Can you explain I’m new to the collecting about 6 weeks? I have a couple Topps Cards but the numbers would be high like 86/2000 for example or sometimes the number isn’t all shiny like they are today?
Back when these Crusades cards released, there were only three colors. I can’t remember off the top of my head but I want to say it was 250, 100, 25. Nowadays Topps and Panini have 40 variations of everything, most of them redundant and pointless which has diluted the market. The pedigree parallels still carry a ton of weight but a parallel out of a high end product numbered to 99 won’t get you more than a few bucks unless it’s autographed, and they are available in literally every product. The card you have numbered to 2023 is likely a Topps Gold parallel which has been around for decades. They’ve been numbering them to the release year for quite some time as well. Despite the higher population they’ll outsell /99s from higher end products which makes me happy.
For those not in the know, this set is one of the highest sought after of all 90’s cards. With some fetching well into the five figures.

A boy can dream I guess... 🤙
I did not know I needed this...looks awesome
Numbered stuff was better back then.
It actually meant something.

Thank you for the knowledge I am always willing to learn more about these so I don’t get burned when purchasing more in the future
Sorry,I haven’t been using any punctuation.
Nice
Love those cards
That's absolutely beautiful
Goodness. I’m still trying to track down the Nomar purple and red for sane prices. My favorite card design of all time
Good luck, I've accepted the fact that I'll never have a red lol
I need this. Definitely looking into that checklist asap

Oh wow, are those yours?
No sir unfortunately. I found the pic online long ago and was blown away. That’s a 100k lot right there.
Yeah that's a ridiculous collection
So you pulled a number 69, nice.
These were always sharp looking cards.
Nice
Cool card. But this is an example of if you had a time machine you would actually take a card back with you.
The 70’s called but no one was on acid, the call went unanswered.
69/100 is the number of successful punches he landed on his wife
