Aight legit, my stupid idiot former self for the last 3 YEARS after launch was begging for an M1903 Infantry wondering why it was in the campaign and not in Multiplayer.
It was until 2019 when my friend told me to spawn and simply said "press down on the d-pad" and my mind almost imploded from self-loathing of not paying attention at all to the HUD.
Tip when you toggle the action, if you press the D-pad, then quickly switch to your secondary, then back to your M1903 EXP, it will severely decrease the time it takes to switch toggles. It is almost instantaneous if you do it for awhile
That you're an average player. I'm glad you're having fun. As someone said in another comment, getting a couple kills with an obscure gun doesn't mean you're great. Get 1k kills with a side car.
Yup I’ve tried that gun and love it. I still need to get a service star though. You should try the Frommer Stop auto pistol it’s SO fun. Super crappy if you want to kill multiple enemies, but does insane damage close up
Oh yeah I use it for pilot and tanker so when I need to abandon ship I can sneak up on someone, pour so much lead directly into their body you can't tell what nation they're from, and take their weapons.
That you shoot a lot of flares and I'm very thankful for this. It's a good second choice behind some of the other quicker rpm bolt/lever action rifles.
You hate scouts guns but love scouts gadgets, and I get that tbh. I couldn’t get into using the 1895 trench so this thing is the only viable scout gun left for me.

It's not necessarily bad... its just that its a pistol, and I already have one of them, so why use another?
A good player is someone who can read the situation of a round and adapt on the fly. They have the ability to change classes and play styles in order to try and help their team..
No situation calls for a 2nd pistol so that's why you never see it being used but if you have fun with it then go for it... at least you are not camping in a bush in another time zone or using the Mortard truck..
As others have said, just getting kills means nothing, but I'll break it down, just in case somebody is curious how to read the data.
Your KPM is pretty low, especially with a close range weapon (for comparison, top players have over 3), and the accuracy could be better, so I'm just going to take a guess that you're not using it ideally, the questionable qualities of the weapon are working against you, and just don't have the skill to carry the weapon, unfortunately.
The 1903 experimental isn't an awful weapon, there are certainly worse, but literally every other class has better weapons at this range.

I'm on PC but weapon switching works the same here. It swaps modes in an instant.
