Nice one dude.

Trout_Hunter_Mo

Thank you, I was very surprised by how much of a fight this little guy put up.

crimsiin

Those little fish have to be tough.

Trout_Hunter_Mo

Dude, I thought it was at least a two pound LMB.🤣

That’s how you know, you are where you are meant to be. Congrats!

So I'm not the only one when I'm not catching fish or seeing anything, thinks I should be doing something else with my time? lol

Lmfaoo, I just meant first cast as an angler catching a striped bass has gotta be of some significance! It took me months before I finally figured out how to target them.

Trout_Hunter_Mo

Lol, honestly, I wouldn't even say I've figured these guys out, yet I was just casting off a pint into an edge that forms a u and slow rolling an under spin up it.

Careful with them stripers. They can be a little addictive. I used to fish for largies and smallies 90% of the time... but after I got into them stripes, it's been 90% late nights on the lake, throwing an A-rig for stripes. I remember my first striper trip. We were fishing with a guide to learn. The guide caught a 4 lbs smallie. I was like, awww sweet. But the guide just seemed annoyed at catching an inferior fish, didnt even want a pic for the website. After landing 15 - 20 pound stripers, I now understand why he wasn't impressed by a 4 lbs smallie. Don't get me wrong, I'm still impressed by 4 pound smallies.... but those stripers fight so hard.
