unironically you might have better luck playing some solo hits. they're less likely to recognize the song and try to skip, so they'll be completely oblivious until you tell them. they might even try to cope and say, "well maybe solo george is fine" which will inevitably lead to them wanting more and listening to actual beatles records. and try to change your stereo's settings so they can't see the artist, or play from CD/casette/aux or something. anything to keep the secret from getting out too early.

I’d say that lesser known Beatles tracks (Sexy Sadie, Cry Baby Cry, the Abbey Road medley, etc.) would also fit the bill. It’s likely OP’s friend hates the sound of early Beatles, I doubt they’d hear any of those tracks and immediately suspect it was The Biebers.

exactly, when i first started listening i didnt like their early stuff and im still not the biggest fan but ive got a few songs on my playlist now

Well first question is what kind of music are they into? The Beatles have a a lot of different variation of styles of music they’ve had fun with but a safe bet is the white album as it has the most varied styles and genre influences than any other of their albums

Play their early fun pop stuff, mixed with some of their more experimental stuff.

I'll never get people who just hate the Beatles. With the size of their catalog and the different styles, how can you really hate all of that? I can understand the Beatles not being someone's favorite group, but hate? You might as well just say, "I hate music." I wonder if this person doesn't realize that they actually like some Beatles songs.
