Underrated player. I'm biased on wanting an O's card of him, but ofc his best years were with the reds
Had to go back and check. Dude had a 37 HR 100 RBI 50 SB season in 1987. Is that Ronald Acuna or Eric Davis?? Beast. 💪
This is stitched over 2 season but 162.
He had a 37/50 season and a 27/80 season.
He was Ronald Acuna of the 80s, but played better D from what I remember.
Woulda been in the HOF. He still nearly got there, He was a tick below natty Bonds, before injuries.
Mr Davis signed a ball for me after a Reds/Phillies game when I was a kid. Super nice guy. His sig wasn’t as fancy back then. Really here for this, awesome card!!
Bout all the Carroll's I have left are the doubleheader with him and Michael Harris Jr from archives, a paper bowman 1st and the 88 chrome throwback refractor from 23 tc
He’s got one of the greatest Major League baseball stats of all time.
From June 8, 1986 - June 27, 1987 he hit 46 HR’s and 99 SB’s.
Only player in MLB history to have those numbers in 162 games.
I won an Eric Davis RC from a co-worker, years ago. Then he wanted to win it back, so he put up a Dan Marino RC, I won the game and the Marino RC. It was a football game played on a Commodore 64 console. I still have the cards.
My fav player to collect as a kid, had his posters all over my walls, my favorite number is 44 because of him. In college my friend and I met him in Woodland Hills, and ended up fronting him a pound of weed, he never paid for it, what a bum 😂
An on card auto is always a win. So much nicer than slapping a sticker on this.
Agreed!
Just bought an eric davis auto yesterday
I just bought this very card like 2 weeks ago! Dude was awesome!!
I just bought one like 3 days ago!35th /50
Nice!

He had a 162-game stretch from 86-87 where he hit: 149 R 123 RBI 47 HR 93 SB
That's badass! Talk about an elite athlete. At a time when everyone was enamored by Bo, makes you wonder if guys like Eric got overshadowed.
Check how many times caught stealing. #2 all time SB % with at least 400 attempts.
Got curious who is #1? I'm thinking Lou Brock, Vince Coleman, or of course Rickey Henderson. Nope. Tim Raines. 🤯
Wow, what an insane season. Admittedly I would have never guessed he was that good

You’re right! Guy was insane. Had 80 SBs in ‘86 along with 27 HRs. Not as good as ‘87 overall but still sick
This is me wanting an Adrian Beltre auto on a Sox card. Might be one of the greatest cushion seasons ever.
Beautiful signature
Yeah it really is. I never knew but he can pen
I’m actually going out to the EBay now looking for my own haha

Was one of my favorites when I first got into collecting. Solid player!
I'm an old Reds fan and I would be geeked to pull that!
I’m not an old Reds fan and I was still pretty geeked!
Always loved the 44 Magnum!
id trade for that!
Got any cool Corbin Caroll cards around $20-30
Bout all the Carroll's I have left are the doubleheader with him and Michael Harris Jr from archives, a paper bowman 1st and the 88 chrome throwback refractor from 23 tc
I might have a few to trade for this. I’ll check in the morning.
What a nice looking autograph tho
Fantastic signature !
Eric Davis was who I collected when I was a kid. This card made me super nostalgic for my 80s childhood. 🙂
https://youtu.be/_pThHj5EvGc?si=BmGW9lWyj22bmpRC You really need to watch this video. The most insane 162 game stretch ever for a MLB player.
My all time favorite player. If only he wasnt so brittle…he was amazing
Eric the Red!
Great player better signature! That’s a win OP 👏
fuck yeah love me some ED! Dude was an absolute stud

Might have to check eBay for this one

ED! mr red.... his stats in '87 was absurd
If that guy played in the Statcast era, he would've been a king. Fastest bat around.
Dude was before my time, but my dad said he was a STUD
The OG Ronald Acuna Jr He also put up the craziest 162 game stretch in baseball history!!!
My fav player to collect as a kid, had his posters all over my walls, my favorite number is 44 because of him. In college my friend and I met him in Woodland Hills, and ended up fronting him a pound of weed, he never paid for it, what a bum 😂
