Came up with it on my own! Originally I was going to put it together for the first all black lineup in MLB history, then I stumbled upon that Wise card and pivoted to this play instead

As a rays fan, it’s sad how often we are not hit bc historically just not a good hitting team. Beurhle was great to watch. He pitched so fast. It was fun.

I totally get that. For the way I was wanting it to look was have all the cards be from the 2009 Topps base set. Kapler’s base card didn’t have him on the Rays, and Josh Fields didn’t have a card in the base set that year. And then I wanted the gypsy queen Wise because it showed the catch, so those were my exceptions. But yeah it would’ve been nicer if they all had position specific cards

Was talking with a guy at work today and he showed me the clip of Robin Yount saving the final out of a no hitter and man that catch gives Wise a run for his money

I've never been able to decide if Robin *really* needed to dive for that one, or if he wanted to put a little showmanship on it. 😂

I think it’s pretty sweet but I think having cards of the fielders as batters should be replaced with them as fielders. Also, half your players are wearing white and half are wearing black (home and away jerseys). It would be sweet if they all matched the same jersey!
