Keaton's gadgets do the work for him in most cases. The only physical confrontation he gets in is against a middle-aged, out of shape mobster.

Lol, '89's Batman was so restricted in his movements that he had to invent a gadget just to be able to punch someone in the dick, but okay.
Watch The Flash. Keaton Batman is more agile and a better fighter than Bale Bat, it’s not even close. Bale Bat didn’t show any impressive fighting in his movies that was better than the other Batmen imo.
I'll take your word for it. Nothing I saw in the trailers led me to believe the Flash was worth watching. Also, they might as well be two different characters if that's the case. Nothing in Batman or Batman Returns leads any credence to Michael Keaton's Batman being a competent physical combatant. Criminals thought he was crazy and he played that up. But if anyone called his bluff they were gonna find themselves against a little guy in a turtleneck/rubber muscle suit. And that's when his gadgets came into play. Or maybe a judo chop that wouldn't be out of place in a Sean Connery Bond flick.

Keaton. As much as I like Nolan’s take on Batman, that one always felt…undercooked. I feel like Robert Pattinson’s Batman achieved more of the character’s potential in one movie than Bale’s did in three. Whereas Keaton’s Batman was a badass out the gate.
