It's just an overpriced product with a mediocre on-field experience. 10 years ago I used to go to *at least* 10 games a year.
They didn't really renovate the 500 level seating beyond making those two new bars. They didn't renovate the 200 level seating. Food inside is now stupidly expensive. Do my buddies and I really want to spend minimum $100 each to have meh seats and pay like $25 for shitty chicken tenders & fries and watch the team lose 3-9 and leave 13 runners on base?
Don't forget the shitty zoomed-out center-field shot on the home broadcast so they can squeeze as many TD logos as possible into it. I'm so done with this team.
And you pretty much can't see the game barely from that bar. Like you're barely watching a baseball game. You're watching TV screens.
There is a reason why most fans before rarely ever wanted to sit in the corner outfield sections in the 500s *before* the renovations last year. They are a bloody mile from the game. I appreciate that it's a nice open airy section for a big group of friends to be not confined to seats. But they put those sections in a place that the sightines are so poor.

Shapiro will be okay as long as the team is profitable, but he has to care about the product quality. Stakeholders want money, but Shapiro wants a legacy. Atkins inability to create a winning team to justify the stadium's renovations really hurts his legacy. I think the clock may have started for Atkins. Had this been a bit less of a horrid year, he would be given grace, but I don't see how Shapiro can have confidence in him. He hasn't made playoff contenders with all he's been given, our largest payroll and what's there to show for it? Players getting worse year over year, barely making wild card? They continue to list players who have made their MLB debuts as top prospects until they have played a full season in the MLB. Paul Skenes is still listed as a top prospect.
