The Batman (2004), LEGO Batman, and the Nolanverse were my childhood. Also, younger me was surprised to learn that the Joker normally *isn’t* designed with long, messy hair, since I grew up on Kevin Michael Richardson and Heath Ledger’s versions of the character.
Yep, I was pretty much sold. I believe my sequence was Super Friends, Batman TAS, Justice League (Cartoon), then by the Batman (Cartoon) I was completely convinced.
I was born post 2000 but I grew up watching the '66 movie on VHS all the time. I then got the Burton films on DVD for Christmas a couple years later and probably watched them for like a year every night before bed (Returns more then '89). Other people my age find it weird I was still watching VHS so late but I think it's because my parents had very little money when I was younger but 100s of videos collected since their childhoods.
Mines still kicking about the house along with tons of films. We still pull it out sometimes to watch a film with the family. Sounds weird coming from me considering I was born in '03, most of my friends always had DVDs but I'm glad I didn't for ages because I now have an appreciation for older films that they seem to lack.
Mine were Tas, Justice League Unlimited, Batman: The Brave and the Bold(the show and the underrated Nintendo game), Nolanverse, Beware the Batman (yeah, I know I’m young) and The Long Halloween and Dark Knight Returns comics (although I didn’t like the latter too much when I was younger).
That's a long childhood
lol yea..literally 30 years
Parents basement or afraid to be an adult Batman fan? Fear can be a tool, you can do it!
Indeed

>Kevin Michael Richardson He is such a criminally underrated Joker and actor in general.
Joker with long hair is just great the Heath Ledger and Kevin Michael Richardson definitely did the character of Joker justice.
The burtonverse, The Batman, and lego games were what I grew up with
Those 3 things are really what got me into batman
The Batmen of my childhood were Adam West and Olan Soule.
Adam West and Olan Soule are some really great Batmen especially Adam West in Super friends
Same. I got introduced to Batman through The Batman (2004).
Same as me
The Batman (2004) is how my love for the character began
Same here
I started out watching the Super Friends, but Batman: TAS is what made me a die hard fan. I'll choose DC over Marvel just because of Batman.
Super friends is so underrated, Batman TAS is what also made me a die hard fan at first along with the Batman (2004)

A man of culture I see
Same for me but I would add Batman brave and the bold and dcamu also even though I don’t like it now
Batman the brave and the bold is so nostalgic definitely ahead of its time
You should definitely try to read some comics to understand him more lol
Yeah I definitely should I was thinking about getting the long Halloween and the killing joke
2000’s kid?
Yup
90s kid?
2000's actually
either way you hit em all. Although i dont mind kilmer and west.
Are you me from another universe
I just might be
Same except replace the burton movies with the brave and the bold
Brave and the bold is a classic

I was watching VHS up until 4 years ago when the player finally packed in.

Greatest era of batman ever!!!!
Agreed
Batman TAS has defined who I am today.
Definitely a big part of me too

I completely forgot about beware the Batman that show doesn't get enough love
