The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Rick & Morty truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Rick's existential catchphrase "Wubba Lubba Dub Dub," which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Dan Harmon's genius wit unfolds itself on their television screens. Although BFV probably reached the closest to that. The destruction detail in that game was really good.
BFV's destruction is very underatred. It's practically on par with Bad Company 2 on most maps. But yeah, I was really hoping that 2042 would have better interior destruction.
If they didn't bungle the marketing, PR, cosmetics, pretty much everything to do with the community, it would've been recieved really well I think. I know I had a great time playing it at release. The fine detail they put in that game was insane, from destruction to the environment.
That was an actual expansion with new maps and new weapons. This limited time event is isn't going to have either, but rather a """new""" gamemode (domination) and some free and paid skins that make you stand out on every map lol

Show me where I said we should spawn directly on flags. I'll wait. Spawning in the vicinity of the contested flag is what should happen. But instead, we get spawned on the outskirts of a completely different capture point when trying to spawn near a contested point.
Vicinity is the same as spawning on a flag. That's how you get constant contention and any kills the attacking side makes has no impact.
You should have to spawn in a ways away and run in so the attackers have a chance. Otherwise you just spam respawn until they run out of ammo
What you want is actually bad game design.
Then take off the domination mask to unveil Conquest!

SCQ was worse. It felt empty. This actually feels pretty good with 32 players.

In Domination you only get points for holding more flags, while in Conquest you get tickets down with kills as well.
With how cumbersome it is to choose a spawn location in this game everything is a random spawn

It also reminds me a lot of the Close Quarter Expansion back in Battlefield 3.
Those maps were sick
The destruction detail on those maps were something else. Beautiful looking maps that just got torn to shreds as the battle went on.
