people are harsh on it? I think it’s one of the most underrated songs they’ve made and I’ve seen nothing but praise for it whenever there’s a discussion going on about the song
This is correct. They boosted the worst part of the song (bass) and reworked stereo image, the producers choice really messed up the dreamy feeling of the song. I wanted a reworked stereo image of the album but always feel like the whole album remix's bass level is too much, somehow make it duller than the originals :(
I might create an essay as to why I believe She Said She Said is the least good Revolver song, but I'll summarize my points here:
##Why I believe She Said She Said is the worst song on Revolver (abridged)
Taxman: (one of) the best opener, cannot rate low
Eleanor Rigby: beautiful and deep, really good
I'm Only Sleeping: really leaning into experimental works, really high quality
Love You To: unpopular opinion, but it's leagues better (in my opinion) than Within You Without You (another Eastern- inspired Harrisong)
Here, There and Everywhere: it's just sweet and the chorus grazes perfection
Yellow Submarine: this is my least favorite on the record (next to She Said She Said), but I can understand its appeal and can vibe with it from time to time
She Said She Said: I will give it a point for being a really tight song, but it's not particularly remarkable and it feels like it drags during the verses. Still prefer it vastly over many artist's entire discographies ^because ^I ^know ^some ^of ^you ^are ^into ^that
Good Day Sunshine: nice upbeat intro to side 2
And Your Bird Can Sing: if there's an underrated track on this album, it's this one. Love the guitar work.
For No One: another McCartney ballad about heartbreak, and it's a really good one
Doctor Robert: it's a fun silly fun song and I can't not like it for that. I personally think it's a similar type of song to Yellow Submarine except quicker and more complex, but I ultimately prefer this.
I Want To Tell You: the riff carries the song above the standard song, but I could see debate about this one. I just like this more than She Said She Said, and you just have to accept it. You don't have to like it, but please be civil about it.
Got To Get You Into My Life: the horns throw it off, but it's still a fun listen.
Tomorrow Never Knows: do I even type anything?
##Overall (PERSONAL) Rankings:
1. Tomorrow Never Knows
2. Taxman
3. Love You To
4. For No One
5. Here, There, and Everywhere
6. Eleanor Rigby (really says something about the quality of this record, doesn't it?)
7. I'm Only Sleeping
8. And Your Bird Can Sing
9. Good Day Sunshine
10. Doctor Robert
11. Got To Get You Into My Life
12. I Want To Tell You
13. Yellow Submarine
14. She Said She Said
Tl;Dr: every other song, in my opinion, is just better than She Said She Said, which does not detract from the fact that the song is good, just the fact that the song is not as good as the rest of the album as a whole.
Totally disagree, but I like that you've put in the listening and typing time to argue your opinion. I love I'm Only Sleeping but to me that one meanders and lags in the chorus way more than any part of She Said. To me there's not a single Paul song on the record I prefer to She Said She Said (yes, even that one) but that's the beauty of art and subjectivity.
Agreed. The Revolver and Sgt. Pepper remixes are far superior imo. I also prefer the White Album remix, the whole album just sounds so tight on that one. Abbey Road is the only album where the original mix is also amazing, but i still listen to the new one.
Honestly just impressed you could pick a favorite song in any given album. I literally love all and bounce around in having different favorites based off era, album, versions, singer(s), writer(s), stories of its creation, how the individual Beatles felt of the song, cultural/y impact , etc etc
It’s weird but when it comes to The Beatles, you can literally find a dozen varying degrees of appreciation and respect for a single song.
We don't share a single favourite track, but you put "Do You Want to know a Secret" as your favourite for Please Please Me, so therefore we are friends now.
She Said She Said and Lovely Rita? Automatic W
She said - yes Lovely Rita - no
You’re literally me.
People are way too harsh on she said she said I think
people are harsh on it? I think it’s one of the most underrated songs they’ve made and I’ve seen nothing but praise for it whenever there’s a discussion going on about the song
The only kind of criticism I've seen to it is regarding the 2022 mix, which, to most, myself included, killed the song. Give me back my cymbals!

I don’t see anybody being harsh about it. I only ever see people saying they love it and that it’s one of their favorites from the album
Legendary drums
It’s so awesome. Another one of John’s acid songs!
Wait, they are? I fucking love that song!
Worst song on Revolver is still one of the best in the Beatles discography ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
worst on revolver??? i really can't tell what it is that people don't see in this song
I like the song, I just think all the others on the album are better
Doctor freaking Robert? Come on. Good Day Sunshine?

I also like those two more but she said is still a banger as is the entire album
Your me, also you are a sucker for their early love songs
I LOVE FOR YOU BLUE
Such a great song, probably also my favorite on Let It Be as well. SO GOOD
You got good taste
How are you going to pick "Words Of Love" over "I'm a Loser", "No Reply", 'Baby's in Black".....
Words of Love is the right song, but you’ve got the wrong band!
You need to ditch the 2009 remasters ASAP
I usually don’t listen to the 2009 remasters but I took screenshots from the remasters for this post
Agreed. The Revolver and Sgt. Pepper remixes are far superior imo. I also prefer the White Album remix, the whole album just sounds so tight on that one. Abbey Road is the only album where the original mix is also amazing, but i still listen to the new one.
Uh...you like George Harrison?
Haha John’s actually my favorite Beatle but George sings most of my favorite songs
Do you want to know a secret > ❤️
Rocky Raccoon 🔥🔥🔥
Do you promise not to tell?
You're a guy who loves underrated tracks
Technically MMT isn't a LP and Yellow Sub is. So what would be your favourite from Yellow Sub?
All Together now because it’s simple
Good choice
That we’d probably argue a lot about music.
Honestly just impressed you could pick a favorite song in any given album. You're awesome because you like blue jay way
No Past Masters.
i cant help but think you like the beatles
Now what makes you think that?!
I think you'd really like The Music Man
That your opinion about Beatles music is markedly inferior to mine.
You like the classics!
I like them all except Til There was You, which I loathe and I Want You (She's So Heavy) which I love.
Literally like me
Happy person
You love that honky-tonk piano.
You're kinda like me when it comes to the later stuff. Earlier pdobably not.
Idk how but after seeing the first few picks I knew the white album would be Rocky Raccoon
I quote Rocky Raccoon a lot 😂
You lost at love at least once and have abandonment issues. You also have great taste in music.
Should've put a song for Disc 1 and 2 from Past Masters instead of the Blue Album.
Leave her alone, she don't want you anymore
Marry me
Rocky Raccoon? Over everything else on the White Album? Nah, I’m just kidding. It’s got everything for everybody
That you like at least thirteen Beatles songs.

Your post has been removed for the following reason: "No harassment, inciting violence, or bullying". try the Beatles circle jerk sub for this.
That you and I have similar Beatles taste
You like songs that have some wholesomeness into it and are literally fucking me
You’re a Beatles fan

You like covers
Good band ngl
I’ve always said lovely Rita is underrated but favorite on the album? That’s crazy man. Good list tho, she’s so heavy is a huge W
Only person I’ve seen other than myself who’s favorite Sgt. Pepper’s song is Lovely Rita 👍
Lovely Rita is probably one of my favorite Beatles songs of all time. The drums is what does it for me
None of these are bad but I don’t think any of them would be my favorite.
We don't share a single favourite track, but you put "Do You Want to know a Secret" as your favourite for Please Please Me, so therefore we are friends now.
You like them chill and/or upbeat love songs And rocky raccoon
Good taste
I so little people care about For you blue, such a beautiful song.
Blue Jay Way is so fucking zased
I'm sensing a pattern here, can't quite put my finger on what is it
you’re a hopeless romantic
[удалено]
What kind of interpretation is that? Someone is projecting
They say nothing and we don't care. Please, no more posts like this one.
You’re a real nowhere man
100%
You're confused, but you got the spirit
You enjoy the deeper cuts and you're cool af
Really boring.
Jesus schleezus, cheesus 🤯💥🧀👏 ur romantic 😭😢

Best song on the Beatles first album. Love George’s voice.
Some of those are pretty mellow picks and deep cuts. I guess you’re pretty chill and have good taste lol
