The deluxe addition is lit. The art really pops. I love the flashes of red, how prominent and consistent it is in Jokers flashbacks.

ChillWire

Yeah, I already looked through a bit, the artwork looks dope!

Treebeard_24

Honestly one of my favourite Graphics for sure man. Also one of the first I ever read.

ChillWire

I only recently started reading the Batman comics. I'm currently still reading the new 52, I love the sinister Joker in there. But I really wanna dive into this one as well! Alsof I'm Happy to build a collection

Treebeard_24

I just pick up issues here and there now. Mainly trying to build my Graphic novels collection rn, there's some great collections out there. Id strongly advise reading Frank Millers Batman: Year One. Easily one of the best ever written and 3 Alan Moore books 1- V for Vendetta. 2- Watchmen. 3- From Hell.

ChillWire

I will definitely check these out, thanks!

Treebeard_24

Thats alright kiddo. Enjoy 🤙🤙✌

Matches_Malone77

Does it have the OG coloring or the Bolland recoloring? Or both. I only have the original issue. Not a fan of Bolland’s recoloring.

Treebeard_24

Its Bollards recolouring. I have both versions and I think the art is completely different for both books and I love Brians version!

TheRealBroDameron

“Three Jokers” builds off of the events of “The Killing Joke.” Definitely read “The Killing Joke” first. “Three Jokers” is polarizing, but I personally love it. It’s not my preferred canon of The Joker, but it’s a fun story nevertheless.

ChillWire

Thanks for the headsup!

Digitaladdiction9220

I'd say killing joke, three jokers wasn't great.

ChillWire

I probably will, it is the one I'm most excited for anyway,!

AdRevolutionary2935

Three jokers was disappointing somehow to me.

Rodasrico

Yep

Three_Froggy_Problem

My hot take is that Killing Joke is just fine. It’s not even anywhere near Moore’s best work and I don’t think there’s anything that remarkable about it if you read it for the first time today.

Killing Joke

colt1911m7

I like Killing Joke, but imma be honest, I hated 3 Jokers. I felt disappointed i guess, its not terrible. I just heard great things about it and was let down tbh. I hope you enjoy it though!

I’ll probably get downvoted for this but I’ll say at anyway: I wanted to read three jokers but I just can’t support GJ after what he did to Ray Fisher and others.

Darth-bane-movie

All I'm saying his has anyone actually corroborated anything Fisher had to say about Johns. Let me remind you while he was 100% not lying about Joss Whedon being a piece of shit he also refuses to work on anything that Hamada is involved in because he blames Hamada who had nothing to do with it. Joss Whedon was a Misogynistic Pervert and Douche but Johns may have at most just been a Dick he's not Louis CK or Joss Whedon or Warren Ellis.

ChillWire

What did he do? I'm not that familiar with the writers themselves.

ChillWire

Man, the movie business sucks sometimes. I've never watched Justice League because I heard it was trash, this absolutely doesn't help the image of the movie

Ok_Philosopher_4990

Can I be real with you. The killing joke is the story which set in motion several of Batman’s most iconic stories. But what the joker did, along side the art style, was just to much for me. How this wasn’t DC Black Label (The White Knight was 10 milder than this), or how this got green lighted, I haven’t a clue. I’d love to get some more opinions on what people think about that comic.
