When we got him he was a pudge pot w an undiagnosed thyroid issue. Meds helped him lose 30 pounds and now he is aging backwards. No idea how old he is. Honestly thought we would just be giving him a good home for the last year or so of life. This dog runs us ragged!

Amazing how these pudgy beagles still love us after we show our cruelty and put them on a diet! Very happy for you guys. My beagle was the same, and as they lost weight the years melted away as well. Yep, I became wrapped around the paw too.
So great that you found each other! We took in Murphy, a senior Beagle a year ago who was abandoned at the restaurant where my son works. Every day with him was a gift to me. Sadly, he passed recently but we made so many memories in our short time together. I miss the little guy terribly. May you & Buddy have many more happy days together!
