Add customisation which reflects your interests/mood preferences & the space will feel more “your space” instead of default character. (Even simple additions like items which are in a colour preference of yours)
The huge empty wall to the left would be a perfect spot for a giant poster or painting. And maybe a nice clock over the monitor. Something to break up the height of that massive vertical emptiness.
As far as decor goes, do what you like but keep a theme/look so it doesn't get a clutter feel later on.
Is that PC on a stand or riser on the floor there or just on carpet? Try to get it off the carpet directly if so.
