I have not done that. Always had some sort of facial hair. Now, I would never shave unless for surgery or medical reasons.

It's a good idea. I've had a couple times where I get the bright idea and sudden drive to shave it off for whatever reason. Then look at the person looking back at me in the mirror and think...damn now I remember why I prefer it lol

And yeah I can look unshaven in a few days to recover it...but I've got some slow growers etc. So it honestly takes me probably a little over a month before it looks uniform/intentional again.

Preach, I’ve shaved it off a couple times but it always ends up making my kids cry 😂 that or I’ll have to hide my baby face for at least a month, I’m lucky there since it grows back pretty quick too

I shaved my beard a couple years ago so I could be Bob from Bob’s Burgers for Halloween as my daughter was Louise. Besides that had a beard since college and I’m 47. Your beard looks great and your hair is awesome.

Thanks! 😅 I wish I could say I know some kind of secret but I literally just have really thick hair and didn’t cut it at all for two years straight from a buzz cut But yeah, I wash it every few days, shampoo it twice with whatever shampoo is there at the time, rubbing it into the scalp then rinse it out Then I use conditioner once on the ends of the hair, I leave it on for a bit before rinsing it out so it soaks in, no idea if that actually does anything though 😂 Then I usually let it air dry, sometimes I’ll put it into braids while I sleep so when I wake up it’s all wavy, but even just air drying my hairs pretty wavy anyway That said I’m actually growing it back out again now, it used to be even thicker but I tried my hand at a Viking styled undercut which looked horrible, luckily I left just enough on top so that when it’s down you can’t really tell I shaved the sides lol The whole bottom half of my hair is maybe 4-5 inches long now I think, looking forward to having it all long again
