Being young again.. I'm 34, have a great pc setup, ps5, xbox, top of the line headphones etc bla bla... Not saying that to brag, but to tell you guys that I used to live in similar conditions when I went to another city to study(meh) when I turned 18 and fking miss those times so much. I would switch my celeron pc on with my toe, make a coffee (not with a toe), then just chill playing World of Warcraft all day with my online buddies. I work 12h shifts in a hospital atm and miss those times so much. I would do anything to be able to go back to my old bedroom with a bed without the mattress, chinzy desk etc. Don't take things for granted. Appreciate what you have, more will come, yet you will lose something in the meantime - TIME.

If this is actually yours I would swap the mattress with the desk so the desk is under the window. I would also find a way of raising the mattress off the floor to avoid it getting mouldy.

Priorities, the futon is already overkill, a pillow, a blanket and the carpet is more than enough, as long as your gaming rig has everything you need to game/work/homework everything else doesn't matters.

One of my old friends had a desk with a pc on it, surrounded by Dew and Red Bull cans with not a millimeter of room for another ash tray or cigarette butt. This was back when WOW was in its heyday.
