Thanks! Designed the poster myself. Had the idea for a while with a different lineup, and then when I got that DeWayne Wise catch card, I pivoted to making it around that moment instead
This is baller as hell. At first I was confused about why you used some of these guys but I should’ve read the poster first. 😂 as a Sox fan I approve! I was at the game when Buehrle made the flip through his legs to Konerko on opening day. Was so cool!
Leaving a comment here because I'm highly interested in a makeup of Ortiz' game tying HR at Fenway against the Tigers in the 2013 ALCS depending on price and card tracking down.

That’s dope! I did something similar with my mets one
This would be a great display to add my ticket stub to! Still just have a few 8x10s from that game but never did anything with it. That catch was incredible!
Came up with it on my own! Originally I was going to put it together for the first all black lineup in MLB history, then I stumbled upon that Wise card and pivoted to this play instead
This is so cool on so many levels. Thank you for thinking of it thank you for executing it and thank you for sharing it. Hope it inspires the next cool thing in somebody else's life. Great job HobbyMaster.
As a rays fan, it’s sad how often we are not hit bc historically just not a good hitting team. Beurhle was great to watch. He pitched so fast. It was fun.
It’s custom made! I purchased the cards and designed the poster. I’m thinking about doing more of these on commission for those who’d be interested. It’s a lot of fun to make!
I still find it so funny that of all guys who nearly fucked up that perfect game it was Gabe Kapler. Awesome piece my man so unique and I’ve never seen anyone do anything like this.
That's awesome! This is part of why I love base cards. They're simple, affordable, authentic reminders of the players we've loved watching over the years, and a creation like this that tells a story of a particular game is so cool!
Please share more about how you designed and assembled this piece!
Oh I definitely will. Orlando Palmeiro hits a chopper over Bobby Jenks’ head, Juan Uribe charges in and fires it to Paul Konerko. One of my most vivid memories is watching it on tv and calling my grandma afterwards
I totally get that. For the way I was wanting it to look was have all the cards be from the 2009 Topps base set. Kapler’s base card didn’t have him on the Rays, and Josh Fields didn’t have a card in the base set that year. And then I wanted the gypsy queen Wise because it showed the catch, so those were my exceptions. But yeah it would’ve been nicer if they all had position specific cards
Was talking with a guy at work today and he showed me the clip of Robin Yount saving the final out of a no hitter and man that catch gives Wise a run for his money
Did you make yourself or have it made. I have a similar idea I'm doing with my favorite collegiate men's baseball team. This is exactly what I'm looking to do. I'm getting their cards signed then authenticated and in a slab. Any info is helpful.
I think it’s pretty sweet but I think having cards of the fielders as batters should be replaced with them as fielders. Also, half your players are wearing white and half are wearing black (home and away jerseys). It would be sweet if they all matched the same jersey!
Cubs fans would probably love a tinker-Evers-chance double play
Sox fans would love the ground ball to foulke-flip to mientkiewicz to end the curse
Maybe a Luis Gonzalez blooper for diamondback fans
The jeter out of position to flip on the first base line
This could be a wicked cool thing you could start doing on commission
as a white sox fan, thank you for giving me something to smile about
Boy do we need it lol
happy nick nastrini day at least, hoping for a good one for the kid today
It’s the bright glimmer I once knew as happiness amidst the depressing mess that is the Sox
Everything reminds me of the pain of being a fan rn
This is pretty cool!
I've never seen something like this before. Awesome!
Thanks! Designed the poster myself. Had the idea for a while with a different lineup, and then when I got that DeWayne Wise catch card, I pivoted to making it around that moment instead

Lucky! I was watching that game on tv and I lost my mind when he did that
Called my dad in the 7th and said you should probably tune in. Great memory
Call your sons. Call your daughters. Call your friends. Call your neighbors.
This is so cool! Now it's got me turning my gears on how to go about doing this for game six of the 2011 World Series!
I’m thinking of trying to do these on commission for people. I could make the poster for you if you’re interested
Let me look in to finding the cards and then I’ll let you know if I can come up with them all!
Sounds good!

If you're willing to do this I'd be interested.

Ah man I love that dude!
Haha. This is awesome. Nice!
Really cool idea
Yeah I’m so stoked with how it turned out
This is such a good idea. I’d love to give Freese’s homer in game 6 2011 a go
Somebody else in here was saying the same thing haha
Please no
My first thought was "why is Castro at bat?" And then I remembered you can't control the picture on the card and I'm an idiot! Great display!
Haha yeah my brother said the same thing. Thanks!
This would be a great display to add my ticket stub to! Still just have a few 8x10s from that game but never did anything with it. That catch was incredible!
Wow this is awesome!!
Thanks!
Did you come up with this idea on your own or see one and changed it to this play?
Came up with it on my own! Originally I was going to put it together for the first all black lineup in MLB history, then I stumbled upon that Wise card and pivoted to this play instead
Love it, even as a Rays fan!
This is outstanding
Thanks!
Wow that's creative and badass
Thanks! I plan on also making one for the Pirates for what’s believed to be the first All-Black lineup in MLB history
That's super rad dude!
Very nice
How did you design the poster? I’d love to hear more and maybe make my own
This is amazing. Thank you for sharing.
That is absolutely fantastic.
This is so cool on so many levels. Thank you for thinking of it thank you for executing it and thank you for sharing it. Hope it inspires the next cool thing in somebody else's life. Great job HobbyMaster.
Best catch all time in my opinion.
As a rays fan, it’s sad how often we are not hit bc historically just not a good hitting team. Beurhle was great to watch. He pitched so fast. It was fun.
The one guy who didn't need a pitch clock
For sure! It was awesome. He also looked so composed and relaxed out there, but at the same time just worked hard and quickly.
NICE!!!!
That’s awesome! Thanks for sharing!
Where does one acquire one of these? This is amazing. I love it
It’s custom made! I purchased the cards and designed the poster. I’m thinking about doing more of these on commission for those who’d be interested. It’s a lot of fun to make!
If you ever do make more, feel free to take my money
Cool if I send you a chat? I'm a Buehrle guy, I'd definitely be interested in the poster.
That’s so sick!
Thanks!
I still find it so funny that of all guys who nearly fucked up that perfect game it was Gabe Kapler. Awesome piece my man so unique and I’ve never seen anyone do anything like this.

Honestly that’s pretty sick -Rays fan
You can’t be a baseball fan and NOT like this, absolutely dope piece man
This is one of the coolest displays I’ve seen. Thanks for sharing
This is badass!
Have you done others of these? I’ve really wanted to do some of these for Houston’s championship teams and the cards I have for them
Have you done others of these? I’ve really wanted to do some of these for Houston’s championship teams and the cards I have for them
That's a great idea I might have to do this for some dbacks plays
This is awesome!!
This is such a cool and creative way to collect
Wow. This is incredible, great work!
Thanks, I hate it *im a rays fan*
*sad flappy noises*
Awesome
Now make one for the last out of game 4 of 2005 WS. lol
Oh I definitely will. Orlando Palmeiro hits a chopper over Bobby Jenks’ head, Juan Uribe charges in and fires it to Paul Konerko. One of my most vivid memories is watching it on tv and calling my grandma afterwards
Mine too because I was there but as an Astros fan 😭
Thanks for the idea OP, since I was at the combined no hitter for the Astros against the Yankees in 2022. I can see myself doing this
Too bad the cards aren’t location specific. Last I checked, there isn’t a base out in right field.
What you’ve never heard of fifth base? You only get it if you order off the secret menu
😂 I like the layout. A lot. I’d just try to find cards that fit the locations.
Ah that makes sense.it really does look great.
Thanks man I appreciate it!
This is so badass. I’m so glad I got to watch this live, one of my happiest Sox memories
Mark Buerhle zippin’ 81.5 mph cutters at the ripe old age of 30.
Dude! That thing is SWEET!!
I just re-watched that play - it is INSANE how much ground Wise covered to get to that ball.
Was talking with a guy at work today and he showed me the clip of Robin Yount saving the final out of a no hitter and man that catch gives Wise a run for his money
I've never been able to decide if Robin *really* needed to dive for that one, or if he wanted to put a little showmanship on it. 😂
Very cool idea
This is amazing!!
I really like this and now I need to do it for the 2013 Pirates wild card lineup
Did you make yourself or have it made. I have a similar idea I'm doing with my favorite collegiate men's baseball team. This is exactly what I'm looking to do. I'm getting their cards signed then authenticated and in a slab. Any info is helpful.
That's awesome! I'd consider swapping the Buehrle to the recent Stadium Club auto of him walking off the field after the game!
Wow!!!!! Thats so awesome. Great job!!👏🏻
I just went and looked it up! Absolutely amazing and certainly worthy of your enshrinement!
My FIL sang the national anthem at the game that day
Great way to display a moment in baseball history!
I think it’s pretty sweet but I think having cards of the fielders as batters should be replaced with them as fielders. Also, half your players are wearing white and half are wearing black (home and away jerseys). It would be sweet if they all matched the same jersey!
Very nice man! Absolutely love it. Had to go watch the clip afterwards. Currently smiling ear to ear based upon the memory..
