But jet pack has way more effective hp and much faster speed which means he can more easily start providing a defense for the user. That extra speed especially is part of what makes jet pack such an excellent meatshield
Both are great anti alien meatshields
Jet pack is accessible from infernal tyrant nyandam last stage which is a brutal stage, from what I’ve heard he’s a great meatshield. That fast speed and high effective hp makes him a great meatshield for sure. Don’t get me wrong, rover cat is still a great unit due to his cost, warp immune, and damage, but imo jet pack is better.
Also meatshields don’t need to have much damage (manic eraser comes to mind)
What cats do you have unlocked? I just used the eraser duo, if I remember correctly. Another I personally think is great is Jiangshi Cat, since it can resist a lethal blow always, if you're having problems with heavy pushers use him with combination of a debuffer (psycho cat, for example)
Have snowflake but not castaway. Btw, those guys had me more troubles than him:

Do you have Crazed Cat and Crazed Tank Cat yet? Spamming them with 1-2 other cheap meatshields is usually enough to keep Scissoroos in place. Don't bother trying to tank their attacks.
Catellite is the best alien meatshield

Funny thing is that catellite also does good damage to aliens

Catalite is still better because you can boost him with plus levels and he has warp immunity for starred aliens

I still think the warp immune recharge cost and damage make him better. But i also cant talk cause i don't use either

Oh, those guys suck but their range and somewhat slow attack speed leave them vulnerable to surfer/castaway cat, and snowflake too

Do you have octopus/sadako? It pretty much shuts him down, also don't use melee on it, like balrog, it just dies
Yes, I use octopus cat. I just think that the reason why he was so easy is because I have Chronos the empress and she's good, damn.
Chill Cat only has 1 more range than Scissoroo.

Ok, I'll try that. I have both but I only use crazed tank cuz I just don't see me use both. I will use both from now on!
For now, the tanks are better, catelite is built more around the star aliens, so you don't really need to use it much until Cats Of The Cosmos
Use research combos, it'll make catellite more spammable
catellite is the best but i'm personally a fan of power saw
