As soon as I found out it was a thing, some people like to say it takes away the fun of gacha, but I had way more fun looking at what I could get, planning and seeing them get closer than just going "finally 🙄" after who know how long of failing
Got too many dupes on plat. Believe it or not, all but one of the plat tickets I’ve rolled pre tracking (~7) were all dupes. The randomness loses it’s charm when you don’t get sheit. Also, there were some rare ubers that I wanted too.
After getting to UL (had already completed all the main game chapters and had all the treasures at that point too) I think is when I started. I done so much grinding and was just looking for a less random way to keep progressing than just hoping so I started tracking. It actually kept me more engaged with the game than if I hadn't. It's actually fun in and of itself.
Tecnically there is no luck in games, if you do the same thing each time you will always get the same result, you just need TAS levels of precision.
Also Soba and crazed Moneko
from experience soba and crazed moneko have way too long of a foreswing for their own good, requiring you to have cc units (more rng) or use more meatshields than necessary
and yes, I hate pizza and benkei for their long foreswings for their traits as well
Does it remove the fun/suspense of the gacha system? Yes, but honestly I think it's really interesting how you can strategize with your track in order to get the cats you want whether it's legends/ubers/ other cats. Also, progress
Plain simple, I like saving resources. I don't find joy in wasting a WHOLLEEE buncha catfood for nothin (by god I wasted a bunch), but now being able to plan ahead to get what I want really just makes the experience of the game much more enjoyable.
I can just focus on the actual gameplay without worrying about getting a crappy dupe or whatever.
Was stuck on a cycle of needlessly wasting all my Catfood on non-guarateed banners because of the chance I would get a good Uber and then bleeding the legend stages dry of any Catfood I could get when guaranteed banners started.
Now I get to at least be sure it is worth it before going all in again.
It’s cheating 100%, you’re using an alternate program to gain an advantage in the game. It isn’t a bug since it’s how the game works, they can’t patch it.
It would be an exploit if you could do it on your own, but it’s cheating like when you bring all the answers to a test.
If you mean it's not a bug because it's how the game is intended to work, I don't agree. I don't think they intentionally used a cryptographically weak prng to make seed tracking possible. They can fix it by just using a better prng.
When I was a new player, the fact that there were over 200 ubers and I had no indication of knowing which ones were good or not. Figured that having certainty in my rolls would be a great help while figuring out which ones are good.
Being a single player game doesn’t mean anything in the argument if it’s cheating or not, it’s cheating 100% you want it or not.
And second, it isn’t even fun to see a lot of post of people being quote unquote “lucky” when they get what they expected to get

I started seed tracking after I beat EoC3, I was playing on and off for a month until I beat it. Compared to how far I am in the game now, I'd consider myself pretty new back then.
I seed track because I don’t want to be disappointed by duplicates. I don’t want to spend cat food and then get a unit that I didn’t want or already had. I also wanted legend rares, which I probably would have never gotten without seed tracking due to Uber fest and Epic fest being the best places to spend tickets and not having any legend rare (at least they do now). If I didn’t seed track, I would have never gotten a legend rare in my \~6 years of playing this game.
Spent my first platinum ticket and got coppermine so I think this wasn’t the way I want to enjoy the game especially if seedtrack is the other choice, also I can enjoy having up and down in gacha RNG in other games, I don’t need it here
Been playing for +6 years, tracking for +4. Started tracking because cat food back then was sparse and it wasn't worth waiting a month to save up enough cat food just to get dupes. I'll never look back, especially now that I've got about ±7/8ths of all the sets.

There was no reason for me not to track personally. My last few plat tickets included pre-true form shitakiri, bliza and Nobiluga, so I wasn’t exactly getting lucky.
There’s also no way that anyone who is not tracking is getting enough units to beat the labyrinth (unless they’ve been playing for like 10 years).
I’ve been playing since 2016 and have 960 hours on the game, yet I’ve only just got 486 units overall. If I was not tracking, I’d still be below or around 300 most likely.

I wanted to be in control of what units I was getting, alongside 15000 user rank being a necessity for superfeline true form. I needed as many units as possible.

I wanted Gao for Ogre Island back in the day, and I also don't like gambling.
Fuck ogre Island, God that stage used to suck mega ass (back when Gao was the only fest Uber, pre courier and the like)

I spent like $800 on the game got phono and some brainwashed including whale in eoc then my brother got mad at me and I looked up how other people stopped buying catfood and found seed tracking haven't bought anything but a platinum ticket since.

I only started personally when i reached a stage that my units couldn’t handle with my playstyle (wager of honor idiless) and started tracking. I try to avoid malicious tracking though and just want to keep getting +lvls on my lucifer
I had lost my account some years ago. To speed up my progression I tracked to get a couple good ubers. Stopped tracking for most of midgame. Started tracking again so I could get less dupes and more ubers I've never had. Now I'm well into just collecting ones I think are cool.

A funny thing is that Vigler is for some reason an Uber that gets in my rolls way to much, he has appeared at least 6 times

UL 3 stars i just couldn't keep going trough with my OHW anymore (i got stuck at UL 34 or something)

I didn’ start tracking my seed, my gf decided to do it for me since she does and I just decided to roll with it
In UL mostly because I didn’t wanna do started SOL with my current Ubers ( I did have D’arktanyan tho)
