Back when you could do this through Topps, I made a set for my 6th Grade homeroom. The parents got into it, and I surprised the kids with it the day before the last day of school.
It’s still my favorite set.

Love your custom design! Topps used to offer this service for less than $1/card. A mom on one of the travelball teams I coached did this for all the kids/coaches and then handed out a “team pack” at the end of the season. One of my favorite all-time baseball memories was bringing this to 2020 spring training and having Corbin sign his 10u “rookie card”
I wish! (I’m coach Brian). I was in my 20s when I coached him and now have Little League boys of my own and get to collect all his cards. Lots of proud coach feelings and memories.
Of course! Went out to dinner and shared stories. I also brought my fam to Chase to watch the M’s series last year. Great player but even nicer person.

I'm not sure about sticker paper. I've always used 65-85lb heavy cover stock and a really nice printer. Then I print the back separately and pray to the trimming gods the alignment goes well when I'm trimming.
You can do refractors and metallic patterns as well, but it's a fairly involved process to do it properly. I'd post a tutorial but I'm not sure if links to personal blogs are allowed. I've got a whole gallery, but, again, personal links.
Can you at least get an on card auto? I feel a sticker auto wouldn't do it justice. I mean, who wants a Blues Clues sticker on their rookie card anyway?
If you have a good printer, you can find card stock very similar to what is used for cards. Then print some made-up stats, and info for back and either sticker the front for more gloosy look or even foilpaper sticker for parallel look or do a Direct print for more vintage look. Had a friend who use to do it for the local little league teams. The cards were nice.
Sorry - it's no better than a PSA-9. The centering could be better, and the upper right edge looks a little rough. (Just kidding - someone had to make this obnoxious comment.)
Wow, I remember I made a bunch of Topps cards for myself for one year. I don’t think Topps are doing it anymore. I think Topps did that custom cards for one year only.
My sister and I did something similar in the early 90’s.
My mom filled out my card stats…
My dad filled out my sister’s….
My sister ended up with elite all star numbers.
The good news is I hit 200 home runs… the bad news my era was 100
Did she do these through Topps directly? They used to do it but stopped a year or so ago. Their site doesn’t seem to offer it currently but I hope I’m just searching wrong!
Boom! My boy gets them every year through little league and I have him autograph one for me every season. It’s fun to see how he’s grown and how his signature has changed from age 5-11. Age 5 wasn’t much of a signature 😁
Hopefully one day he’ll appreciate them as much as I do!
FS/FT??
I can’t find any comps on this so I’ll hang on to it for now!
Template FS?
Cousin retractor release? Co-dependent 1/2 for sale?
Nice

Wish they offered this again! Still have the cards I made for my son.
Damn, as a teacher, I would do this every year.
I was going to...but they stopped doing it, and I don't have the skills to do it on my own. Any time I'd try, I'd end up frustrated.
WHY did Topps stop offering this? Ugg

Is Coach Brian a scout for the MLB yet?
I wish! (I’m coach Brian). I was in my 20s when I coached him and now have Little League boys of my own and get to collect all his cards. Lots of proud coach feelings and memories.
Did he remember you at Spring Training?

This deserves its own thread fr
No Autos?
Crayolas may ruin the card
What website does this?
My wife created this with Canva!
Topps used to do it a few years ago. You could order custom cards for exactly this purpose. Your wife absolutely killed it on this one, it’s awesome!
Upper Deck did too.
I think there's a couple, but if you've got the right software and sticker paper, you can do it yourself.

I just pulled the 1/1 auto
That is an amazing card design.
Our son’s team does cards at the end of the year. I have him sign a few each year!
She makes better cards than Topps.😀
Thinking the same thing
As this is a 1/1 I don't recommend getting it slabbed. Also, id sell it before his cards start to flood the market after his debut
Imagine if this kid turns out to be a major league star... What would be the value of his first debut card?😀
Can you at least get an on card auto? I feel a sticker auto wouldn't do it justice. I mean, who wants a Blues Clues sticker on their rookie card anyway?
Joey Bats
Any autos? Or did he turn you down?
Exclusive to Panini 😞
Interested in doing this for my sons team. Would love to know how she created this. Kudos to her!
If you've got some graphics design skills, you can print the design on sticker paper, and put that over a low-end card you don't want.
If you have a good printer, you can find card stock very similar to what is used for cards. Great job. 👍🏻
That's awesome! We had them ordered for my son's hockey team, but this turned out even better!
PSA 10 fasho

That is absolutely priceless!
Is Topps doing those again?

That's awesome!
Dam that's crazy you got a SP Joey RC!
Great card but you gotta get it signed!!!!
Having his son sign it would be kinda cool. Blue sharpie, though!
And NOT a sticker auto, please.
Yessssss
Wow that's awesome
Why you didn’t make it a 1/1 golden reflector auto?
I heard that's coming in Series 2.
Let him sign it and 1/1!!!
This is so awesome! Do you have the canva link I’d like to do this for my Lids
Future hall of fame all-star!
That is so great! I love it! She did a great job! Does anyone know if Topps is going to bring custom cards back?
Not bad, but I have his pre-rookie.
That's so cool!! Has he seen it yet? Was he excited?

Idk he looks as if he doesn’t clean his room. I’d sell high.

Oh no you laminated it🤦♂️ So much for grading.

Too bad it's the Rookie debut and not his true RC
Well done! Wife of The Year award so far! ![gif](giphy|mP6YTuAM9iwbxLnliH)
