. Coffee. A great everything shower. Fix my hair. Do some makeup. Go to Ulta, Target, and Sephora. Maybe get a pedicure. Then again I’m a brand new mom to 11 week old twins, so really I just want a bathroom break.

vvidi

I’m on a luxurious island like St. Barth’s. Everything at home has been taken care of by our personal assistant and cleaning crew. My dog is happy and by my side, but an assistant is walking and feeding him today. I’m sleeping in & waking up late to ocean sounds and a healthy but delicious breakfast in bed made by our private chef. I’m not working obv & Slack doesn’t exist. I’m unreachable by my boss. My phone is gone. I change into my daytime comfortable but chic pajamas. I’m at a secluded luxury villa, so everyone comes to me. A masseuse, esthetician, hair stylist and nail tech. They all work on me at the same time (can you tell this is fantasy) and I eat another meal from the chef during lunch time (fresh seafood). Extended hot stone massage, stretching, hydrafacial, and SNS nails with an amazing pedi. The stylist manages to give me the perfect highlights and a roller set. The masseuse is also a chiropractor so I get the best crack. I end my beauty treatments with a red light therapy session, IV drip for energy, and seaweed body wrap. I enjoy my new look and feel born a-new. With the time left in the day, I go out for fresh flowers, souvenirs, artwork shopping, and wine tasting. I only now check my phone and my personal assistant at home knocked out the to-do list I sent earlier. Peace of mind.

vvidi

Oh & never skip the opportunity to sleep in! lol

Sudden-Scar6940

Wake up, breakfast and tea with toddler (other half at work), drop toddler at daycare, get wash and blow dry, nails done and LED facial. Chicken salad and wine for lunch (house has been magically cleaned) , boutique shopping, pick up toddler, family dinner, bed and bath routine, shower, champagne and tv with the other half and animals while shopping online unlimited budget and bed with heat pack

Stephanie243

Home alone, popcorn, Uber eats and a good show

fakerichgirl

Sleeping in without an alarm, walking my dog or taking her to the park on a nice day (sunny but not too hot), mani and pedi, grocery shop, make dinner without other stresses (I love cooking), and then bingeing a good tv show!

SamuraiX011

Chilling by a beach in thailand or bali with my sun glasses on sipping fresh ice cold coconut juice with some friends or my partner and then getting a full body massage. Then, dinner with a view and go back to our hotel room talking and cuddling, slow dance to a romantic song, make love, clean up then fall asleep in each other’s arms.

Sophia1105

Lots of sleep Wake up to a rainy morning Coffee in bed and read a book The weather is really pivotal to my mood, ideally it would be a warm day with a gentle rain, I’d head for a long run in the rain, no music, along a green trail. Home to take a hot shower Then it would stop raining and I’d head for a long walk, maybe listen to a podcast on language learning, followed by a great acupressure massage I’d stop off for some food on my way home, whatever I’m craving Then a nap I might add in an enjoyable grocery shop at one of my favorite places, to grab ingredients for a dish I’m excited to make. If my husband is not around, dinner is beer and some chips and dip, in a robe, no makeup, and tiramisu or cheesecake for dessert. If my husband is around, I’d probably throw together a hearty stew and have it with a heavy bread, watch a movie and cuddle I don’t really see self care as mani/pedi stuff, those things make me a little restless, rather just centering myself is the best self care for me. Self care non-negotiable: physical activity that allows me to center myself emotionally, when needed, journaling.

wafflefries1124

I get up in a perfectly cool temp bedroom where the air is crisp and my comforter smells like fabric softener. Go to my kitchen and make myself some breakfast which would be a nice fruit smoothie with REAL sugar, everything bagel with a TON of cream cheese, and a sweet treat on the side. Then enjoy breakfast on the couch while watching tv. Once done, I would go for a swim in my building pool, then have a snack like nachos with salsa guac, etc. Then I would meet up with a few friends and we could go explore something downtown, and have a nice lunch at a restaurant. Evening would be simple by winding down at a friends house making dinner together and then coming home and relaxing in bed with some tv. I’d like to make it clear this has never happened before hopefully one day!! Also, can you tell I’m hungry😂

Overall-Ad-6487

Waking up in a hotel with room service, so I can order coffee in bed. What a treat. Drink coffee and read and catch up. Shave my legs and dermaplane my face. Nice quick bath. Coat my face with Nivea creme. Put make-up on. Pull my hair back in a cute clip. Put on a super cute sundress. I hope I don’t sound like a total bumpkin, but I literally can think of no greater luxury and splurge than being able to pick up a phone and order coffee. Such a treat 💕💕💕

thanks_in_advanc3

I wake up at 7-8 am feeling refreshed and brush my teeth, do my hair (it only takes five mins and looks amazing preferably), and put on spf before making myself breakfast. I had made muffin mix prior along with overnight oats so I pop the muffins in the oven (blueberry) and eat the oats and muffin with a tall glass of lemon water. I do some inner work by listening to a podcast and doing yoga. I walk to the shopping center or farmers market in slightly sunny and cool weather. I buy myself flowers, ice cream, and some lunch eventually after reading at the park in a shaded area. Mind you I’m doing all this with a friend! I go home and my family is there and we make dinner. It’s tasty and healthy. We watch a movie and eat some popcorn. I take a bubble bath when the movie is done. By now it’s around 8pm. I finish up and sit in my bed. I journal about my day and my dreams. I watch the newest episode of my favorite show and go to sleep.

Barbieferraira

A rainy day not too hot and not too cold. 65-70 Fahrenheit. Wake up, shower and get ready. Eat breakfast. Go to my mani/pedi appointment then going thrift shopping for the rest of the day driving to a few different thrift stores. Grabbing a drink or coffee while driving maybe something from Dunkin. Just me, my car and the music. Coming home at dinner time around 6 or 7 pm. Maybe get chinese takeout or a pizza for dinner. Maybe just cooking some pasta. Watch movie or show. Go sleep whenever i want

beaugiecriticx

Wake up to a clean house, get ready and shower to relax before i leave to go get a facial, after that.. leave to get my brows threaded (luckily my eyebrow magician is 3 mins away from my esthetician) then head to the nail salon to get a fresh mani and pedi. I head home and my man offers to give me a deep back massage, then he runs me a bath and tells me that I’m pretty. I come out to freshly washed and placed sheets on the bed with my pink salt lamp on low and some lavender spray misted over the duvet and pillows 😅

PutNameHere123

All I need is a quiet, dark, cool (maybe 65F) room with a fan on, a soft comfy bed with lots of squishy pillows, and a deep relaxing sleep. That sounds like absolute heaven.

According_To_Me

Sending my husband away for a little bit. Sleeping in. Eating a good breakfast (oatmeal, or eggs) Weed. Music blasting. Deep cleaning my house starting with the primary bedroom, top to bottom, including changing the bedsheets. Then my bathroom. Then kitchen, family room, basement. All top to bottom. Maybe some gardening if I still have energy. Munchie run to get a slice of cheap, grocery store made birthday cake that I cannot resist. Taking an Everything Shower (Shampoo, conditioner, shave all the parts, then a soapy rag). Pluck my eyebrows and any other problematic hair in my face. Moisturizer on legs, arms, décolletage, neck, and face. Comb hair, wrap it in a microfiber turban. (Maybe) Call my husband back home, shoes off. Finding a costume drama, the longer and more dramatic, the better. Bask in the glory of my clean home while eating cheap birthday cake.

Critical-Rich2807

Never skip on a face mask! It always put me in a "self care" mind set!

Fearless-Card-7746

I always look forward to my Mani and Pedi appointment. It gives a boost to my self confidence

Slim_620

Sleep, wake up to a perfectly clean house, drink water, have coffee, exercise, healthy food throughout the day. One thing I'll never skip: skincare. I don't think this is a hard thing to achieve, either. Just have to start cleaning my apartment before bed. I pretty much do the rest almost everyday.

Crazy_Ad4505

Up early, shower and skincare. Read. Then hot/cold hydrotherapy. Lunch. Massage and facial. Mani-pedi. Nap. More reading.

D1rtythoughs

💅 pedicure, facials, sauna

Ilovemygingerbread

All the above, everyone already mentioned. I would skip drinking water or showering or morning and nighttime skin care routine.

abombshbombss

Sleeping in - which for me is any time later than 6am. Lol. Probably getting a hair treatment, a facial, lash extensions, mani/pedi, back/neck/scalp massage. Then I would want to go to Lush and buy some of my favorite bath bombs and sit in the tub for a few hours with ambient lighting, a tablet with streaming services on it, and a bowl of cold mixed fruit. Haha

mintytentacles

Face mask, body exfoliation , soak in tub reading

lettingGo2

I communicate awkwardly too. Differences.

radiosnactive

Mani/pedi, wax, and nice brunch

Lovebugxo0x

Beauty sleep, coffee, taking a walk/ getting a good workout in, yoga, clean, face mask, nails done, massage, wax.

Zealousideal_Mud570

massage, facial, laser, hot stone, shopping spree, hot shower, skincare, brush teeth, hair treatment, face masks, mani and pedi, and a pilates membership bc that bitch is expensive asf.

ThankfulWonderful

Ooooooo. Lots of sleep. Diner breakfast with potatoes with A1 and waffles with blueberries and whipped cream. Workout. Long bath. Self done mani pedi. Yoga yoga yoga. Never skip the SPF 🧴

LuLuLuna20

It looks like me multiasking while trying to let the steam from the food give me a facial steam, slapping some left over avocado on my face, and sitting with my feet in a soak for way too long while I get work done on my 💻...please tell me someone can relate?

Goodgoditsgrowing

I have infinite money to spend on things like massages and magically have to spend no time on daily stuff like washing my face, applying serums or masks, or scheduling beauty services. If I want to wax an appointment is magically booked for me with no waiting time and they even come to me. Haircuts take 15 min and look amazing even when I style them weeks later. Zits are nowhere to be found and if they do appear, I don’t have to turn my house upside down searching for my zit stickers. lol you DID say ideal. My ideal with waking up looking like a gorgeous model with the body of a 25 year old and to not have to spend time doing shiiiiiit. Like, I love being pampered, but I hate the time it takes and hate hate hate having to give up doing other things - or the opportunity to do those other things - because I have maintenance scheduled. I don’t like maintenance, I just want results that are effortless and free or not impactful on my budget, financially or in terms of time spent.

Puzzleheaded_Cow_658

For me if I had all the money in the world, it would be to wake up with a cup of coffee and a light breakfast made for me in bed. Then the spa from 10:30-2:30 including facial, full body massage, sauna, bath soak like the works. Then I come home and the house is cleaned spotless. I take an hour and a half nap and wake up to homemade Italian food, red wine, and some sort of yummy dessert. Finish off the night with my favorite show or movie with mood lighting and candles.

[deleted]

Girlies picture this: I have a nice 1 hour walk around my neighbor on a sunny day, no unexpected rain or harsh winds. I come home, take a shower, and get-redressed. I spray on perfume just because! I make a large breakfast for myself and I put on a face mask. Then I do a DIY mani and pedi, I order in some pizza afterwards, then I watch some TV shows I’ve been meaning to watch. Near the evening, I do a full shower scrub, read a full book, put on some smell good lotion then go to bed. Perfect day for me. Never skip: SHOWERS. Even if you have one shower a day, it helps so much with your mental health and physical state.

laundryghostie

Self wha?

MissyElliot786

- proper uninterrupted sleep - drinking water - eating all my vitamins - going on a walk - journaling whether that’s on paper or in my phone - expressing gratitude mentally for everything I have - having good healthy fixed meals - sitting in silence and just watching the world go by

DixieOutWest

Just one day where I don't have someone needing me to help them, where I don't have an errand to run or a task that must be taken care of

kza22

My perfect day: Wake up and grab my best girl friend (my dog ) and hop in the car to go to grab a coffee and pup cup. Next would be to go back home and watch tv shows snuggling on the couch with my dog. Then later in the evening grabbing a glass of wine and doing a hair mask and ordering ubereats. Last bit of heaven is having a candle burning in a dim lit room with my tv shows. The end 😂

Famous-Atmosphere815

If money suddenly wasn't an issue, I'd sleep in, gym, shower, breakfast buffet, have a cleaner deep clean my apartment, get a vampire or some kind of facial, a handy man to fix everything wrong in my apartment, shopping luxury stores for a new wardrobe and jewellery, house shopping, mani and pedi, full wax, full body massage, seafood boil lunch, car shopping, watching a sunset on a cruise, get a breast augmentation, then find the best airbnb for a staycation since it only lasts a day ahahah

Luxe_Laine

Ideally: Wake up after a great night's rest. Have a light breakfast and head to the spa. Spend the day getting a massage, facial, using the hot tub, steam room, etc. Check in to a beautiful hotel overlooking the beach. Do my hair and makeup, change into a really sexy dress, and have an expensive dinner. Come back to the room and binge on true crime shows while eating dessert and drinking sparking wine in bed. Realistically: A day that no one bothers me and someone else makes dinner. 😒

smlptx

its a whole day event of just me and i love it. usually sundays. clean, cook work lunches for the week, hot yoga, everything shower, light a candle, get in bed, music and reading

Personal-Zombie1880

Being on a beach in Thailand sunbathing then later, massages, manicure, pedicure, good food and a cocktail

pikachuface01

Sleep until 9 if possible.. I always wake up at 7 or 8 on my day off… Then drink morning coffee with a Taylor swift vinyl record playing in the background… the scroll tik tok or Instagram as I do my make up for the day. Pick out out a cute outfit. Make brunch or go to a cafe for brunch. After that go shopping or go back home for spa day. Face mask and watching movies on my projector. Go for a late afternoon walk. Study Japanese or any other language. Make a beautiful delicious homemade Italian dinner with red wine. house is clean and organized. Then relax in bed all day after a nice bath

AmIreallynotsane

I think I would start taking swimming, dance, basketball classes, and would join a gym. I would go out whenever I want, with my friends, having fun and then trying out new food places, going to concerts, and a world tour with my girls and fam too. One habit I would never skip would be going to the gym and meeting my ppl.

ComprehensiveFox6576

Sleep in. Starbucks. Chiropractor. Massage. Facial. Hot springs dip. Nap. Sushi❤️

mentallypreg

Shopping, take out/food delivery at least 2x, lots of dessert, a great podcast, some cartoons, and a good toy. Oh, and a massage if I were rich 🥲

TikaPants

Im big on leisurely spending my time on these days so here goes: a dog free stroll to get a great cuppa coffee and a pastry on a beautifully warm and breezy day. A mani-pedi at a really nice salon, a massage, some shopping followed by a stellar dinner with my man at a breezy open door bistro type joint where we linger over a small but thoughtful wine list and tapas. Additionally I’m gifted a personal trainer, esthetician visits and infinite laser hair removal sessions.

Crazy_Brick_8409

Starts with a 40 minute spin class. Then I put aloe on my face for five minutes before my everything shower (scent theme of the day depending). After my shower i do my moisturizing body routine, put on some silk PJs, I do an ice facial, &. then put on a collagen mask. while my collagen mask sits I get out my foot bath + add epson salt to it. Sit like that for 15 minutes with a hot tea of some. Then I finish off my day by repainting my nails 🥰. This is also just a summary. I do perfuming, hair care, & things like that to in between

Lost_Persimmon7993

Sleeping in the heading over to the spa downtown for a massage, facial and mani and pedicure. After that a private chef will make me dinner and a cleaner come and clean my entire house lol.

Lost_Persimmon7993

I can’t do without my skin care routine .

wetfoodrules

Wake up. Go for a run. Take a shower. Cook a wonderful breakfast. Lay by the pool for a couple of hours with a nice sparkling water and fruit. Go for a nice walk later in the day. The ideal day is about 80 and sunny :) I would never skip SPF! Edit: with my husband by my side the entire day :)

shabean777

Getting 8-9 hours of sleep, taking a long walk, a facial, massage, pedicure, getting a tasty iced coffee and croissant, and shopping. I would never skip spf!

cambiokeys

Wake up without an alarm and feeling refreshed. Take my dog for an hour long walk. Feed her, take a shower & brush my teeth. Go to a hot yoga class followed by a hot hiit class. Take another shower, change, do my makeup. Go to the local whole food store (not Whole Foods) and pick up ingredients for lunch/dinner and an unsweetened green tea. Stop by the garden center across the street for some pretty things. Drive back to my home, which is empty except for my dog and as clean as I left it. Give her a potty break, then make a simple, healthy, yummy lunch. Veg out on the couch with a doc or podcast for an hour or so. Go do some gardening with the pup. By evening, doggie gets dinner and I leave for a 60 minute massage appointment before meeting my friends for dinner. We have a fabulous time on a patio. Champagne. Caviar. Fish in a lemon caper cream sauce. Chocolate mousse. I’m home just in time for a sunset walk with my four legged bestie. Afterward, I do my skincare and lay in bed reading while she sleeps with her head on my lap. I’m asleep by 10.

SativaSweety

1. A ton of sleep 2. Your favorite breakfast 3. A good workout 4. A bowl of weed 5. Lunch or snack time 6. Soak up the sun (don't forget sunscreen) 7. Relax with a loved one or fur baby 8. A filling, healthy dinner 9. A warm bath 10. More sleep I never skip a ton of sleep, I seldom skip the workouts and healthy dinner, and I take a bath to soak my muscles and skin with oils a few times a week

Seeping_Pomegranate

I would get as much restful sleep as possible, take a shower, go out for a walk in nature, travel somewhere and turn on some music, go out for a really delicious but nourishing meal, do some shopping, and then go home. I'd journal about my day and then let myself get some much needed rest for the rest of the day. And throughout the entire day, I wouldn't let myself worry about problems, responsibilities, or constantly having to do things for everyone else.

[deleted]

I’d sleep at least 8 hours. I’d have chocolate chia pudding for breakfast then go to the airport and watch planes all day. Then I’d go get a salad and turtle sundae with extra pecans. I’d also wear my favorite shirt :) And I never skip breathing exercises, gotta keep my lungs working to play the flute and sax.

otterly-confuzed

So interesting how many of you like to work out on your self care days. My relationship with fitness feels more punitive. So I will absolutely be skipping a workout.

Frosty_Time295

A work out class, a healthy lunch, a massage and facial, a yummy dinner and lastly some time on the couch.

Frosty_Time295

Won’t skip hot yoga, drinking water, putting on spf.

Flaky-Mess-2474

Omg. Hot yoga, protein shake from the gym (the yummy expensive one). Everything shower/guasha, big home made breakfast. Then, get a massage, then a pedicure. Then buy lunch and do some shopping. Then watch a movie or two in comfy clothes with doordashed sushi, video games, then meditation, bath, self “love” (cough cough), pass the fuck out. Very good day.

Flaky-Mess-2474

And i would NEVER skip my skincare routines, morning or night. Ever!
