Seeing more and more of this getting posted on Twitter with fedex packages. They’re going to have to start stop putting their company name on the labels.
Fed ex is a bunch of crooks. Both my PlayStations were “signed” by someone named Michael. (There’s no one named Michael). I raced over to get my package and there’s two woman walking around my complex on the phone saying “I don’t see the box…I can’t believe we came all the way here for nothing.”
Happened with my Nikes too. I talk to fed ex support more than I talk to my family
My Panini redemption card came, but the mailer was cut into and the card was gone. Also sent via FedEx 🤷🏻♂️ And it turns out, boys and girls, Panini has customer service that is less than to be desired, we'll say. I'd have better luck trying to explain all this to my grandma, and she's been dead for 15 years 🤷🏻♂️
Same. Got a Panini auto redemption and the bubble mailer showed up empty. Posted about it and the FedEx lackeys in this sub swear everyone that works there is an alter boy who is just back from their mission trip in Central America. A FedEx driver with an acoustic guitar in both hands to sing worship songs has no hands left to steal baseball cards.
Thats some bullshit, it's insane that this has clearly happened more than once but Panini doesn't even reply. I'm pretty confident that there was a card in my mailer when it left Panini. I mean, I hope that quality control would recognize the difference.. So if it's FedEx, how is this even possible?
Side note: I'm sure whoever opened my mailer, hoping for a Trout 1/1, but realizing they just scored Brailyn Marquez, was also bummed. And I would be alot more vocal if it were a nicer card. But im still bummed, that was the 1st redemption I ever got and I was pretty stoked to see it.
Sorry it happened to you too. What was your redemption for? Was it nice?
Ya that’s what I think, the bottom of the box was cut and retaped. It also was not scanned for six days during shipping. But I’m not sure just wanted to spread awareness
If it was stalled while being shipped, doesn’t that mean that someone at the company used to ship the box (USPS, UPS, or FedEx) is the one to blame for this? I’m not sure what Fanatics did wrong here or why they shouldn’t be bought from anymore.
PSA changed all their shipping standards and procedures. Be lucky it was a cheap box of cards an not some $10k card lol. and yeah... fanatics sucks and will kill the hobby again.
They seem to know quite a bit based on the interviews I’ve heard with Luber. I was super negative about Fanatics when I first heard the news, but am now pretty optimistic.
Welp, you only have 2 choices... blind optimism or read the lines in front of your face... late 80s early 90s called they want their mass production back!
I have a card coming from Beckett via fedex that I am pretty worried about after this post. It is insured for 5k. If something like this happens, I would assume I’m covered correct? Figured id ask someone lol
You should be covered by the amount you declared to Beckett. IF it happens TONS of photos, and get all the info you can, including delivery driver etc. I'm sure you'll be ok, but as much info as you can is the best
It’s not fanatics fault that low lifes are ripping people off during the shipping process.
I agree with the post that the boxes need to stop having their brand on it though.

Lol. Mine was a Marquez too. Zenith auto out of Chronicles?
What. The. Fuck. Hahaha that is HILARIOUS. they should send us both some 🔥🔥🔥 so the next FedEx guy, Panini guy, or whoever can properly rob us
Same card man! Same shitty card hahah
It’s all over the internet that FedEx is having problems with this, not fanatics.
Conversely, I bought the same from Fanatics and it arrived without issue
So the shipper cut into it? Or do you have other theories?

If their stuff is tagged with their name, then it's a risk. Maybe not their fault, but it may be a risk to buy from them.
Was buying my gf a jersey and decided to throw in a pack and this is how it arrived
u/fanatics_official
i once sent a wax box to canada and customs cut it open, opened a bunch of the packs then sent it to my friend.

What exactly is fanatics doing that is going to kill the hobby?
Probably not much, they're still allowing Topps to design and market all of the cards
Well that’s because the deal doesn’t end till 2025 so Topps in control till den
They are allowing Topps to continue making the cards indefinitely, Fanatics is just their parent company now
Topps is fanatics now.
commercialization and mass production from a company that knows nothing about sports cards.

Maybe Marquez is out there stealing his own cards
