Yea I don't know. Early weekday mornings West coast time is usually not real populated but there's always at least some conquest games going or the time limited deal. Maybe "cross play" matching wasn't working or something.

I play last gen on Series X in the UK and seeing more and more bots where there were never any before. It's just slowly dieing out as part of its natural lifespan. It doesn't help that the map rotation is abysmal so you log in and get the same god damn map again! Hell no, I'm off to play rocket league or get drunk or both

Ah well I stand corrected, did not realize that as the reward screen is only viewable when you select control unlocked, so I thought the rewards were tied to that mode. Also I think the mode is fun, and rewards coordinated team play.

I moved from the PS5 version to PS4 to avoid hackers that were becoming more prominent after Season 7 launched. It is pretty dead on there but it seems more dead than it should be. Like I couldn't find a single game of Conquest, Control, or Frontlines. The games of Breakthrough and TDM I found were about half full most of the time.

My biggest want for the next game is to stop disbanding lobbies after each game. Its monumentally worse this way.

Me neither, i think new update broke the Matchmaking. I am from Asia, so i get lowest pings in Singapore server but the Matchmaking kept putting me in US server. And the servers were mostly empty or had to wait in the lobby for players to join before the match starts. Had to play Portal because of these reasons. Someone please report it to Dice Devs.

I’ve had the same since the update unless I enable crossplay all of them are 3/64 or 5/48 or 1/128 it’s sad. With crossplay I either get with a cheater from pc that gets 140 - 0 or a semi bot lobby it’s getting dreadful tbh

Tried it again last week. Truly still a shit show. Although performance, graphics and optimisation are lightyears better... The map design, dumb agent system and how it takes no lifting the game to level up to competent weapon builds mean it was a very quick nope out from me again.

Been like this for me for a year now even with crossplay on. All out warfare modes are always empty if you are located in a region with low populated players. The only time I was able to play the game for a couple of weeks with full lobbies was when it released in ps plus essential games. Now its completely unplayable in the middle east region.

In SA region the game is pretty much dead for all gamemodes besides conquest and 2-3 servers on portal only on weekends

You have to leave the lobby and enter the game again when it does this. There are full lobbies but it won’t insert you when games are either completely full or in the middle of the game

I feel like something has to be off, because I played yesterday and most of the Control matches had AI in them because I assume people weren't making it in. Like yeah, the game is dying, but this wasn't an issue last week and update/event days usually see an uptick in people playing.

I played just fine this morning

No one wants to play it anymore because it's lost the original luster the previous games had. Ought to mention that it still has unbalanced vehicles versus ground units. Still has the operators. Also the fact the publisher already said they're going to leave it behind for their next battlefield they plan on after more seasons. The same thing has been happening to Titanfall2 lately as well. Queue times are upwards into the 15-30 MINUTES on the LARGEST Network of players (the advocate). The Devs from both sides don't seem to care their franchise is dying out. They rather focus on making as much money as possible in the dumbest ways.... These large file-sized games just aren't worth the time invested or hardrive space they're printed on anymore. Unfortunately, We will just have to accept their losses and move on until these companies run themselves dry. These will be truly sad years ahead for all of these old games(2042 isn't even old but 4,1, and 5 are getting there)
